Then they refuse to give me a refund because the receipt had the wrong person's name. Unfortunately, this place is toxic. The GM spoke disrespectfully over me and then tried to make me hide in a back private room because he didn't want his other customers to hear about his inappropriate business practices, definitely not recommended! Deserves zero stars.

Several years ago the front end of one of our cars was damaged when someone backed into us. It was repaired at a collision shop in Annapolis, but the left front fender panel was not properly secured to the body and kept coming loose. I just tapped it back into place each time, but over time it got worse so I looked into getting it repaired properly. I took it back to the body shop that did the original work, and they gave me an estimate of $300+, much more than I wanted to spend. So last week I headed to Chinquapin Round Rd. area where there are at least 3 collision shops. I stopped first at Severn Auto Body-Chinquapin. I hesitated because it's a big facility with a huge parking area, which I assumed would entail paperwork, bureaucracy, and higher costs. But the totally unexpected happened - as I explained to the desk rep that I was looking for an inexpensive practical fix for a loose fender, regional manager Todd Chilcote overhead me, introduced himself, and offered to take a look. He then asked for the keys and said he'd be back in 10 minutes, and he was! The fender was securely fastened again, and when I asked him how much for the service, he said it's FREE! Can you believe?! Now I'm sure that virtually all other vehicles serviced at this body shop need formal estimates and repairs are not free ... but it's nice to know that a senior manager is willing to find practical, simple solutions for their customers. Thank You Todd!

They said the Car was a total loss and was eventually getting towed to the salvage lot. they diagnosed the car wrong. They stated it was the transmission, yet it was the engine. I ended up buying the car back from insurance to fix it up. Got the car back from a new engine replaced from a different shop. This shop did not touch anything but replacing the engine. I got the car back, and a huge part of the bumper was gone. I called them and had a long talk with them stated the bumper was not broken, that the took the whole bumper apart. Had photos and all to show the bumper was all with them. they tried to state they are not responsible for lost parts after the car left their lot, and that they put all the parts in the car. yet, the piece that is missing cant even fit in the car. So they are trying to blame it on the tow truck person. Yet they were the ONLY ones who touched the bumper and took it apart. They will NOT help replace the part. They gave us 3 different stories of what happened with all the parts. Long story short, I now have to come out of pocket $600 for a piece to the bumper. DO NOT GO TO THEM If its a total loss car because they WILL NOT help you replace anything when they break things or miss things.

I have been given six separate estimated dates of completion (23 Jan, 27 Jan, 7 Feb, 31 Mar, 17 Apr, 30 Apr); all have come and gone. All I've gotten was excuses; it is obvious to me they cannot manage their workflow. I have also caught them in at least four outright lies, and I even helped them obtain "the last part they needed" back on 10 April. It has been 14 business days since then and it still is not done. On 8 May 26 they will have had the car for five months. This has entered the realm of the ridiculous. I have been nothing less than cordial with the staff there. The excuses are demeaning, and I am now out of patience. I contacted their national HQ and spoke with the regional manager. I also have engaged an attorney to see what rights I have within the law under breach of contract for failure to perform within a reasonable time. Edited: Today is 8 May 26; I posted the above review and the very next day the community manager (below) asked that I contact them to discuss. I immediately replied that same day with all the information they requested, and I am still awaiting a response from them. I am not hopeful.
