Now, you can't get an appointment scheduled (until speaking to Dr. Meyer; the office staff would call me 15- 1hr before the opening to see if I wanted that slot, it takes me 45 mins. to drive there because I used to love this office and it used to be worth the drive/time) After my complaint to Dr. Meyer, she scheduled me at her earliest appt. 3.5 mos. out... My wife just drove to her office for her appointment, she was 8 mins. late (again driving all the way across metro Denver) 8 mins late. The office staff said she would have to check with the hygenist. The hygenist comes out and says, " I am SO SORRY. we gave your appointment away awhile ago since you never confirmed the appointment". So, what is it? Did you give the appointment away and the office manager was clueless to this and didn't say anything on the phone or you didn't want to do the job. It truly pains me to leave this review as I love Dr. Meyer, her pups, and family. I understand that after talking to Dr. Meyer that there are staffing issues that need to be worked out. Unfortunately it is time to find a new Office. I just can not anymore.

One morning while making breakfast,…read moreI accidentally spilled extra virgin olive oil on my shirt and didn't understand the consequences. Later in the day at my dentist appointment, the room tilted ever so slightly when I was informed of needing a new crown. My brain went blank except for the signal that fear and pain would be involved. However Dr. Erin Worthington put me at ease, and with her ever comforting and professional dental technicians, they fixed my tooth. Dr. Worthington is truly an excellent dentist, and she helped me calm down when I forgot to breath and stay calm. Awaiting the permanent crown, my ego has slightly deflated from feeling over confident and sassy from finding a new job and switching professions. Having extra nerves in my mouth doesn't help either because the need for many shots to feel numb is required, although one of my children has already pushed me in that direction with a sudden engagement. Yes accidental annointing and crowns go hand in hand. If the reader spills oil in such a manner, see your dentist right away. Your teeth will thank you and you'll re- learn the thrill of humility.

I have been a patient at Lowry Main Street Dental for approximately eight years and, until this…read moreweek, had never experienced a problem significant enough to warrant a complaint. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to find a new dentist. I went in for a routine cleaning and noticed that the hygienist spent most of the appointment cleaning the right side of my mouth. When she began polishing my teeth, I stopped her and asked whether she had cleaned the left side. She appeared unsure, then quickly cleaned part of the upper left side, but the lower left side was never addressed. The appointment continued with polishing, flossing, and fluoride treatment. After the fluoride wore off later that day, the difference was obvious. The right side felt thoroughly cleaned, while the left side--especially the lower left--did not. I called the office the same day and explained what had happened. I made it clear that I did not think it was intentional and simply wanted the missed area cleaned. The receptionist was kind and scheduled me for the following morning with a different hygienist, whom I had seen before and liked. Unfortunately, the follow-up appointment is why I am leaving. Instead of simply addressing my concern, the hygienist questioned what had happened and why I had not spoken up sooner, despite the fact that I had raised the issue during the original appointment and called immediately afterward. She also suggested that I would be charged for the additional cleaning, which I found surprising since I was only asking for a service I believed had not been completed. At one point, she reclined the chair, scraped my teeth, and pointed out that she was not finding plaque buildup. This made me feel as though I needed to prove that my concern was legitimate. She also told me she was going to document the situation in my chart because she was concerned I might not be satisfied with future cleanings. As someone who had been a patient for eight years without ever making a complaint, this felt unfair and unnecessarily defensive. The entire interaction left me feeling as though I was being treated like I was trying to get something for free or take advantage of the office, rather than a long-time patient with a reasonable concern. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed and questioned to the point that I was nearly in tears. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if the office had simply acknowledged the concern and corrected it. The missed cleaning is not why I am leaving. The lack of professionalism and customer service in handling the situation is. I have also noticed significant turnover among both the dentists and hygienists over the years, which has also been a concern for me. After eight years as a patient, I will not be returning.

As a new patient, they required multiple X-rays, panoramic imaging, and an exam before any cleaning could be done, which I later learned is fairly standard at many offices. However, after the exam I was told I needed a deep cleaning and several additional treatments that would cost thousands of dollars out of pocket. What bothered me most was not necessarily the diagnosis itself, but the way the treatment recommendations were communicated. The experience felt very abrupt and high-pressure, and I did not feel I was given enough explanation or time to process the recommendations before being presented with expensive treatment options. Patients should be aware that this office appears to follow a very aggressive treatment-planning approach for new patients. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions, requesting copies of your X-rays and periodontal measurements, and getting a second opinion before agreeing to extensive dental work.

I am not thankful. When I returned to speak to them about it, they said there was nothing that they could do because "these things happen" and "retainers break." I have had been to a handful of other dentists and no one has broken it. So now, I have a broken retainer that no one in Denver will fix because apparently orthodontists will not put on a permanent retainer for someone who is not their patient. PLEASE go somewhere else. This business is careless and does not clean up their mistakes.
