The "technician" came on Saturday on time. After showing him the bathroom where I needed a medicine cabinet installed, he went to get his tools from his van. Seeing him come back with a starter Stanley tool kit and something in a paper bag was a bit concerning. Seeing that he had not much more than a handsaw and a hammer was more concerning. But he had a busted window on his van, suggesting he probably needed the money, had some bad luck, so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Not having fancy tools doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't skilled. In hindsight, I wish I'd have listened to my gut. I walked by mid work a couple of times to see if he needed anything. The hall/doorway doesn't give a good view of the wall he was working on and there was so much debris on the floor, I didn't go inside the bathroom to give it a good look. And I didn't want to hover. The reviews for SureSir are mostly very good... They claim to hire experienced professionals... I was very specific in my job request. Surely, they'd send someone who viewed the request and was experienced. WRONG. Hours later, the tech tells me he's done. From the hall, I see the terrible job he did on the finishing. Now I just want him gone so I say thanks, goodbye. The $400 medicine cabinet I bought is ruined. The bathroom wall is ruined. The vanity may be ruined - it appears he used SPRAY PAINT at some point for some reason and he got it on the stone. The cabinet is nearly THREE INCHES off center. It is set crooked. WTF did he do to the outside??? That's not spackle. He used some sort of foam that he got onto the floor and didn't bother wiping up. Not surprised because he didn't clean up anything except the large piece of drywall. He left debris ALL OVER THE BATHROOM. He made a mess on the sink and didn't wipe up anything. He left blue tape on the bottom side of the cabinet. THE SURESIR TECHNICIAN DID A HORRIFYING JOB. I could have done this myself far better. I hired out because I wanted a PROFESSIONAL to do it right. I immediately called SureSir and told the rep what happened. She told me to text her the photos and a manager would call me. An hour later, one does. She clearly has not seen the photos, but, we make a plan that she would send a new technician over on Tuesday to repair the botched job for free. She apologized for the work but did not seem to understand the level of incompetence. I agreed, but said that I needed to speak to the tech before he came over so I could make sure he knew what he was doing because I did not trust that they would not just send another random "newbie," as she called the first one. On Monday (yesterday) I still hadn't heard from anyone. I called SureSir twice, left a voicemail, sent them a message via the Thumbtack app, to which I got the response: "we'll give you a call in a bit. Please bear with us." I never got a call. Meanwhile, the app is sending me auto-text messages and emails reminding me to pay my invoice. Ha! Now it's Tuesday and I still have not heard from anyone. Until noon, when a rep calls me to remind me to pay my invoice. I explain the situation again and that I've been trying to get someone to call me back about this tech who was supposed to come to my house today. She apologizes and says someone will call me asap. It's been 3 hours now and still, crickets. Frankly, at this point, I do not and would not (WARNING TO YOU) trust this company to have a qualified technician to repair what their horrifically unqualified technician botched. My bathroom is ruined and will cost far more money and time now to repair. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I called Leonard B Plumbing 911, turned off the water, and he was over in about 30 minutes. Leonard did a very meticulous job of finding out where the leak was coming from. It turned out to be a pin sized hole in a pipe over the door jam. The great thing was his method. He found the leak with minimal damage to my wall and door so after the leak was fixed it was easy to repair. There is no way that you could even tell there was ever a problem if you look at the wall now. They were only installed for 3.5 months…read more Elan had his guys come back and instead of repairing, they decided to take the pavers apart and reinstall the entire patio. Upside: Eran sent his people out here to replace. However, I question if sound of the proper base was laid after watching some other companies because of how this patio has separated again. Another company I spoke with asked me how thick the base foundation was and what kind of gravel was used. I couldn't answer but I am curious what the source of these cracks are. Fast forward to September 1 2022; I notice that the pavers have already started to separate again. This time they did last 2x longer than they last time at least. But i Was hoping for a decade. My research showed that pavers can last decades, and are less prone to cracking than concrete. But I'm pretty disappointed with how these pavers have not lasted 1 year. Neverless when the crew came in Feb, the sanding materials that were used killed the adjacent grass that was only 3 months old. But i had decided a small price to pay for a permanent fix to the patio. I'll call Eran next week to see they will do about this. On my last landscaping project, the crew noticed what seemed to be an addition of cement or concrete to the pavers, making it impossible to install edging around an area. If concrete was added, to the pavers--maybe to make them last--this won't be a simple disassembly job, since they were only supposed to use sand On top of the final pavers to complete. Will update.

Second, a leak under the kitchen sink which turned out to be a hole in the garbage disposer. So glad it was nothing major. Now I wanted the kitchen faucet replaced and our hot water was running too slow in the master shower. We also wanted a new handle and a new shower head. Patrick made a few recommendations on what brands to purchase for the kitchen faucet and why he recommend them. Also, what repairs were needed to be done to get the water flowing stronger in the shower. What I wasn't expecting was the added find. Something else needed to be done. Oh boy! The regulator needed to be replaced. The psi registered at 100. Ok? Patrick explained what it should have register at. I asked him to adjust it, he tried to adjust it but nothing, it needed to b replaced. Maaaan! Ok fine replace it. Our daughter asked to have the second bathroom with the noisy shower pipes checked. I will call him back for that. We had already gone over what we had hope to spend. Patrick came back a couple of days later to start the work. He did a little happy dance when he saw the recommended kitchen faucet. LOL! He work quickly. I actually liked listening to him work and run up and down the stairs. It gave me the impression he enjoys his work and knows what he is doing. My kitchen faucet looks great. It runs great. The bathroom shower is very attractive and the water runs stronger than it ever has. We are happy campers. Before Patrick left I asked him to look at the second shower. He turned on the water. What do you know, no noise. What?! Where is the loud, obnoxious noise? Patrick said, "it was your regulator going out" SHUT THE DOOR! It has been 4 days and the noise is gone. Thanks Patrick! It is such a relief to have a reliable, dependable and trustworthy plumber to call on. We sought estimates from a few companies to replace our tub.
