If you're not familiar with Greenwich Avenue on the weekend, make extra time to find parking. We were greeted by John (the one and only employee here). He was so down to earth but very knowledgeable with suits. He gave us a breakdown on customization and what he recommends. He was very honest with us about everything and let us know about the tailor down the street. This being said, he told us to come back earliest would be mid-September and latest would be at the end of October due to measuring. They want to get the exact fit so you don't need alterations. We will definitely be coming back to get his suit here. I brought up Men's Wearhouse but we both agreed that Indochino was cheaper in price but the suits are so much nicer and more unique due to customizing everything. We're looking forward to the process later in September!

I visited Indochino for a custom suit for my wedding more than a year before the date, which I…read morethought would allow ample time to have the suit made and shipped. At that initial visit, I was told that it was a little early to look for a suit, and I should come back 3-4 months prior to the date to plan (mistake number one). Fast forward to about 8 months later (four months before the wedding). When I arrived, neither of the associates seemed interested in helping to select fabrics or finishes. I understand there is some personal preference and style that makes a suit, but I was asking for a bit of help and didn't seem to receive it. When it came to measurements, that was a completely different story (mistake number two). I had come with my partner for the initial selection and consult, and when our suits were delivered, our measurements must have been mixed up a bit. His suit fit relatively well--the pants were a little big, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed easily. My suit, however, seemed to have some of his measurements and some of mine. My crop top vest was probably the most comical item I had received (I'm about 6 inches taller than my partner). We returned to the store and the associate (who was different than the one measuring us) apologized and measured me again. The original suit couldn't be salvaged, so a new suit was ordered. I was assured it would be made and delivered with time to spare (mistake number three). We felt comforted by his confidence though, and we needed white shirts for the big day, so we ordered custom white shirts at that visit also (mistake number four). Five days before our wedding, I hadn't received my new suit and we hadn't received our shirts. FIVE DAYS!! I tried to track the shipment through DHL as well as through Indochino and neither one could locate our items (I can't even remember what mistake number I'm on at this point). Indichino said it was in customs in Ohio; DHL said it never received the item in China! The solution was to wait and hope. Four days before the wedding, the suit showed up at my door. Two days before the wedding, the white shirts showed up. The measurement for the suit was correct, but the white shirts couldn't be buttoned they were so tight...thankfully they were just white shirts! We spent $300+ on shirts and needed run to a local store in the midst of last minute wedding planning. Needless to say, it was all unnecessary. Indochino customer service was unapologetic and didn't offer a refund, store credit, or any other consolation for the mismanagement, additional stress, or ill-fitting garments. I was disappointed in the care I received as well as the overall product. Maybe there are some locations of this brand that offer better service, but I'd stay away from this branch.
