The bartender was friendly and chatty, and was from another country so he was eager to talk. They have a two part building, with a nice large downstairs too. The brewery has been going for over thirty years, which is a lifetime for this industry. The beer selection was fairly limited compared to the dozens you get at some breweries. They had basically one offering of each type (stout, ipa, lager, ect). There's recipes seem to have been going for years and they have all sorts of old labels from decades ago. Lots of video poker machines if that's your thing, and a cool swag shop. The rest 2/3 of the building is more your typical independent casino. I opted for the Chocolate Stout, and it was fantastic! Never know what you'll get with a new brewery but this was a nice dark beer with lots of malt and sweet Carmel flavor. One of the top stouts I've tried, and I've had a lot! Definitely would be back for that same beer, and to try more!

My…read morefamily has deep roots in the area from long before gaming arrived, and we've always made an effort to support local businesses and owners. In those early days, Dostal was a place where people came for a good pizza or sub and enjoyed a little gaming on the side. It was part of the community. Unfortunately, the place today feels like a shell of what it once was. The food has always been average, which is something many customers can accept, but poor and disrespectful service is never acceptable. I brought my concerns to the owner, Lisa, hoping they would be taken seriously, but the response was disappointing and dismissive. It's unfortunate to see a longtime local establishment lose the character it once had. Good food and good ownership go hand in hand, and when both are lacking, customers notice. After many years of supporting Dostal Alley, I won't be returning. Farewell, Dostal Alley.

I can't recall their names but they were both very welcoming and friendly to the guests they attended. Our server was extremely helpful in helping us select our order as it was difficult to make a decision. She had a wonderful smile and funny banter and was genuinely happy to serve us. I thought she was the owner of the restaurant, but as we were remarking about the beauty and history of the building she remarked that she had only been working there for a few weeks! She was truly a breath of fresh air where customer service and friendliness is truly hit or miss. Some folks were very happy to see us, others could have preferred we stayed home. The BBQ was also amazing, we shared a platter with brisket and pulled pork, coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Everything was really delicious, the coleslaw wasn't overwhelmed by too much mayo. It was crisp and deliciously crunchy and the mac and cheese was homemade using mezze penne, gooey and flavorful. It was a delicious meal and a wonderful experience.

The employee taking orders was patient while I looked over the menu and gave a couple suggestions without overdoing it. The pulled pork was tender and had enough flavor on its own without needing extra sauce. I wasn't expecting much from the salad, but the chicken was fresh and the portion was bigger than I thought it would be. My order came out in a reasonable amount of time even though there were several people waiting ahead of me. Overall it felt like a dependable local BBQ spot that focuses more on solid food than hype.

I have NEVER seen a breakfast burrito look like that. It was HORRIBLE!!!! We scraped the green stuff off and did our best to eat it (I hate wasting food). I picked the egg and some of the hash browns out from the inside and that was all I could stomach.....I'm paying for it today The Manager was RUDE and said that because my husband ate more of his (inside mainly) he wasn't going to take it off.....really?!? He didn't offer us anything else and basically tried blaming us and the Server.....we will NEVER go back. There was a young girl who ordered her food to go and her hash browns were burnt. Back in the day, this place was always packed. Tonight, during the dinner hours, they had SEVEN tables. We paid $4.00 for a glass of soda that we didn't even get a refill on. Avoid this place!!!

Our server dropped the food and ran for cover, never to ask how it was or if we needed anything. the ugly - my mile high chicken club came with onion, even though I requested no onion because I am allergic. The prime rib french dip sammy was pretty small and the fries were meh. again, the server dropped and ran & disappeared entirely, so we couldn't let him know that I needed a new sandwich. hubby ate my dinner, and noted the chicken was dry and flavorless. the fruit that i requested in lieu of fries was slimy and inedible. when hubby was done eating, our server was still playing his disappearing act, so we waited for 20 minutes until the bartender noticed we had been left unattended and brought us the check. thankfully, he checked us out quickly. overall, we would not recommend this place and will certainly not return
