My husband and I were very upset at the prospect of starting with a new doctor however when we met Dr Aldrich we were extremely happy because he has the same type of personality as our previous doctor. What I love about him the most is he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or scared, he tries to look at the symptoms and take the easiest treatment to see if it works. He is always available, very compassionate and easy to talk to. My husband is a difficult patient, but Dr Aldrich knows exactly how to deal with him. If you want a Doctor Who has that small town bedside manner with years of experience then this is the doctor for you. His nurse Paula is incredible and always available if you have a problem. During this Covid crisis we did several telehealth Zoom appointment and it went very well. He said, well I did have some problems threatening the line so I may have caused some micro bleeds. Let me wrap your arm in coban and leave it on for 48 hours and then you should be fine. I barely slept that night due to pain. The next morning I had to unwrap because it swelled so bad. I headed to the ER. I had a blood clot in my arm. Lucky me it has been 6 months and it is still there just grown into the wall which now makes me prone to future blood clots.

My experience with him started when my favorite doctor left town and I had to find another doctor. He was the only one available within Carson Tahoe, and with some hindsight I should've just switched to a different practice entirely. I knew Carson Tahoe was bad and only cares about money, but watching this doctor and his staff develop into that model has been pretty bad. The referrals and follow ups are a rough start to boot. He has referred me to so many places that have never called, never gotten a referral, and don't even know who I am when I call. I have a problem that requires a dermatologist and he referred me to a practice I had never been to before even though I have a dermatologist. Let me guess, if I want the referral corrected I have to make an appointment? Which leads me to: My biggest issue with his practice is that no matter the issue, no matter how trivial, he will not solve any issue without an appointment. It doesn't matter if you were in that day, or the day before, or a week ago. It's not like I miss my yearly appointments, I see the doctor several times a year because of my conditions. One would think if I had a reasonable request like, "can we increase my anti-depressant strength", that we could solve that issue without the need for an appointment a couple weeks after the follow up appointment to another appointment one month ago. Every single issue I have, his MA Aiden and himself have always responded with, "Make an appointment". It's getting old and he clearly does not value our time and only cares about the visit billing. *Update: His office must have taken offence to my review, they sent me a certified letter that I cannot go to eagle medical center because of "non-compliance". I had to explain to him why I was there and he said there wasn't anything he could really do to help me. I was in and out in 15 minutes and out again around $250. I asked for a refund and they denied it but offered me a $50 refund. I accepted but I had already triggered the bill pay because the refund offer didn't come for three months. I was making payments and they said they would adjust the payment schedule. they didn't. Now they owe me that $50 refund they offered and billing has ignored me for almost two months. One young man in billing hung up on me and I suspect he is responsible for the failed attempt at my refund. My doctor was terrible. Very unprofessional! After this long a time trying to get my refund, I have to say thay are a practice without integrity and downright dishonest.
