They were however more concerned about the message than the medical care needed, stating they always answer their phones. Being more concerned about addressing the not answering phones comment than the actual medical emergency really says a lot about the staff. And they really don't answer phones because not even the insurance company was able to get through to them. Guess I really touched a sore spot there. Dr. Hsu should consider getting new staff unless this is actually a representation of her as a professional. But I've never actually been able to see her so I can't speak on her as a doctor. Such a shame. Update: I called multiple times so yes I did leave a voicemail with my information. Not only did I spend all morning trying to get a hold of you, but my insurance company tried too. They were met with no response as well and were very concerned that they changed my PCP immediately. When I got a call back it was because I upset you and I was never asked what medical support I needed. I was met with a "we always answer our phone, what do you mean?" So of course I was upset because I finally get a call back and it's regarding my comment. By this point, I had already changed my PCP and got an appointment for my medical situation. So, yes, I no longer needed your services. Regardless, I hope you can do better by your current and future clients. If you are unable to met demands it might be time to hire more hands or get a better system. My experience doesn't need to be everyone else's.

Highly recommended and she's got a strong following of other doctors and RNs who go to her as their primary care doctor. I can't say enough nice things about her and her staff. They're extremely helpful and efficient and return phone calls when you need them to answer a question or concern. Her office is like a Beverly Hills office in that it's a beautiful office and you'll walk in looking for the Nordstrom's piano player. It's that nice and extremely clean. Trust me you'll love Dr Hsu and her great staff.

The day of my appointment I didn't receive a call and I had to call to check and see what happened. Turned out they didn't have me on the schedule which was frustrating. The whole process of getting an appointment, speaking to my doctor, and to get my prescription is such a long process (I called Monday 7/13 and I still haven't gotten a call back for my prescriptions). I didn't know it can take more than a week just to communicate all of this. The manager Gina has been helping me out and I can say that she is beyond rude and unprofessional (she's made this experience for me brutal). I also had to fill out forms before the doctor can be in contact with me and gina wasn't helpful. Usually when you receive forms it marks what you do and don't fill out well in this case when I thought I was finished filling out the forms and sent it through. When my mother was admitted to Gardena Memorial Hospital on April 25, 2014, the emergency doctor advised us there was nothing that could be done for my mother because her kidneys where failing and her heart was too damaged to help her. Dr. Adegbenga, is a nephrologist and told us my mother would be a candidate for hemodyalisis. It is my opinion he knew very well that she would not survive but gave us false hope to perform an unnecessary procedure on a 89 year old woman. Since he is a kidney specialist I made the mistake of trusting him. He performed hemodyalisis on a dying woman. My mother passed away on April 28th. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN.

He saved my mother's life on more than one occasion and yes, he actually looks at your file before making any judgments. In my case I had been complaining of being tired for years. Until I started seeing Dr. Wong. He read my chart and scheduled me for a sleep study. Turns out I have sleep Apnea. Every other doctor had assumed it was strictly my weight making me tired. Not Dr. Wong. He actually pays attention to your physical symptoms and does not base all his conclusions on one or two factors. EXCELLENT doctor!I.

I mentioned I had surgery and had been waiting to get some XRays done to be sure I didn't need another crazy surgery- she had the XRays done right on the spot! The office and staff were great- While I never actually pay attention to the receptionists (they aren't the ones I'm there to see) her assistants were marvelous. I recently came here this month by ambulance. I woke up one morning and was having severe vertigo…read moreand literally could not even sit up for an hour or more, or I would just spin and spin. It was awful. The ER took me here because it was closest. I had never come here before. I told the doctor what was going on, and they did do lots of tests. He had blood tests done, an EKG and chest x ray. I was given medication for my dizziness and nausea and told him I do have a history pf passing out but not of this bad of vertigo just usually it is headedness with passing out usually caused by exception or sitting to standing too fast. I was told that I had a low hemoglobin it was down to 8.2, which wasn't too surprising since I was on my period and had a low hemoglobin. I have anemia and thalassemia minor, so that was ok. He did say he could do a blood transfusion, but I started at least being able to sit and walk normal after I was given the medication, so I just decided to leave. It's been at least a week or more, and I am still experiencing vertigo every day, so I don't think it was from my period. I am very nervous! I will go to my doctor and let her know. I think the doctors here do help and did help me as I was having an emergency at the time, but I just have to follow up on my own. I appreciate their support and service, but I didn't feel the security were very helpful. I had thought I misplaced my cellphone and was trying to find out where I could find it, and he just said he didn't have anything and that my husband wasn't there. I had to find him, and I was still disoriented, stumbling around in my pj's in broad daylight. That was embarrassing. Luckily I found it when I got home though but security and lost and found was not so nice and also this is the first hospital with an ER we had to pay $8 just to park especially since it's not far from compton?? My husband wasn't too happy about that either! The doctors are good, and my nurse was nice and the person who brought me to x-ray, but that's about it. I hope their registration person did it right because i don't want to get a bill, and I did give my updated insurance card. I gave this a 3 star rating, and that is ONLY because of the doctors and certain staff, because the rest of it needs to be worked on. There were so many of us in the hallways just on a bed. Apparently, it was hours just to be seen. ERs in California are SO different from mine back home in Michigan, and I miss the attention to care and my own room and bed.

Every other hospital I have ever been to somehow managed to figure out how to let visitors park without shaking them down, but clearly, St. Francis operates on a higher plane of financial genius. Silly me for thinking a hospital visit was about patient support rather than a real estate monetization strategy. It is truly a groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind experience to be nickel-and-dimed just to walk through the front doors. I will be sure to bring my checkbook next time I want to support this incredible parking garage masquerading as a healthcare facility.
