Standard breakfast with poached eggs. Tea and juice
Elle G.

Went here for brunch. It's across from St Lawrence market. It's a great spot for brunch on the weekend in this area. My friend had the Bennie and I had the standard breakfast. It was a hearty option - eggs, sausage, bacon and peameal with potatoes (which were awesome) plus toast and salad. Definitely a filling option. Go by transit or park in the nearby Green P in the north market.

This was a very cheerful and cozy restaurant and bar right across the street from St. Lawrence Market. I had the white fish with rice and french fried onions stacked on top and it was light, crispy, citrusy and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the server actually recommended the dish. The limoncello spritzer complimented the dish very nicely. The prices seemed a bit high to me, but probably average for the area. I will visit again on my next visit to Toronto, Canada.

There are all sorts of food. It was pretty good. Not as filling as i thought it would be. Service is nice but also a little bit nonexistent. Place is nice and has an outdoor and indoor setting. I was outdoors at night which was nice

Visited The Corner Place near St. Lawrence Market and loved the summer vibes on their patio. No wait when we arrived, and the service was decent with regular check-ins. Drinks were well-priced for Toronto and quite tasty. We tried the Truffle Fries, which were fantastic--huge portion with lots of sauce and a mild truffle flavor. The Bang Bang Prawns were good too, though a bit chewy and not as large a portion. The Japanese tacos were a highlight--so delicious with a huge chicken slab, making them hard to close, but the flavors and sauces made up for it. A crispier shell would have made them perfect. The Pistachio Ricotta Cake was amazing, combining two of my favorite flavors. I just wish it was bigger hehe Overall, The Corner Place is a great spot for patio dining, and I'm definitely planning to come back!

The restaurant was super vibey! We loved it. The poutine was great - the fries were crispy and not super soggy with gravy. We also got martinis which were very good. The wait staff was very friendly too and let us hang out for a bit while the kitchen was turning over from brunch to dinner.

Came here for dinner with a party of 2 on a Saturday evening and I loved it! The servers are very friendly and food comes out relatively quickly. We ordered the tuna tataki tostadas, rosemary and garlic brie, and truffle fries. I was so surprised that the brie dish was an actual whole wheel of baked brie! All were so delicious. The cocktails were great as well. They have a good sized selection of dishes, and I'd go back as there were more things I wanted to try. The bathroom did not have soap which I found very strange and unsanitary, but there was hand sanitizer outside the bathroom door.

Was roaming around downtown Toronto and wanted a quick break . This place was amazingggggg.. I generally don't give 5/5 but this one deserves it . I think the bartender Mr Axel (I hope i spelt it right) was very friendly and super good service .. cowbell brewary beer was just out of the world .. will strongly recommend this for all Hazy IPA lovers ... food was good too. Wings wasn't spicy but tasted ok. Wish they had more spicy sauces for wings . Everything was sweet. Still this place deserves 5 stars because of customer service . Parking is crazy in downtown . We left our car in paid parking lot .. overall a very good experience...

In past years I've noticed The Corner Place's cute patio, and decided to finally give it a try this weekend. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday, and were able to get seats immediately. We ordered the JFC taco, tuna tataki, and butter chicken. All the food tasted pretty solid (but not first-rate). I think the butter chicken was my favourite. Service was prompt even though the patio was quite busy. Definitely a great place to grab a bite / drinks, as the ambience is lovely with fairy lights and big trees. Finally summer in the city!

I've been to this establishment I'm the past but only for dinks. Last night I stopped to get a bite to eat to bring home, and I don't like the feeling of being ripped off:/ My greeter was a sweetheart. The server, served me. I ordered my favourite drink there, The Pink Lemonade. My food came, I paid AND tipped and then I went home. I ordered the following: 1. $16.99 : Impossible Veggie Burger with a salad 2. Prawns : $ view my receipt and you tell me 3. $ 16.00 : Pink Lemonade 4. $ 5.00 : Tip My bill came up to $59.22 Pls do the math. I purposely left the price for the Prawns out as I'm so embarrassed I got swindled. I was yelling and screaming to the food and myself when I opened up the container with the Prawns. The video will explain. I got 2 full handfuls of salad, a burger, and enough shrimp to feed my 2 yr old niece. I wonder if I had ordered my food to stay if they would of had the audacity to serve me that with a straight face? I could of taken that same $ and bought a bag of jumbo shrimp. Moral of the story #lessonlearned I gave 1 star for my greeter 1 star for my burger 1 star fir my drink But truthfully they deserve less than that

It wasn't busy when I went, so we were quickly sat down. The food is good, but I do think it's a bit pricey for the quality. The restaurant itself is giving a rustic vibe. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch.

Karage chicken tacos

Came here for lunch...it's a pretty small place, so probably a good idea to make reservations if you have a large group. I tried the chicken tacos. Portion was big!! Kind of difficult to eat as a taco since the chicken was so large...it was kind of greasy. They used dark meat which was alright. Perhaps too much batter, but the karage sauce was tasty!! Overall a solid place to visit. Though I prefer the St Lawrence market for quality of food.

Pad See Ew had great flavor, not too oily or salty, and had great quality of beef. Chicken pad Thai had balances sweet, sour, and savory notes. As part of the annual Winterlicious promotion, two of my friends and I picked three restaurants…read morewith the prix fixed menu that'd we'd never tried before. This was first on our list, located in the Scotiabank Tower on Adelaide. We got a nice corner table, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, not too loud but not library-like either. The music, mostly UK fare like their cuisine, played an acceptable volume that my friends and I didn't have to raise our voices. We were seated very promptly, and our server took care to attend to my friend's allergy. She even asked to change my friend's cutlery when another server brought the wrong salad. My appetizer was a hot-smoked salmon pâté, which was ok by itself, but eaten with the pickles gave it that taste I wouldn't forget. I chose for my main the Petit Roast Dinner; the cut was excellent, full of flavour and juicy to boot. The gravy for said cut just brought the roast to another level. The sides were delicious as well, especially the crispiness of the potatoes. A clean plate was the end result! Finally to finish the meal, I chose the chocolate banoffee cheesecake - I never pass on any cheesecake when it's offered. And it didn't disappoint! The banana brûlée was an interesting touch, while having toffee sauce drizzled on the cheesecake was a first (and not definitely last) for me! All in all, it was a nice introduction to The Rabbit Hole, and I can't wait to go down there again!

We went for a special occasion to The Rabbit Hole. I probably would've more likely given a 3.5. But…read moresince you don't have an ability to give a .5, I actually pushed it forward to a four star. It's located in the Scotiiabank Plaza at King and Bay. Entrance is closest to the Adelaide side of that building. You enter on the ground floor level, but then you have to walk up some stairs to actually get to the restaurant if you see the place with the kegs on the side of the stairs, you're in the right spot! You'll have to go buy those kegs later if you want to use the bathrooms cause that's where they are. Once you get upstairs, it's a quite nice looking pub area ( maybe little bit more higher end than some pubs ). We specifically went there because in December 2025 they had a special where they were doing a beef Wellington every day until it sold out. The price tag was a bit steeper at $60, although I have to say it was pretty good. Do I think it was worth the $60, well? I think the jury still out on that one. The service was very nice. The server came and checked on us periodically, and I did let them know that it was a special birthday for my partner, and so they actually arranged a nice to surprise and brought a special dessert out after the main meal. It was nice to get something sweet to finish the meal (comp'd). The Wellington was very good. It was probably just a little overcooked for me. I prefer mine more like medium rare and it was probably more like medium well done. I might've liked it better if it had not been so well done. However, it was still pretty good and a very nice flavor and it came with mashed potatoes and a really lovely gravy and some nice roasted vegetables. Atmosphere is pretty lively, I would say that there's not a lot of privacy because the tables are very close together. That was kind of a so-so thing in my book, but not a big deal. It is a pub after all. Also, that's what you can expect in those types of establishments. So it was quite enjoyable, it was also my first time there. Not sure I'd run back there although I generally do like O&B restaurants. It's just there are others of theirs that I prefer far more than this one. Close to all the transit steps away from King subway station.

Very helpful and pleasant people. I wanted something small, so opted for their pork tacos. You get 3 small pork tacos for $14.75, which is pretty good in terms of value. They were surprisingly meaty, and tasted decent. They would probably make a good sharing item for the table as they were quite salty. Now, if this were a taqueria, I would not be impressed with the tacos. So if you are expecting "proper" tacos, don't order them. Go to a taqueria, lol. But this is a corporate chain pub in a city, whose main goal is to make a large swathe of people happy. So within this context, I think they did a good job. I would totally be ok to come back and try something else another time. I also had a local hazy IPA which was lovely. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go there again.

The first course was Labneh with bread, hummus, & beef tartare. Second course was Lamb pide & pear salad. Third course was grilled branzino, middle eastern fried chicken, black truffle rice, and thrice cooked fries. Then there was dessert which was chocolate mousse cake & baklava. Because of my many food allergies the main server for our table was very attentive & specific in asking me what I wanted as modifications. For example I got a wagyu beef pide instead of the lamb. Every dish was really delicious, presented well & quite filling. I couldn't eat all of the food. Though I tried almost everything. Service: The pacing of the dishes was quite masterful. They really paid attention to when the food was going to come out. As I mentioned above the main server was very attentive to my food allergies. I really appreciated that as some restaurants aren't as attentive. The food was served family style so everyone could take what they wanted from the serving dishes. The dishes were served in little bowls along the tables with each bowl serving about 4 people. We had asked for one long table so it was a little snug. But we made it work. Ambiance: For dinner the lighting of the space is really dim. LOL. I would have appreciated just a little bit more light. The restaurant is in an old building so to use the washroom you had to go down two flights of stairs. The dining area is small also. But it's a pretty space. As mentioned above we asked for one long table to seat 15 people. I was expecting square tables but it was a bunch of small round tables pushed together. So the tables were really crowded with food from all the dishes. But the servers made sure to take empty serving dishes away as soon as possible. The music was a little loud for me so I had to yell to be heard. The place was packed though. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, the service & atmosphere. The restaurant is close to Roy Thompson Hall & the other theatres nearby so it's a convenient location as well. It's too bad this place is only open for dinner. I would have loved to see how they would operate a lunch time service. In any case, Byblos was amazing. I would come back here again to try other dishes! Note: Some of my pics of the main dishes didn't turn out so it's mostly desserts that are pictures

I grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a drink, and listened to a podcast to wind down. It was exactly what I needed. The drink, Nutty Times, was not only delicious but the presentation was exciting too. The bartender was witty, he advised everyone near us at the bar to whip out our phones, because he was about to put on a show. Check out the video I added!
