The food is the best Chinese food in Milford that is if you can get the right order! We are absolutely sick & tired of ordering from CT and not getting what we ordered! Today was the last time and when I called to let them know there was no meat in my dish and we were missing stuff the woman who answered the phone blamed me! Not worth being overcharged, getting something other than what we order and getting attitude for it! No offer of a refund but let me know many times it was my fault!!! read more

It's kinda a hole in the wall place but the food is good! I've only ever got take out but they do have tables if you want to eat inside. They will substitute brown rice for the usual white rice if you ask them to. read more

The food was tolerable, but the service was horrible. When I placed my order, the counter man said 25 to 30 minutes. Since it was Friday night, I figured it was going to be busy and I could wait. I paid with a credit card, and when I asked for an order number, the man said I didn't need one. He would remember my hat. The phone was ringing constantly, and every now and then, he would pick up the receiver and hang up. There were 11 customers in the waiting area, and after waiting 65 minutes, I walked to the front of the line and asked how much longer. He asked for my number. I said "remember my hat?" He said this must be yours. It had been sitting on the counter for about 15 minutes. When I got home (2.8) miles, it was cold. Never going back. Favorite Chinese food. Longer drive than one closer to home but I prefer it so that's my go to! Always fresh food, and good service in the few minutes I'm there picking up my food. Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! Walking in the place smelled rancid from the old oil, but because of high recommendations on this site (and because I didn't feel well and were in a hurry) we ate there anyway...don't bother, leave! My husband and I ordered two very different meals, but they looked and tasted the same. I saw the girl go from behind the counter to touching the food with her unwashed fingers. The worst place ever ! My cheese wontons were burnt and my shrimp toast was extremely hard and burnt I had to throw it away

They were closed in January due to "internal repairs" aka they were forced to close due a roach infestation. Gross!

I've only been here twice. Once I just got wonton soup and I was so happy that it was good. It's the first good wonton soup I've had in the area, so I came back with a friend and we had lunch and so far no complaints. The service is lovely and the first thing I noticed was that there were Chinese people on line ahead of me, which I thought was a good sign that the food would be good. I love Chinese food and was on the verge of giving it up until I found China Taste. I thought the chicken with mushrooms (moo goo gai pan) should have had a light sauce, not brown, but otherwise I haven't had anything bad so far. This place has the best food in the area! After moving to Lincoln a few years ago, I tried Chinese Food restaurants in both Milton and Milford. I had given up and stopped getting Chinese all together. When China Taste opened I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did! We have tried many different dishes and all have been excellent. Their wonton noodles are also very good. It is so hard to find good wonton soup! My daughter and I often get lunch there as the lunch deals are very affordable and fresh. Last Friday I was in the shopping center to visit the dollar store and China Taste was very crowded so I know I am not alone in my opinion of their excellent food. read more
