Today was my 3rd or 4th time going to Richa. I was looking for someone who does eyebrow threading for $10 or less in Baltimore county and it's $10 here! Richa has been very sweet and professional every time. She has never messed up my brows (for those of you that are afraid to try a new threader who would ruin your brows). Take a chance here! The last time I came here, Richa told me I should get a deep cleaning facial. Some people might take that comment offensively, but Richa was looking out for me!!! I got a facial this time with my eyebrow threading and it was SO worth it. My skin has never been so bright and my NOSE HAS NEVER BEEN SO SOFT! It was very relaxing as well. If you struggle with blackheads, this is the place to go. $50 for a deep clean facial? You can't go wrong. Richa always has the best intentions and has never disappointed me. My first experience with Richa was honestly good. She was fast, polite and everything was up to par. However, the second trip was bit disappointing (and painful, ouch)! I arrived a bit before my time and patiently sat in my car, waiting for the shop to open. Richa pulled up a bit after me. I watched her go in and turn on everything. It was my time and I got out and walked in. Richa stared at me for a couple of seconds and I immediately felt that she was a bit irritated. Maybe because she wasn't finished setting up, or she just wasn't having the best morning. But I was there literally at my scheduled time. I didn't mind waiting at all, but after that initial greeting, it felt a bit awkward. Anyhoo, the threading this time around was a bit harsh and honestly quite painful. I was looking for a new eyebrow place and saw some good reviews for Richa's on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I didn't make an appointment although they do take appointments online. I was a walk-in that day. When I arrived to the establishment there were no other customers. The shop was clean and well lit. I asked for brow service and was seated immediately. It took less than 10 minutes and my eyebrows looked amazing. She also filled in my eyebrows to add a tail as they are short, and I think that was a nice touch as I didn't ask for that. Richa mentioned some of the other services that they offer highlighting her brow customized brow tinting. I really appreciated the customer service and I will be returning. read more

I've been choosing threading over waxing for about five years, but I recently moved across town and was searching for a new artist. She left hair in obvious places and barely touched my brows after I said something twice. Upon arrival, I thought things were gonna be great! She seemed nice at first (but she really isn't - you could tell it's fake). My eyebrows are thick and full. I explained I wanted a boxed shape with sharp lines. I also asked not to separate between my brows too much and not to cut off my tails (as ppl tend to do). She allowed me to explain but throughout the experience I began to feel like I was an annoyance? She was quite forceful in directing & did not seem like she truly wanted to satisfy my request. She would ask me to look but then when I'd say what I want, she barely did what I asked. After leaving, I felt like I got a mediocre cleaning. Hair was still there! In places that were "cleaned". I am super sad because my birthday is tomorrow & my brows are not sharp at all. I guess it was better than getting my eyebrows botched. If you have specific interests in what you like, I would not recommend going to her. She plays it safe & isn't really the nicest. Plus! She didn't trim my hairs at the end. I've been going to the European Wax Center for a bit of time, but due to their recent price increase, I had to find another salon. I am so happy that I made the switch. Richa is super sweet, and she provides exceptional customer service. I didn't get my eyebrows threaded during that visit, however, I noticed that she takes great pride in the work that she does. She took the time to make sure that she shaped each customers eyebrows to properly fit their face, while giving each person a more than satisfactory customer experience. I tried giving this place 2 chances since it has such high reviews. The first time I went she made me bleed from a lip wax burn. She asked if I had a pimple or a cut and I did not but I chalked it up to my sensitive skin and thought it probably wasn't her fault. The second time I came in this lady literally ripped off half of my eyebrow. The left side is twice as thin as the right!!! Not to mention the wax was wayy too hot once again and the other brow wasn't even fully clean. She didn't trim or tweeze any hairs either. My brows are already small and shaped so I just wanted a clean up and now I have noticeably botched brows. On top of all that, she's a little rude. Worst experience with bikini waxing!! She was late to the appointment, didn't start on me for another 20 minutes after my appointment time. The wax was NOT ready/NOT hot so it was sticky, clumpy and messy, which made the waxing very uncomfortable. AND there was still hair left after all the pain I endured!! She then upcharged me even though I expressed to her/showed her receipts that I had pre-scheduled months ahead and the price "due" was already set when I made the appointment. Overall, I personally will NOT be going back and I am sad to even have to write this when I thought it was going to be a great experience. read more

Came here for the first time. Wanted to try and support local business. Went on my bday Booked for eyebrow threading and haircut. She did not consult with me before starting my eyebrows. When it was time to do my hair I thought a wash came with a haircut and I asked if I could get one after mentioning I didn't wash my hair before coming. She seemed surprised and annoyed to give me a shampoo and condition. I made sure to ask if it wasn't a problem and she agreed but her attitude said otherwise. My bad for assuming but most places do..but NOT THIS ONE.... She washed my hair with cold water and treated me like a long haired dog and made rude offensive comments such as my hair was dirty and that my hair would fall out if I couldn't maintain my hair? She caused so much friction during the washing and drying process that she couldn't detangle my long/ medium thick hair. She yanked and pulled so hard I could hear my hair breaking. She couldn't even do sections without ripping my hair out. It was so hard for me to watch in the mirror basically tearing up by how harsh she was treating my hair and causing my hair damage. I couldn't shutup any longer and basically said wtf lady. I had to comb my own wet hair. She made sure to clean the comb of my hair before handing it to me She is so incompetent, had zero common sense on my type of hair. I did not come in the salon with my hair tangled. I seriously do not know what was so hard about a wash. She just charged me for the threading which was not even satisfactory. They were not symmetrical. One thinner than the other. I'm pretty fucking pissed. First time going to do some self care since the pandemic started and after having a month old baby and I get this shit. read more

Whole Face Threading... I was a newbie to the whole threading world. Did my research. I was thinking about doing the laser removal; however results can range from good to horrible when your African American or have pigmented skin tones. Sooooo after reading reviews of Threading salons throughout Baltimore counties to Baltimore City I made my decision to call and take the venture to Parkville, Maryland which ended up being a 10 minute travel from my place of residence. I drove past it at first it sits right on the end across from St. Ursula School so there's a landmark for us ladies that get confused by street names. A nice comfortable environment inside, not over crowded with stylist and customers running around. They do have privacy rooms if your preference is not to be serviced in the salon area. I had about a 10 minute wait, another customer was being serviced; I took a 3 minute ride down to Dunkin Donuts grabbed a coffee and sat. Customers were friendly, Richa kept me engaged as well, so the time went by quickly. It's a place to go and relax so sitting a minute prior to being serviced actually had me even more comfy... The entire process took maybe 10 minutes. Richa was gentle, explained everything as she went along and gave me instructions being a "threading virgin" that I was... Well my cherries popped, I'm satisfied and will be a regular customer. Richa deserves extra stars. The next day she sent me a text letting me know that she appreciated my business; mentioned info we discussed which let me know it wasn't just some random text she sends out to everyone... I appreciated that. Note it is a full service Salon in addition to threading, waxing, massages, and more... A nice blend of people.. Honestly idek where to begin! I rarely leave reviews, but Richa deserves one million stars. She is so kind and she takes her time, she's a perfectionist and it shows in her work. I walked in and didn't even realize I was speaking to the owner the whole time lol. I told her how I wanted my brows and she basically took my description and delivered something so much better. The look I wanted lacked definition so she gave my brows more definition and still kept them on the fuller side. I also got them tinted which she did a wonderful job at as well. Other places I've gone to don't leave the dye on for long and I always assumed that was the norm but Richa was patient and kept the dye on for 35 min (and would've let it sit for an hour even!) just to achieve the perfect look. You can't beat it and the she is very nice making it the least painful experience I've had when it comes to threading.
