I am…read moreoverwhelmed by the kindness and patience that not only Dr. Doug showed, but also Susan his assistant as well. He listened to a lengthy update, really observed his behavior and decided that since my nephew likes to watch videos of himself, he had Susan video everything he was doing and showed it to him in between procedures. He also counted from 1-20 when examining his teeth because my nephew also loves numbers. I was holding him on my lap and his body was totally relaxed during the exam. Dr. Doug also put a note in his record so he would remember to count at the next visit as well. What a fantastic experience. EVERYONE should bring their children to see Dr. Doug....just a fantastic professional AND human being.

Our appointment was at 1:00 PM, and my children were in the dental chairs by 1:04 PM. Heather was incredibly sweet with them. It was my son's first time at the dentist, and even though he was scared and cried a little, she was very gentle and explained every step before starting a procedure. The doctor was also very soothing and took the time to explain the importance of brushing and flossing. My kids were so excited to receive a surprise toy and get to pick out their own toothbrushes. Five stars all the way! Our daughter actually looks forward to her appointments and looks forward to the fun atmosphere there. Upon leaving, kids get a token to use in an oversized gumball machine for a bouncy ball and she comes home with a new toothbrush that she chooses herself. The space is well lit and there are televisions throughout to entertain the young patients. All of the staff are friendly and try their best to make the children feel welcomed and are cheerful toward them. The staff is also efficient and honors very closely appointment times we have set in the past. Checkout is a breeze and future appointment are set based on what best works for you and your schedule. I mean, they're always really nice and courteous on the phone when I call to tell them my son has arrived for his appointment. If you think about it, the first person a patient/parent meets is the receptionist so they can make or break the mood of the appointment. No worries here ... receptionists are SUPERB and a pleasure to deal with. My son's appointment today was with Dr. Ari, his orthodontist. Dr. Ari has always been very open and honest with what needs to be done and what can wait to be done at a later time. He is very reassuring whenever I've had questions about when my son would need to get his braces in. My son actually had his braces put in the month before the pandemic began ... but Dr. Ari never skipped a beat. I got monthly calls to see how things were going and Dr. Ari even FaceTimed my son a couple of times to do virtual appointments to check on how his braces were coming along. Obviously during the period while the office was closed, things were hard but once the office decided to open back up, I got a call requesting to make an appt (if I felt comfortable enough ... which I was) for my son to go in and see Dr. Ari in person. I always recommend Dr. Charlie and Dr. Ari to anyone looking for a top-notch pediatric dentist and/or pediatric orthodontist.
