I'm a regular customer at my local Midas by my home in the Chicago suburbs. My family was in Milwaukee for a tournament for one of our kids, and our car suffered an unfortunate flat tire incident. After replacing it with the spare, I desperately called several local shops to see if I could purchase a new tire and have it installed. But they were all either too busy or didn't have the matching tire in stock. Finally, I called this Midas in West Allis, and the technician told me to bring the car over. When I arrived about 20 minutes later, they were waiting for me. They quickly checked the tire to confirm its specs, and they had the new tire installed within an hour. I was so impressed with their attentive customer service that I went ahead and did an oil change there too and canceled my appointment at my regular Midas. The shop was busy. There were many other customers there. I could tell a lot of them are regulars, and I can see why. This place does good work at a fair price, and they genuinely care about their customers. If I'm ever in Milwaukee again, this is only shop I'll use for all of my car service needs. For those who live in the Milwaukee area: run, don't walk to have your vehicle serviced here. Their diagnostic fee is very expensive as well at $225 just to take 5 minutes to plug in a machine to see the codes to what is wrong. I took my car to get a second opinion and they were able to repair my car for $800 less!!! Also they noted the work done on my sensor was not done well by Silver Lake so they had to repair it as well. I'd recommend finding a local auto repair show instead. They are more trustworthy and fair in pricing.

I explained my battery light kept flashing on and off and did they have time to visibly look at it (thinking maybe the connections may be bad). The woman on the phone didn't ask any further questions, just dismissed me and said we don't have any openings today. Horrible customer service. Uncaring, inflexible and rude. I got an oil change and they diagnosed several other issues with the car. I chose to not pursue the work right away but mentioned that my tires weren't holding air. Turns out they were 10 years old and dry rotted. Chuck's was able to order new tires and get them mounted and aligned all in the same day. Every conversation I had with multiple employees was professional but friendly. I was temporarily in town and had this work done, but based on these great experiences, I'd go out of my way to go to this auto shop again.
