Shout out to Kat. If anyone more deserving of a generous Tip, this Gal does. She was friendly , personable and was on it... all a while serving 8 tables 2 of which 4 and 6 ppl. She knew we wanted ranch and a to go cup. She must read minds cuz I didn't have ask...she just brought it. That's service Food was massive. Ordered the Manhattan with tater tots and I barely could finish eating half of my samich. Hubs ordered the French dip with big hefty cut fries. Now that French dip had a lot of meat and thickly sliced too spilling off the soft bun! Drinks never emptied...she was there before your straw sucked air. I really liked how they gave you a little basket filled with a variety of teas. Also you had a mini carafe of extra hot water...that's a classy ..you don't even get that at Denny's . The only thing I gave one less start is that the grease that the tots and the fries were fried in tasted really old but I still ate my tots... Definitely a good place to try out.

We rode out to Richie's at Ryan field for breakfast a couple of Sundays ago. We had super friendly service by 2 different lovely young women. I apologize I should have written down their names, maybe you'll forgive me as I'm old. I also didn't take any pictures to share. I will do that next time! The food and service was very good, the view of the Concorde landing next to you window is pretty darn good too! Actually it was fun to watch the private plane guys roll in for their Sunday am coffee and breakfast as well. Hey its not fancy but with a friendly staff and good breakfast food why not try it out when you are way out on west Ajo rd?

I've seen the signs for the past couple of years, and I always thought it was inside the airport or something. I do not claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed. Finally stopped in to check out. I'm glad I did. Nice interior with plenty of seating and views of the flight line. Clean restrooms and dining area, with counter seating Super friendly young lady (Isela) hope I got that right, who was very helpful with the menu. I was heading out, so I grabbed a breakfast burrito to go. I did extra crispy bacon for the meat choice. Burrito was huge, packed with potatoes and cheese. Came with salsa. Overall, the burrito was decent, a little bland for me. I was not a fan of the salsa. I think if I had some different salsa or something to spice it up, it would have been better. Will check out again as it adds an option to our side of town other than McDonalds.

Richie's Cafe lived up to my expectations, decent food and friendly service with a view of the airport. I had a club sandwich and it was good, packed with ham and turkey with lettuce and tomato on fresh bread. We also ordered a pancake with sausage. The pancake was delicious and well prepared. The coffee was standard cafe/diner coffee, okay but on the weak side for me. I definitely see us going back.

Not super cheap,…read morebut good food and fast service, and the atmosphere is wonderfulThe establishment offers a straightforward and enjoyable experience. Its welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal destination for casual outings. Patrons consistently find the services provided to be of high quality. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before our server, Diana, came to take our drink order. After placing it, there was another extended wait before we saw her again. While she was assisting another table, I asked about our drinks, and she mentioned she would be right with us, but it was still quite a while before they arrived. Once we received our drinks and placed our food order, service became very limited. When our food was delivered, both my stepson and I had empty drinks, and there was no acknowledgment or offer for refills. I had to ask, which shouldn't typically be necessary. We also requested pico, which took additional time to receive. Throughout the rest of the meal, there were no check-ins to see how the food was or if we needed anything. The next interaction we had was when the check was dropped off. I understand that restaurants can get busy and delays happen, but attentive service, especially something as simple as checking in and keeping drinks refilled, goes a long way. Guests do notice these details, and they directly impact the overall experience, as well as the tips servers receive. I'm sharing this because I know this restaurant is capable of much better, based on past visits. I hope this was just an off day and not the standard moving forward.

We so rarely encounter attitude in Tucson, that our experience at your coffee shop on Saturday…read morereally took us aback. All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

I discovered Ausperitea in 2010 by accident when I visited Tucson and strolled around the St…read more Philip's Farmer's Market. I purchased several packets of tea and was blown away by the quality of what I got. Ausperitea has been the main source for my teas ever since then -- that's 6 years as of writing this review. Occasionally I've gone ahead and purchased teas from other companies, but the quality of Joe's teas is simply superior. And so I returned time and again to Ausperitea. My favorites are the Darjeeling (Silk Road Bazaar) as well as the Milk Oolong (Ambrosia). Both have exquisite taste and flavor. I prefer lighter teas (with an occasional Assam thrown in) but upon Joe's insistence I tried his Puerh (Yunnan Treasure) and even though it's as dark as the night it is smooth and flavorful. The fact that I lived in California but have my teas shipped from Tucson has always been a point that my friends teased me about. But hey... you cannot beat quality. And you also cannot beat the fact that Joe is very knowledgeable and loves what he does. About two months ago I ordered a 25 pouch Darjeeling sampler from another company but none beat what I got from Ausperitea. And so, since we just moved to Tucson temporarily, I stopped by at the market this morning and stocked up again. Can't wait to drink them.

Seriously, the colors were gorgeous. Whoa, my tasty iced ginger teamonade (they have a great way with words) was only a dollar fifty-score! You can also get samples, which I had a few tasty samples as well. Everything was divine! Lucky me, the more you buy the more you save and if you are a vendor, you get a discount as well. Plus, they change the teas every week, so if you spring for a cup often enough, you will really get a feeling for what they have to offer. So, yesterday they were offering the following beverages for $1.50 (what a steal): Extreme Zen Blend Fruitastic Fruit Tisane: an herbal fruit blend, strawberry-cherry flavor (purchased to make at home -hot, iced and mixed with lemonade) (replace your child's sugar laden artificial kool-aid with this) AphrodiTea's Kiss Apricot Black Tea: a soothing black blend Sakurambo Black Tea: a mild Japanese cherry black blend, very refreshing (purchased to make at home, plus I got the last one!) (prepare to float away to Japan upon tasting) Silk Road Bazaar Organic Makaibari 1st Flush Darjeeling Black Tea: a traditional black, sweet and floral Ginger Teamonade: a lemonade using our Organic Sunburst Ginger Herbal Tisane (purchased and devoured there....loved the ginger kick, it was heavenly) Moroccan Mint Teamonade: a lemonade using our Organic Moroccan Mint Green Tea Black Chai: our Chai Nirvana Black Tea made with soymilk Pecan Chai: our Chai Nirvana Pueblo Pecan Lapacho Tisane made with horchata Teas and tisanes far and wide were spread out all over their booth....if you have a hard time finding what you are looking for, just ask, they are really helpful! They are also great at returning emails....superb customer service. Plus, Joe told me they are doing a tea tasting event (7/21) at Bing's Boba Tea (which I have been DYING to check out), and yes, I created a Yelp event. Note: the address listed is their commercial address, they are not a brick and mortar establishment. However, besides the farmers market you can pick up the tea online, Acacia, the Tucson Botanical Gardens, the Arizona Inn, The B Line, and Delectables here in Tucson, and they have expanded to the Phoenix and Flagstaff areas too! I simply adore when companies support local businesses and Ausperitea is offering 10 percent off of retail purchases and 50 percent off cup service to anyone who shows them a receipt from Delectables or the B Line during the trolley car construction, because they know 4th Ave. is hurting. Ausperitea cares:-) Guess what else, they used Yelp, when they were determining where to sell their teas- TGFY (Thank God for Yelp) Green tea, white tea, oolong tea, black teas, pu-erh tea and herbal tisanes (no part of the tea plant is used, it is an herbal infusion...plus, they have health benefits) are their specialties. So, not only are you spending your money to improve your health, you can feel good because you are also helping out a small local business to boot.
