Right before trying Gentle Touch I had gone to Smilecare and was told I needed a deep cleaning, a crown, 6 cavaties fixed and that I was having a problem with pockets in my gums. I was appalled as I had always been told I had good teeth... I openly scoffed at the assessment and told them to just do a regular cleaning and I would be on my way. The main dentist came and gave me an earful telling me I was making a mistake in not getting the work done. I told her I was going to seek out a second opinion. Cue the desperate move to change my insurance to a PPO. Two months later and now on PPO insurance I went to go to see Dr. Borowski who was recommended to me by my mother-in-law. Dr. Borowski said I had 1 cavity starting but I didn't have to get it fixed right away because it was small. She noticed I had a couple old Amalgam fillings and said she could replace them with the white non-toxic filling, if I wanted. But overall I didn't need a deep cleaning, I had no pocket problems, no crown needed, and only 1 minor cavity--not 6! On subsequent visits I have gotten my teeth cleaned, got the small cavity fixed and the amalgam fillings replaced. Each time I had positive dental experiences. She covered me with a fuzzy blanket if I got cold. She played relaxing music in the background. She numbed me adequately. She was very careful to make sure I couldn't feel anything before she started working. She didn't try to upsell us on anything. She was great.

She referred me to a local "Endo" who performed the root canal, but I not only returned to Singing Hills Dentistry for the new crown, but for a second on the adjacent tooth and come cavity work on one of my wisdom teeth. I was very impressed with Dr. Jamma and her staff at this dentistry. Everyone was very polite, had very good senses of humor, and were compassionate. Christina at the front desk was not only friendly, but also very thorough in explaining what my insurance covered and what I had to pay out of pocket. In other words, there were no surprises. Thank you Christina. Dr. Jamma was clear on what needed to be done to fix what needed to be fixed, she gave me options, and as the work was being completed, she not only took the time to explain what she was doing, she continuously asked if I was okay and if I felt any pain. That was very nice of her. Thank you! Gloria and Carla are Dr. Jamma's assistance and they are great. Gloria prepped the areas for Dr. Jamma. She was very friendly and gentle as much as one can be, in the line of work she is in. Carla, was tasked with removing the temporary crowns and setting the new ones. She was phenomenal with her job. She kept at it, until the permanent crowns were set comfortably in my mouth and did interfere with other teeth. I even stated to her that I liked the way she was a "perfectionist" in setting those crowns. She, too was very nice and friendly. Well done Carla. I also had the opportunity to get to know Debbie, the dental hygienist, who cleaned my teeth on my first visit. She was amiable and full of great advice regarding teeth cleaning. The office offers a nice waiting room with filtered water. I like the flat screens they have in the rooms with relaxing images and videos. I will be returning in about a month for further work and most likely another crown on a tooth that has a large chip. More to come.

I was honestly a little nervous walking in, but the staff immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. My initial exam was quick and thorough, and my first regular cleaning was surprisingly fast, easy, and completely painless. Since it had been so long, I also needed a deep cleaning. I expected it to be uncomfortable, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The dentist was exceptional--very skilled, gentle, and professional. She took her time, explained everything, and completed both deep cleaning appointments with virtually **no pain or discomfort**. I was impressed by how smooth the entire experience was. Everyone in the office was friendly, professional, and made each visit stress-free. I still have a few remaining treatments to complete, and I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend **Larry R. Pawl, DMD** and the entire team to anyone looking for quality dental care, especially if you've been putting off going to the dentist like I did. They made the experience far better than I ever expected.

I spent a long time searching for someone…read morewho has up-to-date technologies, whose office is handicapped-accessible (it's amazing how many places are not), and who understood dementia and knew how to work with those in the later stages. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Mansour and his staff. For openers, their prices for exams, X-rays, and cleaning were far and away the least expensive of all the dentists I contacted. They made sure my husband felt comfortable, and were very kind and patient. It turned out my husband's teeth were in bad shape, the front teeth having been ground down from chewing with them since he hadn't been wearing his dentures. Dr Mansour discussed several options for new dentures with me, but eventually concluded my husband would not react well to any dentures at all and recommended that the front teeth be built up instead, using that new light-activated polymer for fillings. It was by far the least expensive alternative of those we'd discussed, and painless. And ... my husband clearly really liked Dr Mansour and was perfectly happy to go back to see him when needed. (And yes, even in the later stages, an Alzheimer's patient can and will remember bad experiences -- boy, can they!!! -- and exceptionally good experiences, too.)

I called to see if I could shift my appointment and I received the most curt response back and she didn't even offer you put me on a cancelation list for the date I wanted until I asked her if there was one. Her response back was sorry we're booked and we can't help you. To say I called back in to ask questions about my new insurance plan and if they took it she also gave me the same attitude. I told her I didn't think she was very polite and I didn't appreciate her attitude. She told me if she didn't think calling me back was inportant than she wouldn't have done it. I just responded back well I should hope you job is important to you and you call people back or you would be out a job. The time before that I had to go back and forth with my insurance because of how the front desk was sending my xrays and codes for deep cleanings. They were rejected by my insurance company at least once posaabbly twice because of how the front office staff handled things. This lead to a lot of time spent on my side, insurance side and ultimately the offices side as well and a delay in my care because of thier lack of properly preparing things. I was placed as a last minute appointment, and did not realize I missed a call to me for patient documents and xrays before the appointment , also my husband set up the appointment for me and spoke with the office first ,I thought they had already collected my insurance info and all the pertinant info needed, so by the time i showed up 15 min early , i was under the impression this was taken care of. Doctor Prouse did not engage with me regarding my treatment , he talked over me to his hygienist, who was overall "nice", but really what I experienced was poor bedside manner, I asked for an estimated copay from front desk (Gaby), she said someone else would call me back with this info and they never did, I was told I needed a deep cleaning which is basically more money in their pocket, I have been regularly seen by my previous dentist and have never been recommended anything outside of a regular cleaning. I asked to opt for just a regular cleaning moving forward but the front desk refused to schedule me for it unless it was the deep cleaning, my husband and I both pay for good dental insurance , so I am wary of places that are only concerned about making money off of people. My mom is also a new patient and I am concerned for her well being and this office taking advantage of her. I much rather pay out of pocket to stay with my previous denist, as he is now out of my insurance network. I regret stepping foot in to this unprofessional establishment. On top of that, they wanted to charge me for a no show to an appointment they never confirmed with me. Just feels like a scummy dental office. I have also worked for 2 very great dentists , who have both now since retired, and bedside manner and customer service and patient care is what it should be about.
