Not worth the trip. Firearms dept. Is a joke. Poor customer service & they're outrageous wanting a $100 restock fee to take a firearm from hold back to the showcase. And after a background hold for 30 days without any negative reports they want you to do another 10 day background check and pay for it. I went to Turner's & had it in hand 10 days later as usual. Cool staff and I was able to get my firearm safety course done here pretty quickly. Lower score bc they say "Diamond Exchange" on side of building, I came in with four (4) 1.00ct GIA certified 2 clear 2 pink diamonds, and a few smaller natural pink argyle diamonds, also GIA certified, so 7 stones total, each stone easily worth over 1k apiece on the lower end, closer to 2k+ retail for each individual, and they offered me $100 for all 7 diamonds!! Clearly don't know jack about diamonds. That or they rip people off insanely. Either way, I refuse to give a store with such poor ethics any of my hard earned $$$. I suggest absolutely no body spend any $ here, other than getting your firearm exam. read more

In my experience with this shop, I pawned a diamond ring and as I paid to retrieve my ring I noticed a missing diamond. Thank goodness for the details on my pawn slip. I have been a customer, purchases mainly, for ten years. I have sold a few pieces of gold, but today, I sold a 10k gold bracelet and only received $10.00 a gram, so people, be sure weigh your gold and check around as most buyers, if upfront, will tell you what they pay for a gram. When I challenged, I was told, "oh we only go by pennyweight", and since I have been a longtime customer you would think instead of being somewhat rude, it would have been explained,but that should not make a difference, when the math comes out. I'm sure most of the employees are pleasant to work with, but my experience with Chris was far from standard customer service. I had bought a PS3 from Chris a few days back, and when I returned it I told him the port to the controller was messed up and that "sometimes" the games get stuck in the loader. After he plugged in the system he came back and told me the controller was indeed messed up but that the loader is fine. Well I've been in customer service for 8 years and his response was telling me I was a liar. Chris, there are some honest people in the world. Chris then said he could exchange the controller or if I had my card could give me the refund. Might I mention his demeanor was like as if he didn't even want to help me. No smile, no emotion in his voice and when he asked for my ID slammed it on the counter. Sorry Ricks pawn shop but you just lost a customer to gamestop. So I had been shopping around for quite a while looking to purchase a Glock 19 and every place was either out of stock or way over priced. I even left the A.V. and went to Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga to Bass PrO Shop and still couldn't find the firearm or price I was looking for. Everyone that works here is very friendly and extremely nice but I take out a 25.00 loan on my tablet and when I went to pick it up they charged me 25.00 plus the 10.00 fee and claimed its California state law. I didn't even have the loan for 3 days. They pretty much pentalize you for short term loans. I would choose another own shop that doesn't do that over this one. read more
