    Asian zing wing dings
    Steven H.

It is a rare occurrence for me to write a negative review, and not something I enjoy. However, in this case it is fully justified. I came on a Thursday evening with a group of coworkers. The place was mostly empty when we arrived and stayed that way throughout the night. The building is quite large and the interior is actually quite nice. However, that is where the positives in this review end. After placing a few orders of whole wings to share at our table, we were informed that we just ordered the last of their whole wings for the evening. Not to worry though, they assured us that they still had wing dings available. After placing 2 orders of those, our server came back to say that they were now completely out of all types of wings. This was disappointing because we were all excited to eat a lot of wings that night. I did manage to snag a few of the wings that were ordered before they ran out, and I realized that I wasn't missing out on much. The skin was soggy and the sauces tasted bland. Overall, the quality of food, service, and atmosphere were lacking at this establishment. I would not go back in the future and I would recommend looking elsewhere if you are in search of a sports bar.

The food was fine. The service was okay. The dining room is spacious and great for large groups. The arcade is also pretty good, especially because there are three pinball machines all in working order. I've been here twice. I will probably return, but I'm not in rush to do so.

I can't believe I'm about to give a 5 star review to a sports bar BUT we visited yesterday and loved it. We were seated immediately and had popcorn brought to the table. The waitress was attentive and kind. The atmosphere (during the Steelers game for us) was fun. There were tons of TVs everywhere and were viewable from all the seats. There was even a tv at our table. I ordered the small grilled chicken salad and my husband got the calzone. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Prices were reasonable. If there was *anything* negative, it would be the location as you have to go past it and turn around if coming from the west but that very minor inconvenience won't keep us from visiting again.

This is a tricky place to review. I have been here two or three times before and haven't written a review. We were here meeting a group. We gathered at one end of the bar. Some in bar seats, some at an adjacent bar counter and some standing. We found some menus laying around. Especially at first it was pretty impossible to get anyone's attention to order. I heard others at the bar complain they spent 20 minutes trying to get a bartender's attention. Once we did get one's attention she practically threw the beers down and ran before we could ask for anything else. They have complementary popcorn, though impossible to get any. Once the one bartender realized we were ordering a lot of drinks she seemed to be a little better. I'm not sure if they were just understaffed or slow. However all the times I have been here I felt service was lacking. There was multiple employees out smoking together, right in front of the entrance. Not what you want to see when you can't get service. Also the restaurant is messy, to say the least. Also as others have said it is a bit weird because it is so large and mostly empty. The saving grace is the pizza. It's actually pretty good. Always look at the specials because otherwise the topping price gets ridiculous. They do have an extensive draft list as well as a large number of bottles available.

This place definitely fits the description of supersized. TV's come in all shapes, and sizes, and appear in every corner and square inch of the restaurant. Most of the booths are equipped with their own table side tv. If you are into sports, this is one bona fide sports bar. The menu is more involved than your average sports bar, but they do list the standard fare one would expect to order while drinking a few beers and catching a game. They feature 80 different beers on tap. Pretty impressive. Week day food specials include an all you can eat buffet of tacos, pizza, and wings. Not the place to go if you are not into noisy dining. Between all of the tv's playing, video games dinging, and sports fans cheering, this place is not for you. 3 stars apply to the pizza ordered. I cannot rate their entire menu, but did feel the pizza was average. Not bad, but not anything to rave about.

This special always comes to mind if I'm looking to eat out on a Tuesday. Lots of TVs as it really is a sports bar on the patio. Still need closed captioning however. How hard is it to add that? Wait staff is efficient and food arrives without delays. A good casual dining experience.

The ribs have always been excellent. My son and I went into the uncrowded restaurant, sat at the bar, ordered two beers and told the bartender we wanted a takeout order. We watched her take care of several other customers. I told her I would be OK with going into the restaurant to place my order, but she said no she would be right back. meanwhile, the bartender was new, and there was a female manager behind the bar, with her. A little while later, the manager came over to us, and asked how could she help us? I ordered the food , and while finishing my beer, a bleach, blonde waitress from the restaurant side came in with a order of pizza. Bartender instructed her that it was for the restaurant customers. The waitress looked at the bartender and said for her to deliver it to the customers, because they were unhappy. During this time, the bartender also had to leave the bar to attend to drinks in the restaurant. I finally got my takeout order, I was walking out of the restaurant, and there were multiple waitresses and waiter in the restaurant area standing around and looking like they were doing nothing. The bartender was left to care for everything by herself. As I had said previously, I've always loved DeeJays ribs, from Wexford. When I finally arrived home, the ribs were quite dry, with hardly any barbecue sauce. I was very disappointed. Someone needs to needs to go to Bridgeville and Wexford to observe how the restaurant is generally run perfectly. I will not recommend this new location.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it. The food, of course, was good, served hot and as ordered. No complaints. Our server, Amy was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and patient (we asked a lot of questions). She was also very friendly, genuinely friendly, not forced friendly because she had to be. You can always tell. It felt like being at an old friend's house for dinner. Great service truly (imo) enhances the meal. I'd definitely want Amy for our server the next time we visit!

They aim to make a memorable experience with clever marketing, current food trends, and very customizable items. This location is even cooler as it pays homage to the once Blue Spruce Motel that was demolished for the current shopping mall. The wall has a cool graphic with the callout and the fits perfectly into the decor. Only downfall is the online ordering pickup. I get it... every restaurant wants to find a way to minimally impact their employees with fulfilling orders for takeout. But sending customers to the bar and forcing them to flag down the bartender... it's just not right. Designate a counter spot, add signage, or bring the bags to the front desk... For a company up on everything, this location should reconsider how they serve takeout orders. Still the food was phenomenal... We split a Sonoma Chopped Chicken Salad. Burgatory salads are HUGE! And the ingredients are always super fresh... I mean look at how perfect the avocado is! We tried the wings and... wow! The skin was so perfectly crisp and the seasoning was just spot on with spice and flavor. We tried the onion rings... and well... you can't win them all. The batter was soggy and way too thick. Not sure even the perfect cook could've crisped and fully cooked the batter. We won't be doing these again.

I've been to Black Sheep a few times now and I've walked out happy every time. As usual, the beer selection weighs in heavy for me and theirs is always solid. Nice selection of craft brews on tap every time I've visited. The bartenders are cool and will provide you with samples before you commit to something you're not familiar with. I'd prefer it if they had a couple of truly local breweries to choose from, but the big selection of drafts kinda makes me overlook that nuance. Aside from the beer selection, it's a pretty typical sports bar. The food is really good, both the waitresses and bartenders are friendly, and it's a welcoming atmosphere. Black Sheep is worth a visit if you like good food, a variety of beers, and a casual atmosphere.
