first of all let me start by saying I wish I could give them 0 stars. My girlfriend needed a new car and her dream car was a VW bug. So our first stop was the Rick Case lot. My girlfriend hated the place the moment we walked in with the loud club music and people banging gongs when they purchased a car. We were first met by Mohammed who was a very pleasant man but he wouldn't let us look at any cars until he ran her credit which I thought was very unusual. As they ran her credit they were running it for a VW Jetta which she didn't even want. After waiting around for 45 minutes while they ran her credit we finally got fed up and asked to just look at cars. The first car they showed us was again a VW Jetta even though we made it very clear she was there for a Bug. We finally found a Bug that she loved. The list price was 18,900. It was time for us to start negotiating. To make a long story short they tried to push their financing down our throats and and said they couldn't get the list price below 16,900. After 4 and a half hours there we left with no deal. The very next day I was on autotrader looking for a new Bug and came across the exact same Bug we looked at the night before for a list price of (14,900!!!!) So when I saw that it was on. I called everyone I could even calling some fake Rick Case Phone numbers and I could not get anyone to give me an answer as to why I could not buy the car the night before at a price I felt was fair when they have it listed online for even less than I was offering! I got tired of waiting for a returned call so I went to the dealership to find someone to look me in the eye and give me an answer.I was told that was a listing price for a 4th of July sale and they could not meet the price any longer and that on their website the list price was 15,900 (which is still 3,000 less than they had it listed on the car) and their website had the same 14,900 list price. Apparently its a flaw with some expensive third party company they use to list their cars. Whatever. After hours of waiting around I was finally able to get them to agree to a sale price of 15,700 because at that price they were loosing money. (but as everyone knows they never make money lol) Oh and btw they tried to force my girlfriend to ring the gong which she told them multiple times she did not want to do. She is also now in a battle with the finance department over a check that they claimed could be changed to a later date and apparently now can not be. On October 22, 2016, I visited Rick Case VW in Weston, Florida and worked with sales associate Jose Beltran and his manager Jim Raad. Our intent was to discuss our options as we had several concerns, primarily the fact that we had excess miles for the car that was due to be returned on Jan. 2017? The main sales pitch we received was that as long as we leased from Rick Case VW, the excess miles would be waived as well as the early termination fee. This came up multiple times during the conversation and we were met with the same answer; as long as we continued to lease with you, miles would be waived and early termination would be negotiated. With this information, we proceeded to lease another vehicle and discussed the fact that the 10,000 miles would not suffice and again, they stated we could lease again without worrying about miles and that paying an additional monthly fee for 15,000 miles that we were considering was not recommended. We signed the Early Termination-Lease Return form and upon reviewing, Mr. Raad and Mr. Beltran confirmed the charge for excess miles with a printed zero. Note there is also a printed zero for the Early Termination, yet we were not billed for this (thank you?). Fast forward to January 2017 and we are now receiving a Turn-In Settlement Invoice for a total amount of $2,292.55 for which $1,398.97 is for excess miles. Upon attempting to get clarification, we are told that the zero represents what Rick Case VW would cover, yet there is also a zero next to Early Termination fee (as noted above) and the invoice does not include this charge. You can imagine our confusion! No one has been able to explain to me why this occurred, I have gotten multiple versions and conflicting information. My daughter Manuela Pena visited the facility with the hope of clarifying and spoke to someone by the name of Brooke (ext 49853) who gave her a copy of the Turn In Settlement Invoice we already had, as well as a check copy (#1921796) for $1125.00 that we cannot determine what it was for, nor what it covered. At this point, we don't know what we are being charged and why we were deceptively told that the excess miles would be waived. Lastly, as I reflect on this lease, I feel deceived and honestly note that between the $1441.00 down for this new lease and the Turn In Settlement invoice for $2,292.55, (total $3733.55) we could have bought an entire vehicle with unlimited miles. Update: just received another invoice for $250.00 less. Why??? Thank you? Not sure how to interpret, all is deceptive. read more

HORRIBLE Experience from the Service Department with Jorge Rivera the VW Assistant Service Manager. My wife brought her Touareg for service - Emmission Issue/Fog Light/Tire Pressure. The experience she had with Jorge Riveria was down right inexcusable from an employee that considers himself a MANAGER. His treatment to a loyal VW Customer was despicable and a very bad representation of Rick Case Volkswagen. From not returning any of her calls. He placed one call to her cell phone in the morning leaving a message to pick up her car - yet when she finally got a hold of him after that message his comments was "Even though I wrote down your cell number on the paper I go by what is in the system" his excuse for not getting back to her - which evidently is a lie since he used her cell number to leave the message. Getting into the situation Jorge states "We here at VW can't fix what is not broke" Then why does the disclosure to repair the Fog Light come on It's not like my wife was creating an issue that did not exist In the end when she went to pick up the Touareg you would expect that the Service Manager would inspect the car and repairs done to make sure the tech did what they are suppose to and he doesnt make you sign a document of the repairs not doneThe pictures I attached is to demonstrate the tire pressure Note the front is to be at 33 and back at 39 which they are all over the place and not the standard The fog light lens was damaged by a solution they used Jorge then proceeds to tell her that she will receive her car in that condition and would have to complain to the makers of VW When my wife complained to Jorge Rivera's Supervisor named Juan Penton/Service Director Jorge speaks to Juan in Spanish assuming my wife was not bilingual How insulting and ignorant Bottom Line - Jorge Rivera showed how untrained he is about CAR REPAIRS has no CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS does not care or censor what he states to loyal customers He is an overall BAD representation of Rick Case Volkwagen He should do his job before he finds himself unemployed read more

I've had at least three services done at Rick Case and I've had to call back and return to have issues which developed just after these service were performed. 1) A light came on my dash board which as soon as I drove out. Something or the other needed to be reset. Didn't take even a minute to resolve. 2) A few days following another service a light appeared and I had to drive back all the way there have it resolved. I got there and the tech/rep/sales person implied that it was such an easily resolved issue so "what was the big deal". 3) My VW original air valve covers were removed after rotation and replaced with inferior plastic covers. I complained and was promised a set of placements which I never received. 4) A week or so following service I was driving on the highway when a light indicating low oil (which I recognized) popped up on my dash. I was on my way home via I75 so I went directly to the dealer. When I questioned how this happened after a few days of service and there is no obvious leak, The attendant said I could have stopped and purchased a quart of oil and poured it in myself. I told him if I could have performed the service then I would not have paid in advance for regular service and I don't expect get a car back without oil in it. He was quite nonchalant about it. 5) The advisor Jose had informed me yesterday 4/8/17 of a possible problem with my headlight which he said had resolved itself so there was no need to replace a bulb Jose had earlier said needed to be changed. 20 minutes after I left Rick Case at exactly 4:52 pm I called Jose to inform him of a light (which I was later informed by a friend was related to my headlamp) popped up while I was driving. I was informed by Robert that he was with taking a customer to the cashier but would call me back as soon as possible. Its now 4/9/17 at 5:24 pm and I have not had a call back. Best car buying experience in my 40 years of buying cars because of my salesman, Franklin Brenner. Please if you are tired of pushy, dishonest, or salesmen who just simply don't understand what you need in a car ....then you must go to Rick Case and ask only for Franklin Brenner. Don't settle for another salesman! Franklin Brenner was very attentive to what my needs were in a car and in financing. He showed me only cars that would suit me and my needs, made sure of the inventory they had in stock so we didn't waste time, patiently showed me my options and gave me great directions to the perfect car for me and away from certain cars that I would be less happy with. I am so in love with my new Passat I could just cry tears of joy!!!!. I could not be any happier in the car choice. When it came to dealing with the financing, Franklin Brenner took care of 100% of making the deal for me that I needed. Non of the going back and forth between a finance manager and myself. Franklin Brenner did all of the talking with the finance manager for me so I only had to work with Franklin Brenner on making the deal that I needed. OMG never had this much professionalism in a salesman ever. There was non of the scary, pushy tactics used often when signing the finance deal. I simply only had to sign exactly what Franklin had asked the finance manager for!!!! Please everyone....ask for Franklin Brenner at Rick Case VW Weston and you will be so happy. He may come off as soft spoken, making you think he isn't going to work hard to get you the deal, but believe me....he will work very hard to make you happy and the finance people respect him. Worst experience at Rick Case VW. I'm a big fan of VW and have owned 2 VW in the past. I was looking for a white with black interior 2019 Tiguan SE, checked the online inventory at Rick Case VW dealer in Weston, FL and found an offer of $24,553 and reached out using the chat option. Received a call quickly after from Roger who confirmed the price shown and that if I went to the dealer the same day they would even give the same price out the door (covering taxes and fees). He also confirmed I can also use the 2.99% APR promotion going on. When I got to the dealer, the car was not even there. They mentioned that the car was on hold at the port and not sure when they will get it. Roger could have mentioned this during our call but just decided to push for me to go to the dealer that same day otherwise the offer will expire. The salesman (Victor) made us literally walk the entire lot looking for a car similar car (instead of just looking into their system to see what do they have on the lot) to tell me that they didn't have a white with black interior 2019 Tiguan. He offered an upgraded version with sunroof for $1,300 more which I entertained. Victor introduced me to Jason, who gave me the out the door price of over $29,000 and mentioned that I cannot use the APR promotion in combination with the online pricing - clearly not what was offered by Roger over the phone that same morning. He offered a 4.99% APR or use the 2.99% APR promotion with a $30,000 price. Finally when I asked them to value my trade-in, they provided a very low value - $9,000 vs $12,500 from kbb, while they claim on the website that they pay up to 120% kbb value. Started out well before crash and burn ! Gave Rick Case VW a chance to earn my future business. After my family and I had leased 8 cars from Gunther VW in Coconut Creek since 2007, we had a bad experience with our deal on car no. 8. It was a huge disappointment after being so loyal for 10 yrs. Long story short we ended up with a $ 697 lease return settlement fee that should have been charged back to the new car lease deal, ( AS PROMISED ! ). The management team at Rick Case told me that they would love my business and that I would never experience the same lease return problem with them . The lease return of my car would be part of the deal and any future fee's would be charged back to the new lease deal. BUT ; I was to find out down the road that the same thing happened again and I got stuck with a $ 891 lease return fee ! I tried for months to get this debacle fixed with the finance manager and later with the customer relation director to no avail. What a let down - and I'm in the "BIZ" over 20 yrs... Still got "SCREWED" like so many other people before me... Customer retention is obviously not important to these "mega" stores anymore. At least I work for a company where we survive and thrive from customer retention and referrals. This was the best experience I have ever had or witnessed at a dealership!! Pierre LeBlanc is an amazing sales person, very honest, very respectful, and very patient dealing with me and my girlfriend. He made sure that I had a deal that we could both be happy with and agree on, he dealt with my back and forth emotions for over 3 hours! Best sales person and HIGHLY recommended for ANY car purchase! Oriana was amazing as well, she took my appointment over the phone, and although she was unavailable when I arrived (I was 2 hours late) she still came out to the sales floor to meet and greet me and my girlfriend. Danny who I'm assuming is one of the managers was also extremely incredible offering assistance in closing the sale and giving us an interesting book to read and take with us as well. Finally Jeff in the accounting department, he lived up to every expectation that the rest of the team set. Extremely helpful and friendly, made sure that my numbers were done properly and he was extremely easy to talk to during the entire process. This is an incredible place to get a car! I honestly cant wait to go back just to see and talk to everyone, and they are more than welcome to come and have dinner at my house!! Let me start off by saying ... They are a scam ! There should be no stars for this horrible company . like all the other reviews everyone in there is sooooo pushy , I was rushed into buying a car (Jetta 2012) that they had insisted was a great deal and by the prices I believed it as well, until right when I left the lot I realized my door sounded hollow while closing the door . 2 days later I went in to see what was the problem and they insisted since buying the car I have already had it serviced to fix the car somewhere else .... It was a used car and I only had it for 2 days but they assured that I had it service somewhere else before bringing it back to them ... Which was the first scam . Now I have only had this car for 6 months and I'm having a problem with the whole engine (throttle body) and the censors ... They wAnt to charge me more than $1,000 for all the issues going on when they should of checked this before selling me a car . I had just went to Carmax to see what exactly they would give me the car for and they had told me before I had purchased this car ... It had gotten into a severe accident, and the whole front was reconstructed ... Worst car buying experience ever! Inquired online (I live 250 miles away from them) and over a few days dealt with Gus, Justin, Chad, and Christian. Never sure who my salesman was or who to negotiate with. Also, despite their ads and phone recordings claiming the sale could be completed online and car would be delivered to me, they refused to do that and forced me to drive 4 hours to buy/pick up the car. Christian was ultimately my salesman and, I asked him specifically to check the car out carefully BEFORE I agreed to the purchase. Asked him to look for any nicks, chips, scrapes, dings in the paint job and he assured me in writing (texting) there were none. (Car is only 2 years old with 10,600 miles on it.) Got the car home and first noticed the front tires were very worn (seems impossible in 10,600 miles!!) and then noticed the left rear bumper has been hit, scraped, and sort of touched up. Took photos of rear and tires, sent them to Gus, Chad, Christian, and deal closer Andrii and asked for help. How can we work something out? From Tuesday through Saturday, got some questions, but basically NO MEANINGFUL RESPONSE. So, I may be stuck paying for getting the body work done (local Genesis body shop estimate is $2300) and buying two new front tires (local Genesis dealer price is $958). I AM NOT HAPPY! read more

I usually avoid writing negative reviews or complaining, as I understand everyone can have an off day at work. However, my recent experience with Rick Case Volkswagen was so concerning that I feel compelled to share it, especially since I was informed that four other customers faced similar issues this month. A few months ago, I took my vehicle in for some minor repairs. Knowing they were short-staffed in the mechanic bay, I waited until I had a few issues before bringing it in, so they could be addressed together. After a couple of days, the repairs were reportedly completed. I paid a $50 deductible and didn't verify the repairs, trusting their word - a mistake on my part. Shortly after, I discovered one of the problems, a malfunctioning back window, was still unfixed. When I contacted the service department, they apologized and asked me to schedule another visit. I took the vehicle back on a holiday to avoid missing work. They fixed the window this time but charged another $50 deductible. I questioned why I should pay again for a repair that should have been done correctly the first time. The response was unsettling: this was standard practice, and similar incidents had occurred with other customers who just paid the fee. I think I am one of the most complicated person buying something. Most sales people are having a hard time trying to sell me and they give up on me most of the times. That's why I have been trying to get a car for the past month and I couldn't. I work in sales also and I don't buy that easy "the great deals" until yesterday that I was advised to go to Rick Case Voslkswagen Weston and meet Mauricio de Francisco. I understood all the good comments I heard about him as soon as I was welcomed by his smile and great attitude. Mauricio is not just a car salesman, he is a great people-person and makes you feel "with friends" while talking to him. I went there planning to buy an cheap used car being in a tight budget and after few hours of talking and and inspecting all the options that he explained to me with all the details and patience someone could ever have, I end up driving a beautiful 2018 Jetta, but not only that I feel like I got the best deal I could have get with no hustle. Mauricio Is very kind and patient, he truly cares about his customers satisfaction, identifying their needs and working on fulfilling it at its best! i have a 770 credit score, return customer, i have agree with a manager Jorge to a deal for new lease on Passat se for 10k/48 month with $555 down. when i went to sign a financial paper work , manager Jorge have cancel the deal and he asked me to pay more then we have agreed. in the last Saturday, June 24, VW Rick case have made 0(zero) deals, because of manager's treatment of customers. manager Jorge was very rude, unprofessional and disshunnest person, next day i contacted his general manager, who sad that manager made a mistake. i spent 4-5 hours of harassment in that dealership. if someone need a car do not go to any rick case location, you will get lies after lies ... this is the worst dealership, ..3 years ago they try to fool my wife on the price , more then $3,100.00 for a new lease, they took advantage of the women, who has received prier confirmation on car and when i show up they gave up and we left with a paying internet quote from a dealer. vw rick case is looking how to take advantage of women, who can not fight their pricing and aggressive sales. stay away from any rick case dealer, you save money and time!!! read more

I can not say enough wonderful things about the people nad the service here at Rick Case VW. I came in just inquiring about a 2018 Atlas back in December 2017. My lease was not over until September 2018. These sales man, Pedro Martinez and the general manager Jason did everything possible to get me to leave with the AMAZING 2018 Atlas. They were very patient and understanding and listened to all my concerns and priorities and made it happen to where I was not paying an arm and a leg to lease the new vehicle. I highly highly recommend them. They are honest and to the point and do not try to just sell you anything. If the deal is possible they will work with you, if it's not they will NOT mislead you. I live in Culter Bay and pass 2 VW dealers on the way, just so I can do business with Rick Case VW. It's worth the time, the drive and the effort. I brought my 2015 Nissan Rogue ten months ago from Rick Case Volkswagen. The purchasing process was great, because I was able to negotiate a good price. It seems everyone in the buying process was great, of course the person selling the car wants his commission. Included in my car purchase is the 10 years/100,000 mile used car nationwide powertrain warranty. 10 months later my engine light comes on. I take my car back to the dealer, because without a doubt I'm covered under the warranty. Saturday April 14 I took my car to get checked out, only to be told by the service manager that they don't have the tools to service a Nissan. Considering the fact that I have a warranty with Rick Case and being that I only had my car for 10 months nothing was done. From the guy who sold me the car to the service manager, ALL TURNED AWAY FROM MY ISSUE AND SEND ME ELSE WHERE. THAT IS A POOR REPRESENTATION OF RICK CASE, I'M HIGHLY UPSET WITH THE AFTER CARE SERVICE OF PURCHASING MY CAR. read more

While it would normally take a few visits to reach a decision about a purchase, our experience from the moment we arrived until we closed our deal with Mr. Frank Elie and Divaldo Ceballo was an amazing and most gratifying experience. These two individual shared som much knowledge and experience with us which helped us in finalizing the deal. We leased a 2014 for a term of 48 months and weren't sure what we wanted to really do at the end of this lease. We decided to visit Rick Case in Weston. The hospitality and experience is one we will always remember. Mr. Elie WOWED us! He took so much time to acquaint us with our new 2018 Jetta... we were delighted to have sat with Divaldo Ceballo who worked out the numbers for us allowing us to close the deal and drive away in my Beautiful 2018 Jetta. Not one to comment usually but it's not often I get an experience worthy of doing so. I saw a used vehicle online for sale at Rick Case that I was interested in. Drove in and and was introduced to Bob P. Easy going, genuine and no nonsense. I purchase my last three cars online to avoid salespeople but I may come back to shopping onsite in the future - probably at Rick Case. He was knowledgeable, attentive and spared me the usual pressure tactics. Vehicle was a recent trade in great shape with low miles. The finance manager (Ivan) was fantastic and explained all the pertinent details clearly. I never heard of such a long powertrain warranty on a used car included with purchase! The only thorn was the trade in allowance offered for my previous car which was disappointing but we live and learn don't we? Give these guys a chance if you've had a bad experience or three. I previously bought my 2012 Jetta from Gunther and it was lost in a fire. I really like Volkswagen, but was dreading having to go back to Gunther. Rick Case Volkswagen was right down the street from my office, so I dropped in after work to look at the new Jettas. I'm really surprised to see all the negative reviews, as my experience was great. I had a chance to test drive as many cars as I wanted. My sales person Jose explained ever feature and I never felt rushed to make a decision. I finally test drove the car I feel in love with. Coming to a deal was easy and painless.. I signed the paper work and was on my way. But what happened next blew me out of the water. I received a phone call the next day from finance saying they worked to get me a better deal and was able to lower my monthly payment! I went in and signed the paper work and now have a better deal on a brand new car. read more
