Why is the place empty. Spring rolls w shrimp were on point- well made! Two sauces were so different and delicious - well seasoned, light and additive to the rolls. Had the crying tiger. Steak was well seasoned and cooked perfect. Rice was on point. Sauce was star- tangy but not overpowering. This is my new go to until I eat the entire menu. We had 7 ppl in our party and everyone was happy with their meal. My daughter and I shared the pan-seared potstickers and they were delicious, with very tasty pork. We also shared the chicken fried rice, which was perfect. 3 of us shared the mango sticky rice which was my favorite that I've ever eaten. My husband really enjoyed his pad Thai, my son loved the crying tiger. My stepdad got the Mongolian beef and he loved that! My stepdad had the Thai tea and he really liked it. We saw people walking out with to go orders the entire time and a lot of them had the Thai tea. My mom and I got the cucumber kale lemonade. She thought it was too sweet but I thought it was perfect. We had a really nice dinner and the prices were reasonable. It was a super easy walk from our hotel. Our server was friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We didn't even know if it was open, just walking around mid-town looking for a place to eat with my colleagues. Stumbled on this little gem. It's industrial Asian flare interior decor was pretty cool. Open concept. It was cool inside, wear a sweater. Not sure what it'll be like in winter as this was hot summer day when we went. It was pretty informal, didn't get any silverware or napkins or appetizer plates. Like no one knew who was in charge of that part of customer service. We eventually got silverware when we went up and asked for it. They were all real friendly, it felt kind of like going to eat at your friend's house felt like in terms of formalities. They use high quality chop sticks and fancy wooden spoons. Very mod and cozy. I was thinking how cool the utensils are and hoping people don't steal their stuff! The food was OUTSTANDING and truly exceptional from the presentation to the incredible tastes and flavors. I am looking forward to going back and trying more items. Had the pleasure of trying Rickshaw this weekend while they were experimenting with late-night DoorDash and I'm floored! The quality, the freshness, the flavor, the everything! My husband got the Miso Ramen and even with the travel time the eggs were immaculate, the meat was perfectly cooked, the broth was rich and flavorful. I got curry fried rice and expected a mild Japanese curry flavor but it actually had a little kick. The veggies still had texture and were well cooked, the rice was so flavorful, and the portion was generous. If late-night was this good, I'm definitely going to have to try this place during normal hours! read more

Nothing fancy but a convenient location with enough parking and the restaurant was clean. The waitress was efficient and pleasant. There was a lunch special of a choice of two entrees. I chose the teriyaki chicken which was tender and delicious. My 2nd selection was the yellow curry with chicken. It was perfectly seasoned. It was a good sized serving with plenty left to bring home. This is my fifth time here - I've ordered a variety of foods for pick up, and had the Ramen bowls in-house twice now. We tried Rickshaw again last night, it was a Monday and definitely not as busy as our first experience which honestly may have made the difference. Food did not take long at all, and all came out in good timing. Their appetizers are delicious - I particularly liked the shrimp tempura again but we also enjoyed the gyoza and lumpia. I wished we had gotten photos of the food but we ate it too fast before I remembered. Husband got the Mongolian beef which he said was tasty. I LOVED the pork chop. Super flavorful and I'd definitely recommend it. Sister got the ramen which I had last time and it didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Will return again! read more

Food was not great. The portions were huge but I would never eat there again. We got the chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, and Ka prow. The Thai tea was good but that was about it. The sesame chicken sauce was so sour and the ka prow was plain even though we got a medium spice level. We added sriracha and soy sauce to it and it was still just bleh. The service was slow too we had to wait 20 min for a check until we went up to the counter and asked. It wasn't ever busy in there and we got a table right away. read more

New to Anchorage, they Rickshaw is a very nice surprise. The menu isn't huge but everything we tried was great. I had the Lunch special which was 2 entrees with rice and vegetables. I chose the teriyaki chicken and the wine braised beef, both were amazing. My wife had the Ramen which was very good as well. The server was quick with refilling waters and checking up on us.
