I visited this store once to get a spoke and it took 10 minutes for them to find it. The eventually did which was great but it shouldn't take that long. These guys know bicycles well and have been extraordinarily helpful with advice on my old 1956 Schwinn as well as my more modern bicycles. Weirdest experience I've had in any business. I walked into the store and there are three employees behind the counter and all three completely ignore me until I walk right up to their faces and call out a greeting. Stopped in to purchase a bike pump, only had one to chose from. Bought it then started looking at a new bike. Gave one a try. When I came back in, the person made some adjustments for me. I then took another ride. Came back from the second ride and stood there waiting. One customer at the counter, 5 employees and we continued standing there with the bike. Finally gave up. My kid wanted a new bmx bike and they have a very big selection compared to other bike shops in the area. After 2 months there was a small problem with the bike and Rich took care of it no problem. I drive past this bike shop in route to work. Knowing I wanted to purchase 4 bikes for my family, I made a mental note to shop here first since it is a "bike shop". I am black and it was QUITE obvious I was not welcome. In fact, three of the four employees attitude was clearly refusal of service. A very nice young man finally came to service us after noticing no one else would. If you are BLACK, do NOT spend your GREEN money here! We received the same racist stares from other white customers in the store. WHAT? Is this not the 21st century?! I immediately left with my GREEN money and spent it where I AM a customer and NOT the color of my skin. read more

I bought a bike from them 6 years ago. I had trouble with the brakes for a few years but was too proud to bring it in and tried to fix it myself. After a few failed attempts and a season or two of limited riding, I brought it in. They handled it professionally, got a new set of brakes, got my bike fixed asap and didn't charge me a dime. Crookes! After spending $3000 I ordered another bike from them, and the bike was a pre-order and not out until 4 months later. During this time I was in horrible car wreck "rear ended by an 18 wheeler" and had to go through lengthy rehabilitation. I kept in contact with the store letting them know I still wanted the bike multiple times and told them about my wreck. Fully recovered and got my huge settlement. Called the store and told them I will pick it up next week and they said they sold it! No official letter in the mail saying they are going to sell it, no voice mail. Keep in mind I was a good paying customer. I said okay, well can I get my deposit back or store credit? "NOPE" We gave the person that bought your bike your money "Rude" I see the owner only care about money not their customers. I'm a business owner too! If one of my customers was in a life threatening wreck I would hold their per-order until they came in. Hell I would have visited them in the hospital, but then again greed over rules. It's more bike shops around that I'm sure they will love sharing my $20 million dollar settlement. I'll make sure I tell my fellow riders and share this with my 4800 Facebook friends and BBB. I know BBB can't do anything, but letting others know won't hurt. I see business go out of business like this all the time. Thanks Richard and Adam. read more

I brought my scooter there to have the tires changed the other day. The staff was friendly and communicative. The price for labor was very affordable, and they even cleaned the wheels for me so the scooter looked better than when I dropped it off. All in all, I highly recommend this place. i recently purchased a mountain bike , was told i would receive the bike in 10 working days.i received the bike 25 days later ,without one update about why . they also stated they were going to e-mail me a tracking number .never receive # . bike was sitting in front of house when i got home from work, i was lucky it was not stolen.i also had a problem with one of the parts a rear shock , when i called them about it they me to deal with the manufacturer. very poor customer service! read more
