Anyone who is looking for roadside service Avoid Rick's Mobile Mechanics and tire service at all costs. I end up taking my truck to a local shop to get my differential replaced, and I save over $3,000. Rick wanted to charge me $4283 for labor and $4527 for parts. He tried to rip me off. The local shop charged me $6000 for labor and parts for the same types of work. On the phone he will tell you a $150 hourly rate; when he arrives, he will double it, but then you still have to pay him for coming out. The customer service here is an absolute joke. Sold me a tire that failed within 25 miles of being mounted, when I asked for them to bring me another tire they were suddenly out of that size. I would give less than one star but it's not possible. The guy quoted it would take one hour to retrieve the tire and head my way. Took 2 and a half hours for him to show up with the wrong tire. These guys are awesome! Call around and get some quotes for a job and then call Rick's Mobile Mechanics. These guys will beat the price, do a better job and you don't even have to leave your home. Here is an example. I needed new struts on my Toyota. The dealership wanted somewhere in the $700 range. Another local shop wanted $280 just for labor. I bought Monroe Quick-Struts on eBay, the REALLY good ones for $200. That's for the pair! I called Rick's and they came over that day and did the job in 30 minutes for $150! $350 for the job! I am disabled due to a catastrophic leg injury. Even simple tasks are now an ordeal. Rick's is a Godsend! I don't have to call for an appointment, drive to the shop, get a ride home, get a ride back when the job is finished (sometimes the next day) and then pay through the nose. I used to do almost all of my own car repairs and I know just enough to be dangerous. I do know enough to promise you these guys know what they are doing, work quickly and charge a fair price. The BONUS is you don't have to leave your home. Sometimes your may actually do more damage just driving to the repair shop after having a part failure. With Rick's, you don't even have that worry. This company is very unprofessional,rude and inexperienced in the service they provided to my customer and his boat trailer tire and rim. They provided the worse service ever I have seen in any tire repair company. Charged my customer over $1000 to repair his trailer tire and rim to put on the wrong tire size,wrong rim for the trailer (a rim that anyone could see that was rigged up and wasn't for that trailer.) and a rigged up mountain dew plastic bottle cut for a cover for the hub. And not to mention the wheel locked up after 3 hours of driving after so called repaired. would never use these people again!!!!! read more
