I received a recommendation for how to find biological dentists in California. They responded to my request for a referral quickly & pleasantly. Too bad I don't live in Houston. My previous dentist ) and now Dr. Beaver (my husband's dentist) We moved to this area from 160 miles south about 10 months ago due to my husband's new job. The only friend that we had in the area recommended their practice and I am so glad they did. They will work with whatever time and/or day of the week is convenient for you, Trust Me! "Friday's is good for the Hill family" lol if for some reason they can't see you in case of an emergency they will find you a in network dentistry they are familiar with to see you that day (it only happened when I needed a root canal done that started to act up and I would have had to wait 2 weeks to see their in house orthodontist, that comes in once a month). I've had six procedures done and have all been very pleasant experiences. One of those procedures was the removal of my top two wisdom tooth, it was very quick and swift I was done within 45mns. They will show you all of your procedure options and won't try to persuade you to go with the most expensive option at all, but if you ask their opinion they will answer with what they think is best for you situation. They also make sure that you are comfortable first and foremost. My husband and I weren't able to take care of our dentistry needs before with the previous salary etc but now that we are able, we feel quite blessed that it is being taken care of by a group of professionals that truly know what they're doing, that use latest dentistry technology to help make the experience as pleasant and timely as possible without sacrificing quality, and that are sincere about what we needed/needs to be done. We're so pleased that we decided to have our two children ages 9 and 2 become patients as well, next door at My Kids Dentistry with Dr.Chance whom is just as profesional and caring as Dr.Alexander. I would recommend this dentistry to everyone.

1 Star - Extremely Frustrating Lack of Communication…read more Our experience with Rayford Modern Dentistry in Spring, Texas has become incredibly frustrating, not because of the amount of money involved, but because of the complete lack of communication regarding a refund we are owed. We were informed that our refund of approximately $280 was submitted for processing on June 11, 2026. We later spoke with Bill, who told us the refund check had been processed and would be mailed. It is now August 22, 2026 -- more than two months later -- and we still have not received the refund. More frustrating is the lack of communication. We have attempted to resolve this directly with the office, including communicating with Bill and Roxana and following up by phone, yet the matter remains unresolved. No check. No email. No letter. No returned phone call explaining what happened. No meaningful update. At this point, it isn't even about $280. It's about basic customer service and accountability. If there is a legitimate problem processing a refund, communicate that to the patient. Don't tell someone a check has been processed and mailed and then leave them chasing the office for months trying to figure out what happened. We have now had to escalate the matter beyond the local office and contact the practice owner and PDS Health leadership simply to try to get an answer about a relatively straightforward refund. We have given the office numerous opportunities to resolve this privately and professionally. Unfortunately, the continued lack of communication has left us extremely disappointed. I will gladly update this review if Rayford Modern Dentistry resolves the issue and provides an explanation for what happened. Until then, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office when it comes to billing/refund issues and communication.

I'm from a small town, moved to Houston and lived there for 25 years and never really found a dentist I liked. I had some pretty bad experiences with dentists that had high turnover rates and receptionist's that were too busy to get off their phone that I almost gave up. From the first visit with Dr. Dorrah, I knew this place was different. They greet you by name and make you feel like you've known them your entire life and they're affordable. I didn't have dental insurance and needed extensive work because of chronic health issues that affected my teeth/gums. From the first consultation, I was told, we're going to fix your smile and get you out of pain. I never felt rushed or judged for the condition of my teeth, only compassion. I can't describe how good that felt, especially if you've been living in pain with dental issues for so long. I was also moving out of state in a matter of months, and Dr. Dorrah's office was incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help me complete everything quickly before the move. They even have a dental membership plan that offset costs substantially, which was so helpful without insurance. Other dentists in the area only gave me one expensive plan. Dr. Dorroh listened to my needs, got me out of pain immediately and gave me several different cosmetic options that I could choose from and were tailored to what we could afford and need at the moment. He is gentle and I never had to raise my hand once because of pain in all my time seeing him. I'm now able to smile with confidence again, and live without teeth pain. Grateful is an understatement. I wish I would have went to him years ago. Their office is so charming/relaxing, appearing to be one of the older homes in the quaint and historic downtown Tomball area that's been converted into a state of the art dental office with a big parking area out back. It's clean and easy to find, but it's the staff that sets this place apart the most. You can tell Dr. Dorroh has put in a lot of work in making this place so beneficial to his patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and chatting with the doctor, Vickie, Mary Beth and everyone else. It seems everybody has been with him for years and really love and care about what they're doing...and it shows in every facet of your treatment. If you're searching for a dentist in Spring, Tomball, the Woodlands, Magnolia, NW Houston, etc, this is the one. Honestly, it's worth the drive no matter where you are in the greater Houston area. I live in Alaska now, but will continue to schedule appointments when I come home to visit.
