After searching for the best cheesesteak in Spring Hill, I landed here. I ordered 2 subs, small fry and 1 calzone so we would have enough left over for dinner. First off my cheesesteak sub was delicious. But, the rest of the order was somewhat a disappointment. The fries were old and cold and I waited a long time for my order. The meatballs on my husband's sub looked and tasted burnt. The calzone was very good, but the sauce definitely tasted burnt which ruined the taste of the calzone. Unfortunately, we didn't have any marina in our pantry. It is so disappointing to get home and your food isn't worth what you paid for it, plus I included a tip on my to go order. The food here is awesome. The menu is pretty big even though it takes up a relatively small amount of paper. You can order any number of sandwiches, burgers and other food and have it customized easily. They also have sodas, a variety of sides and hard scoop ice cream. The price is not cheap. A family of four with drinks and fries will probably have to pay $60-80 for a decent meal. You can economize, but if price is a concern you should probably just go to Publix and grab the ingredients to cook yourself for a fraction of the money. The dining area is not fancy, but it is kept clean. The staff is nice though the ordering process tends to be a bit slow. Bottom line: the food here is great. You're not going to find a better cheesesteak in the Spring Hill area. read more

The Cuban pizza was just phenomenal! I've tried it before at Lazy Moon in Orlando but Richie's is better! Yours has move cheese, more toppings and excellent deli pickle slices. And the salted caramel cheesecake, OMG. I expected just a slice with some caramel drizzled over it but this has actual salted caramel flavored cheesecake marbled together with regular cheesecake and then a caramel topping over it all. We have been going to Richies for years. It has always been great. Unfortunately the quality of food preparation is going downhill fast. Last night we spent $50 on 6 wings, a cheesesteak, a bag of fries that were so greasy that the brown bag they came in was dripping, and a $10 burger. No toppings on the burger, no condiments on the burger, just a burger on a stale bun. This is the result of hiring kids to cook food that was once good. Location isn't bad, lots of parking and right off Deltona. First impression with decor was nice and clean! We were immediately greeted upon arrival. Service was kind! The wait time was not to bad either. The food itself was delicious! We really enjoyed their chicken fingers! It was made when ordered and the wait was about 15 minutes. Out comes this piping hot order of a fresh philly hoagie and the best fries I've had in a long time. Hand cut potatoes, salted just right and HOT. My daughter devoured those. The steak was slice nice and thin, however, it was a great grade of meat. The cheese so gooey and bread was not the best, but soft. I like mine a little crispy. What's Interesting about Richie's is the plethora of toppings for your philly and fries!
