Of course, that didn't mean they were eager to leave ahead of time, it was all for the sake of preparedness. Alice, driven by Darvin, was magical. We experienced roads we've been on hundreds of times for the first time riding in her backseat. Darvin drove carefully and comfortably from John's Island to Downtown Charleston- about 45 minutes. The whole time we were enchanted by the starry sky, the breeze through our hair, and the era-appropriate jazz music playing through the radio. It truly was a cherry on top one of the greatest days of my life, and writing this review is the least I can do to remember it. While I didn't ride in the shuttle myself, it stuck out to me as unique and many of the guests appreciated both its convenience and the way it set the mood for the evening for our guests, allowing them to also meet one another before the event. Can't say enough good things about our experience with LowCountry Valet. Really hope we can find some reason to use their service again soon!

The admin assistant Donna contacted JCW with me present on Wednesday, Dec 4th for my pick up Friday Dec 6th at 11:30 am. She & I confirmed the date & time 3 times before she hung up the phone. On Friday, Dec 6th, when the limo had not arrived by 11:42am, I called & the owner answered saying he had my pick up for 1 pm. Donna who was there & I confirmed that we both were present when the pick up time was scheduled & we both heard him agree before we hung up. He apologized & said he would arrive in 40 mins to have me at the airport for my 2:30pm departure. He arrived at 1:14pm for a calculated 75 min trip to the airport. His wife was a passenger in the front seat & the back seat was so stuffed with hanging laundry that I had to keep one of my carry on bags on my lap because she had the front seat slid back allowing for no foot/floor space. He kept reassuring me that he would get me there on time & after weaving in & out of traffic he discovered he was running out gas & had to stop to refuel. The stopping & going was so fast & abrupt that it actually made me so nauseous that I had to open the window for fear of getting sick all over my bag & myself. I arrived just in time to board my plane but there was no room for my carry on luggage so it had to be checked at the last minute so during my layover I had to go to the luggage carousel to bring it onto my next fight. Although he verbally apologized he offered no discount. For an owner to declare that he's been in the limo business for 35 years...... shame on you for not documenting the correct pick up time, stuffing me & your laundry in the back seat as a paying customer & running out of gas during a transport. If you are truly sorry as you verbalized as a Christian man .... You would donate the $80 I paid, in an act of amends to the Mepkin Abbey for disgracing their trust in you as a preferred transporter.

He once said that he has an Android operating system implanted in his brain, and I don't even think he was joking! He is a perfectionist with a true passion for his job, which is reflected in every aspect of his product. He makes it very clear that his number 1 priority is to make your reception the very best that it can be, and he is committed to making that happen.
