It's disgusting that people think it's OK to throw the garbage from thier cars on the ground when there's trash cans at each vacuum, & even sadder that Richies doesn't bother to clean it up!! Went to the "soft touch" automatic car wash today. Swiped my credit card. Transaction was verified for the $15 dollar wash. Get the green light to pull forward. The undercarriage spray works. I pull up until I hear the the message to stop and park. The front brushes start to spray then they go back to their side position and I hear a message to pull forward and exit the car wash. I waited a minute or so but the cycle did not start. I pulled around to the office. Knocked several times. No answer. Called the number on the sign for assistance but it went to VM. I left a message detailing exactly what happened and have yet to get a reply. Terrible customer service. I've been going there for years but I'm done. Mikes and Johnnys will get my and my families money and business. read more

Below is what my towel looked like after drying off the excess water after going thru the touch-less wash on the high $15 price. If that goes to show you, you aren't supposed to have this much dirt to be wiped off your car after going thru a wash. Better to not waste your money at the touch-less. read more

just back from a fifteen dollar brushless car wash at ritchies of independence. the rinse and application is only done on the passenger side three times , the drivers side once . the roof and hood were still dirty when i checked at home. very disappointed as i had to clean the roof and hood before waxing. to the owner check your equipment for m,aintenace and programming. i do not recommend thiis setvice read more

Let me begin by saying that if I could give 0 stars, I would. I noticed that my car was in need of a good scrubbin' and washin'. Now... I pull my 2010 Nissan Leaf up to Miss Richie's Car Wash, and yes my Leaf is electric because I actually care for the planet and usually don't get car washes because of that. But I wanted to treat my Leaf today, so we went to the wash! I paid the machine for "Richie's Best," which cost 15 BUCKS! I drove my Leaf in and nothing really happened to start. Then, it started spraying her with water, pretty harshly by the way. Then the water stopped, so I sat for a bit waiting for the next step of the wash.. only... the next step never came. No soap. No drying. So I pull my Leaf out of the car wash, covered in dirt, soaking wet. Needless to say, Miss Richie is being left in the past today. I would love my money back, and an apology to my Leaf! read more

Just paid $15 for the "best" wash, and the machine dumped all kinds of nasty used soapy water on the car at the end during the drying process. Going to have to pay someone else to clean it properly. BS! read more

Maybe it's because I drive a pickup truck, I don't know, but I will not be back and I would not recommend the touch less wash to anyone. Half the length of my truck and the bed cover are still covered in dirt. I was hoping to find a good alternative to doing it myself, but this is not it. read more

One of the best car washes around haven't tried the touch less but I did the self service and the pressure is super nice. Only thing is it's more expensive but I'm willing to pay a bit more to get any car much cleaner than other places. read more

i have a couple concerns i will address the biggest one last. i pulled in and wanted to purchase two air fresheners and and two glass wipes .. one each for my car and one each for my husband's car back home that i just cleaned but the windows needed extra help. cherry was out as the sticker said so i tried the vanilla roma. and nothing came out but the pull button pulled out like it engaged to send product so i pushed coin return and nothing came out so i put another quarter in thinking i might not of put enough in for purchase tried the vanilla but nothing so hot the coin return thinking it would return all of my money but only received a quarter please don't ask me why i didn't give up then so i tried the black ice and it was either out of order or did not work again so i'm out another $1.25 but this time i didn't add the extra quarter lol so. 2.75 .. the glass wipes were out as well but i only tried once and an extra quarter in case this was an error on my side ..should of known better ...lol still not a big deal i give ppl the benefit of the doubt ..lack of help these days or on vacation and didnt refill. ..mind you it was late and dark ao i didn't check my car wash until the next morning .. i have a black suv sonit was pretty easy to see when i went out the next morning it looks as of some chemical had dripped down my mirror at some point during or after the car wash and appears to have taken the paint off and drip like shapes so i need to contact richie's first thing tomorrow morning and have them look at it has anybody else had this issue with the paint situation at this point i don't even care about losing the money on the air fresheners in the glass wipes just need help figuring out what steps to take next in getting it fixed .. i can't take pictures till tomorrow morning because my day has ended again in the dark read more

Just had a carwash at Richies. The touchless bay. I paid $15 for everything yet there were obvious steps missed. I did not get "top of the line" wash. No foam and ceramic stopped halfway through. Tried to call phone number on facebook and yelp but it is disconnected. read more

Richie's Car Wash is a newer, touchless car wash located on Dixie Highway in Erlanger. Having recently purchased a new, dark colored car, I've been trying out various car washes to get it clean. Richie's is one of the less expensive local automatic options and offers much of the expected features: touchless, prefoam, undercarriage spray, wheel shine, clear coat, forced air dry, etc. Pricing is relatively inexpensive ranging from $5 to $12 dollars. Conveniently takes cash or credit/debit at the selection machine. There are two bays, as well. (Richie's also offers do-it-yourself bays, too.) Despite the nice pricing and newness of the facilities, touchless just doesn't get the job here. I'm always left with spots that don't get cleaned or dry wrong. And without in any inside service, the value just doesn't measure up from a total car cleaning perspective. The $5 spray off is probably ok in some situations, but if you want your car to look really nice for some time, a facility that hand dries & cleans inside is your automobile is your best bet. read more

Used the dog wash that they have on site and was absolutely pathetic. Water pressure was poor. The shampoo was so diluted that it didn't even prod sud. I will definitely not be coming back. $10 I could have spent elsewhere. The only good thing I can speak to is the convenience of the facility. read more

this place is a joke! I've given them two chances to offer better customer service. It's always the same thing. "The computer is broke" so they have to re-enter all you Uhual info again. Oh this is the best part. You have to wait for them to come to the office they are never there between the hours of 8-9. One time the guy had to run his wife to work, meanwhile I'm waiting for him at the office that opened at 8. He showed up at 8:30. I said okay, I will give him another chance. WRONG!! It happened again yesterday. Waited for him to come back to the office for 20 minutes. I even did the express check in because this caused me to be late to my appt. THEN they couldn't get the program to work so it took them 30 minutes to re-enter my info again. So now 1hr later at 8:45 I'm finally leaving the lot. DO NOT USE THEM for Uhual services. They are totally incompetent and have no problem allowing the customer to wait for them to come back from whatever personal business they are doing. read more

I've gone to quite a few car washes in the area and I've found this one to be the best. It does a great job cleaning the car. It's touchless, has 3 different levels of cleaning (and price), and it seems to be decently fast. read more

Be careful at the Independence location. The automatic car wash left all kinds of scratches on our car.
