I woke up today and was…read morefeeling crappy from having a upper respiratory infection, took some medication and knocked back out again, this time when I woke up I was in pure pure pain, crying hysterically because my filling had fallen out (pictured) just a little hole caused me to have a migraine from the pain, so I'm frantically calling dentist trying to find the best price, I called This LOVELY dentist office and they assured me they could help me and got me in within the same hour, little did I know what I was walking into, initially I was very welcomed by the staff and they consulted with me about my anxiety disorder. she decided to double my lidocaine injections (there are multiple numbing agents to chose from) which had Epinephrine which is adrenaline which made me shake uncontrollably even more....Resulting in me freaking out, but I was reassured it was MY anxiety disorder causing the issue...... then I'm taken in for x-rays, then it's claimed my tooth cannot be saved (pictured) then after consulting amongst the receptionist (?) apparently my tooth could possibly be saved.... and boy did hell break lose here. SO I'm given two more injections in my mouth, then am told I will have to pay 300 for a root canal....okay, sure. So I go to pay the 300...then they tell me I have to pay 993 after the Root canal is done. Desperately my husband is trying to get my out of pain at all cost. I text him frantically and tell him what's going on, before Keaton could even respond I have papers put in my face to sign consenting to this procedure, I initial a section and ask what's going on and she says "we have to start we have to start, I need to do some kind of work to you" I SHIT YOU NOT THATS VERBATIM. At this point I'm laying flat on my back, Guys, this is where I really lose my shit and the exact reason I consulted about my ANXIETY DISORDER. I let everything else go convinced I was going to be okay and be fixed, anyways, so she's drilling drilling and BAM hits a nerve. I start crying uncontrollably, by this point the local numbing gel used or whatever the fuck it is has worn off, she sticks straight into my gum...I'm crying, crying and she's shaking my lip saying "It's okay it's okay" like I'm a 5 year old. I could tell at this point she was getting very upset with me. Another woman comes in and hands me a stress ball and sits down beside me, she hit a nerve 3 more times before I lost it, I'm SCREAMING at this point the lady assisting her is holding my hands down, so she can keep drilling. I'm still screaming and digging into this lady's arms with my finger nails to get her to let me go , between her sticking me in the gums, drilling and blowing cold air onto my nerves I'm just a ocean of tears. She tells me "we are done here I cannot continue" like I did something wrong. I even told her I would pay out of pocket for laughing gas to please just help me and her response was "I don't think that is necessary I'm closing you up" then drills more and finally I yell "I SAID IM DONE. STOP" and she's pissed and frustrated with me. Blows more cold air and shoves some type of cement shit where my nerves are (still in pain) then she injects me 2 more times for the pain I'll have when I go home....I'm sorry the pain when I go home? She told me to come back on Monday to finish my root canal with the "Head doctor". I didn't say 1 word when I got up. I went straight to the desk, and asked "is it okay if I vape, I don't really know what's in my tooth or what's going on with it?" SHE SAYS VERBATIM "No you can't, but it's not like you're going to stop anyway." she charged me 993 dollars and I paid it. I was so distraught I was going through this on and off for 2 1/2 hours. She prescribed me antibiotics and 800 MG ibuprofen. Monday I will not be returning, but going to Keatons dentist, so now I am home, hoping this thing that has turned my tooth black (pictured) doesn't fall out and all over upset and petrified to return to any dentist Monday. Ultimately my tooth cannot be saved, and these people did a "root canal" for absolutely no reason. I'm petrified for Monday.

Today, I went in for a cleaning. I checked in and waited about ten minutes before heading back with Christina who was also my hygienist about six months ago. She did a great job again and tried to be as careful as possible. Asked me a couple of times if I was alright, and I was fine. At the end of every cleaning, Dr. Ahn comes in, asks me how I'm doing, checks my teeth and the cleaning job, and asks me if I'm having any dental issues.

I had never had my teeth pulled before so I had no idea how horrid of a choice that was on his part. So he was only able to pull one of the teeth and then he got to the second bottom right wisdom tooth and couldn't pull it out normally at which point HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE PROCEDURE, but instead he decided to start cutting into my bottom right wisdom tooth while I'm still totally 100% awake and he is using nothing but local anesthesia, long story short it took him 3.5 hours to extract 2 wisdom teeth total! It took me multiple weeks and a ton of pain and PTSD related symptoms from being put through such a horrendous experience. The so called 'medical assistants' that he has working for him could not or would not pay attention and do their jobs well enough to keep all the blood from running down my throat and onto the front of my shirt, my husband was HORRIFIED when he saw the state I was in after they were done hacking at my mouth for 3.5 hours regardless of how many times I begged them to please stop yet he refused to do so. I am writing this review so that potential patients know the risk they will be taking if they choose to use this dental practice in any capacity. I can only speak to my personally terrifying experience and God only knows I WISH I were making this up bc it really should never have happened to me and I hope it never happens to anyone else. There was a little confusion with the insurance, but they were patient enough to get it straightened out instead of sending us to collections like some people... *coughemorycough* They're out of network for us, so each procedure is a little pricier than it could be, but my husband has come out of both extractions with minimal pain (motrin only!) and swelling and raves about the guy. I should note here that my husband is NOT usually complimentary of dentists and oral surgeons due to some very sour past experiences, so the fact that he genuinely likes this guy is quite a feat! The office is convenient and comfortable, and is right up from a Target with a pharmacy. The staff is also willing to take down a phone number if a patiently waiting wife finishes her book and wants to run to Michael's crafts to go on a bead bender...

Neither of them were very polite, comforting, nor compassionate to someone that can't eat or sleep because of how bad my teeth hurt. I told the first that it hurt so bad that I couldn't eat or sleep and she giggled and said "okay our soonest availability is in two weeks". No regard for how bad I was hurting. I told the second woman that I was quoted ~$1000 for the actual surgery and $130 for the consultation before hand and she told me it'd be $270 for the consultation and at least $3000 for the surgery. When I was obviously upset after my parents had to pull that money out of our emergency savings just to be told the amount we expected tripled, she had NO sympathy and said "well what do you want me to do? Cancel your appointment??". Yes, cancel a surgery I need without any thoughts of guilt or sorrow for a college kid without insurance. Yes ma'am, that's what I want. Yes, these women gaves me facts and accurate information but poor dental health can be lethal and they didn't give a care in the world to my concerns or fears. Maybe Dr Osborne is cool but his staff needs a serious change in customer care. If I manage to get insurance, I will not be coming to this place.

On September 29, 2021, I went to my very first appointment at this dental office. When I checked in…read morewith the receptionist for my 1 p.m. appointment, she asked for my Driver's License (DL) even before she gave me any paperwork to fill out. When I asked for the reason, she initially told me it was needed to verify my appointment. Then she informed me that a copy of it was needed to have on file and to verify the information on the patient forms. Before I handed her my DL, I told her that she could not make a copy of it but that she may use it to verify my appointment and the information on the forms when I fill them out. She repeated that a copy was needed on file for future references. But, I emphatically told her that she could not make a copy. I stated that government agencies advise people to exercise caution when providing personal information and to not hand over DL or Social Security Card when it is not necessary due to rising cases of identity theft. But, she insisted that it was needed for insurance purposes. Again, I told her not to make a copy. Plus, when I made the appointment, I stated that I would be paying out of pocket instead of with insurance. Despite my concern for privacy and without having my consent, the receptionist surreptitiously put my license on the scanner while I looked away at my phone. However, I caught her taking it out of the scanner just as I looked up. When I asked her if she had just made a copy, she answered--"No, I scanned it"--with a smirk. My instinct told me that this establishment could not be trusted. Despite my intense toothache, I immediately told her that I was cancelling my appointment. Better safe than sorry. She then proceeded to slide my license under the patient forms on a clipboard instead of handing it back to me and placed the clipboard behind the scanner as if I would not notice. When she realized that I was on to her game, she reached in and took out the license. Her actions and body language spoke clearly to me that this establishment could not be trusted. I asked to speak with the office manager who turns out was present the whole time I was interacting with the receptionist. I explained that my license was scanned without my consent and that I would like to have it deleted from the computer. To which, the receptionist stated that I had given her the consent--what a liar!!! What kind of place is this? Without addressing my concern, the office manager told me that a copy of the driver's license was needed for insurance purposes. However, I was not nor will ever be their client, therefore, my license was not needed. But, my concern fell on deaf ears. What are they going to do with my license? Are they going to use it for insurance fraud? Receptionist, along with the manager, is the face of this establishment. With such people, who clearly lack integrity, customer care, and professionalism, one can't but question if Duluth Dental and Dentures is a trustworthy place. If they can't show decency and respect when I first walk in to their office, how can I trust this dental office with the care of my teeth, health, and personal information? Based on the dishonest behavior of the receptionist and the lack of professionalism of the office manager, something in this establishment is very much amiss. If you are looking for a new dentist, I would think twice before visiting Duluth Dental and Dentures. Better safe than Sorry!!!

Two days of reading reviews for Endodontist in my area and things weren't looking good. I came across Soft Touch Endodontics and decided to give them a try based on their name. I drove almost a hour to get to their Suwannee office and from the time I walked through the door I felt like I had made a good choice. The office is beautifully decorated which aided in calming me somewhat and Camila was just a kind and pleasant as she was when I called to make my appointment. I was escorted to the examination room, had routine blood pressure (which was extremely high due to my anxiety) and temperature taken and X-rays of the tooth needing treatment. Dr. Davis came in and introduced herself and thanked me for choosing their office. Dr. Davis gentle touch, soft voice and friendliness immediately made me feel safe in the chair and confident that I was in the right place. She throughly explained what steps I needed to do next. I left feeling calm and pain free. Thank you Dr. Davis and your wonderful staff for making me feel welcomed and especially for eliminating the anxiety I usually have during dental appointments. After going to the DMO dentist and being told that I needed all sorts of unnecessary work done on my teeth, I ran, not walked, back to Dr. Israel for proper dental care. Although at this point I am paying out of pocket for my dental care, I would rather do this and be secure in the knowledge that I'm getting the best dental care available, from a courteous and caring staff to a highly skilled dentist. "Be true to your teeth, or they'll be false to you", as my grandfather used to say. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Israel's care.

I have been a patient for 6 months now. During these 6 months, I had 2 visits for tooth pain (one…read moreof my back tooth had a hole in it and it almost got to the nerve so it hurt soooooo bad), and a root canal (which solved the tooth pain). Michelle at the front desk was very nice, and she always called me to confirm appointments, or when an earlier appointment was available. I had a very great root canal experience here (this was my first root canal). Dr John Birch performed the root canal. It took about 2 hours in total, and I had a temporary crown put in. I will come back in 1 week for the permanent crown. Dr Birch was great and I highly recommend him to everybody. I heard horrible stories about root canal procedures all the time, including pain afterwards and infection etc. Now it is 10 days after my root canal and I did not have any pain or infection (my jaw felt sore the first day after the root canal). Dr Birch constantly confirmed if I was feeling fine during the procedures, and I did not have to keep my mouth open all the time. He let me close my mouth every once a while so my jaw would not kill me after the numbness wore out. One thing I would like to mention is that Dr Birch only works here on Tuesdays and he is the only dentist that works on root canal. So if you come for a root canal, be prepared for the wait as his schedule might be busy. They do not have private rooms, meaning that everybody can see you once they get in the facility (not including the people in the waiting room). This doesn't bother me much, but I would definitely prefer a private room. Hence only 4 stars. It is a small practice with more of a family feeling here. I recommend Northside Dental to everybody.

We moved away for a few years and had to go to a different dentist in Savannah, and they messed up my husband's teeth. When we came back to Northside Dental we felt we were in good hands again. I recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist they can depend on. We continue to come here even when we move to different cities around Atlanta. They are truly a great team.
