The eyelash tint was a little uncomfortable for me but this may be because I was wearing contacts. I probably would take those out next time and maybe even consider a lift and tint since the tint by itself looked nice but was really subtle. Kayla made me feel very comfortable for the spray tan and did an excellent job with the color and tone. I was obsessed! It definitely faded a bit after the third or fourth day but to be fair, I was on vacation and swimming in the ocean and pool a lot. All together the services were $65 which I don't think is bad at all. I'd definitely return and would recommend booking at this local biz!

I show up to the appointment and was immediately told I have no appointment in the system and that the waxer only works on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Mind you, I was there for my appointment on a Monday at my scheduled time. The front desk associate then said the threading services are separate from the waxing and that she would have to call her manager to confirm my appointment. She calls him and he asks to speak to me. He is very aggressive and loud in stating that I never had an appointment scheduled and he texted me the confirmation that I manually cancelled it. The picture he texted was for another individual named Ashley Bowers, not my name China D. He did not apologize during the entire call. He just said I will have to come back in another week when the waxer is there. He said he would call me in 10-15 mins after our call to get in contact with the waxer to make special accommodations because of their error. Of course it is now 4 days later and I have yet to receive a call. This business is complete trash, unprofessional and I will NEVER return here.

She made me feel grotesque and foolish before even asking about my history or what my gender journey has been like - instead she just "couldn't believe I had been walking around looking like that". I've felt never felt so disrespected by someone who was supposed to be administering me care. I contemplated just leaving right then and there, but I thought she would've insulted me further by charging me a cancelation fee on top of the humiliation. Instead of apologizing, she continued to double and triple down on what she had said throughout the session, especially once she learned that my occupation is as a visual merchandiser in a clothing store. I was recently diagnosed with Dermatographic Urticaria - which is a condition that is also known as skin drawing - which makes shaving a very difficult and painful process. I have a lower pain tolerance and used a numbing cream a few hours before hand on the right side of my face - as I have had previous electrolysis treatments on that side. I told Stacey this, but she insisted that she work on both sides of my face, even after I told her I would prefer not to because of my pain tolerance. She also told me that I made her feel bad for crying after she insulted me. Stacey claims to be a 'Trans Ally" but if she really was, she never would have treated me the way that she did.

I have never had such excellent care and concern with a dermatologist. Whenever I purchase a new product I share with Dr Huang to make sure my skin won't react. She never has an issue and always gives her honest feedback and suggestions. I AM SOOOO HAPPY I found Dr Amy Huang and will never switch.
