Anyway, the lady was very helpful on the phone and gave me a quote of $132, but when the guy showed up he said it was $185. I had a appointment at Hubbard to get my transmission programmed, so we paid the guy that said amount. The Towing guy was rude, lazy and unprofessional. He hooked up my truck to the tow bar and strapped it down, with the extra strap he was going to put it in my passager side door, but it was locked. Instead of using the key to unlock the door, he wrapped the strap around my antenna. Needless to say, by the time my truck got to Hubbard I had no antenna, a dent in the quarter panel and paint was removed from my quarter panel because of the strap. I contacted their claim guy who looked at my truck and said they would fix the issues, but after our conversation he hasn't returned my call. Oh and I let them know that they're still using Mikels Towing on the internet...isn't that false advertising? Using Mikels reviews as theirs!!! Just a heads up...make sure you get who you call.

As I signed the paperwork for the tow company, a beautiful young lady had me sign paperwork and suggested I give verbal agreement for my insurance company to come and pick up my car. That was just great. She saved me a trip in and sped things up with Insurance. Its nice to know there are still businesses out there that look out for their customers. I hope to never need their services again, but if I do - Hawkins Towing & Recovery will be the first call I make.

They were able to get my car in several days earlier than initially estimated, and I had it back in time for the weekend! They couldn't find anything wrong with the tire, and we hypothesized that I'd briefly gotten something stuck which had later dislodged itself. Lloyd listened to everything that I'd mentioned that I wanted done to my vehicle, and he addressed each item. Along with the tire inspection/road test I got an oil change, and part of my front bumper attached more flush to the car, all for a very reasonable price! They've also given me great recommendations for work that they themselves could not do on my vehicle (for example, an exhaust issue last year).

Funny but a state trooper passed me as I was sitting there with my flashers on but did not stop. Anyway, a state trooper had it towed to this place and when I called they said they could not tell me the price because they didn't know what all the driver had to do to tow it 10 miles so I would have to wait 2 hours for her to call me back with the price. The guy that I spoke to when I called back to ask about getting my stuff out which is my cleaning supplies for my business but he wouldn't even allow me to tell him what I needed but instead treated me like a child and made me tell him I understood. They finally call back to tell me it will cost me 245 and I can get it at noon the next day or Monday and it would be the same cost. I told her to tell the rude man I spoke with a few choice words and all the sudden he chimes in because he had been listening on the phone the entire time. He calls me back because I hung up on him but I hung up on him again because he tells me I can't get my van until Monday because of how I talked to him. This is very unprofessional behavior and he has no business being in or working at any business. There are bad reviews after another on their Google profile stating the same thing about their rudeness and overcharging. I believe they have a deal with the troopers and it's just a big scam.
