The first one he bragged no other dentist would…read moreconsider doing with my low of bone density but he talked me into it saying he was the "best". 7 years later and the implant has failed and my new dentist has told me after reviewing my original xrays it absolutely should not have been done in the first place. When having my second implant done, Dr Kim incorrectly inserted my IV causing pain all down my arm and keeping me from going to sleep. When I tried to alert him to this he told me to "shut up" or I would "ruin his good work." leaving me awake and in pain for the remainder of the procedure. The only saving grace was the nurse who put the gas mask on me every chance she got, leading to me telling myself I was just a car at the mechanic so the drilling into my face was standard procedure. I am still traumatised by this experience, leaving me shaking and crying for even the most basic dental cleanings. I have sat on this review of his horrible bedside manor wanting to believe he had at least been successful with a difficult case of an implant but now that I am having to spend time, money, and revisit trauma to have it removed it is more clear than ever Dr Kim cares more about his ego than his patients. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Aside from that, the first thing she said to me on my visit yesterday was "Are you on drugs?". The way she said it seemed accusatory and aggressive. I was stunned. Not only have I never taken illegal drugs in my life, it's presumptuous , offensive & unprofessional to make such a statement without knowing anything about my medical history or current prescription meds. I never filled out a recent medical history form before this visit. Perhaps she should have read it before launching into this question within 20 seconds of our encounter. I have untreated sleep apnea which leaves me groggy during the day, especially in the afternoon. This may attribute to slowness of speech. I also have issues with enunciation & had speech therapy as a kid. The visit devolved from there. She was abrupt & dismissive. No recommendations, treatment plan given. She told me she would reach out to the dentist to contact me to revise my changes. I have not received a call. So I am thinking, I paid cash up front and I get this type of subpar service. There were signs but they were subtle signs. I should have read the reviews. My question to her was why had I not received a text or voicemail when they first knew the dentist would not be there? Omega Dental on West Gray do not apologize because I leave the states in three days and I am stuck with less than three weeks of replacements. The quality of care is disappointing.
