Was in town and had time to go to a nail salon. I found this location using Google maps and it had good reviews. This is in a small shopping mall. Large, free parking lot. The studio was trendy! Nice music, color changing lights on the ceiling. The staff were fun, friendly and nice! $35 for a regular pedicure $35 for a gel fill I would come here all the time if I lived in the area! read more

I got the cat eye gel on acrylic which I didn't know was magnet activated so I was fascinated to watch her do it. I asked for a different "shape" after I realized what she was doing, but she didn't understand the question. Color came out much darker than I wanted but otherwise she did good, quick work and I was happy with it especially being an out of towner. read more

Hands down my favorite nail salon to visit. The staff is always on point! Thank you for allowing me to come in! I love the machine they use to massage your legs with. usually have good service - called and made an appointment for that day and drove out. They had a sign announcing the credit card machine was down / cash only. I didn't have the amount for the service- there was no cash machine nearby. It would have been nice to : inform me at the time of the call, offer a discounted amount for my service, or give me a coupon for a future service- some sort of compensation for driving out for nothing. read more

I just started coming to this salon about 2 months ago and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made !!! I drive all the way from Harford county just to come to Ricky's (toll and all) good service and they honor appointments. I was able to call at 4pm the day before the holiday and get in and seated on time (6:30) this is one of the best shops. The pedicures are also amazing! 3 hours of disappointment. I am very displeased with the quality of service I received at this salon. I went in for a gel -dipped manicure and pedicure and I really wish I wouldn't have. The color I picked out wasn't the same once she painted the first nail, I told her that wasn't the color i wanted but she insisted it would "change" to the color I wanted. It didn't .The technician also clipped my nail bed down to the skin,causing pain when I would touch things. There was a noticeable amount of paint on my skin and she tried to tell me I was finished without correcting my nails until I told her. My pedicure was done without gloves. I asked where her gloves were and she lightly laughed it off. After a day or so, I noticed my feet and ankles were red,swollen, and itchy with a burning sensation. Each day thereafter it only got worse.Had to be seen by a doctor and take meds. read more

Pros: reasonably priced (paid $45 for a gel manicure & pedicure), very nice staff, lots of color choices, and they used sterilized packs Cons: toe nail clipper that came out of the sterilized pack was rusty, not best air ventilation, semi-dirty (noticed dirty light switches, rusty tools, and dirty walls), the manicurist hurt fingers so bad my fingers were sore afterwards, I had paint all over the sides of my fingers, and the gel nail polish did not match my toes (they said they had matching colors) All in all, not a great experience, they were super friendly and nice but the rusty clipper and the sore fingers afterwards was enough to make me not go back. read more

Just move to Perryville recently and looking for a nail salon. Decided to try Ricky. I made an appointment for a gel mani and regular pedi. I get my nails and toes done every two weeks and maintain my feet in between each appointment. This was the worst mani/pedi I have ever had! They wanted to grind the gel polish off my fingers. I told them they needed to wrap them, not grind them. There is polish all over my cuticles and the sides of some of my nails don't even have polish on them. I was shocked that they used a hand-held cheese grater on my feet!!! So disappointed!!! read more

Well.... I got my nails done today like 2 hours ago and my nails got smudge and messed up I'm really mad.

They did a lovely job on my nails and they turned out exactly as i wanted them too! Ricky's Nails has very family friendly staff and they are very nice! They did a Wonderful job on my mothers nails too! they are very reasonably priced it was $43 total for me to get a full set and for my mother to get a fill! I used to come here when i was little and it is a very nice atmosphere. I truly recommend this place! read more

I would not come to this salon unless you want a ingrown toe nail. The lady filed the side of my big toe nail for who knows why & it was painful. As soon as I left my toe swelled up and now I have to go to a doctor. Do not recommend what do ever save your money and go somewhere more pleasant. read more

I have say I am nail tech and wanted to see how the competition was in my area wee set of acrylics cheap but nails were damaged when I went home and removed them she used e-file which she did not change the bit to a new clean one her work station was not sanitized When I started looking around noticed to many violations so I'm not the best but better than them buyer beware I did go right home and soaked the acrylics off and gave myself a good manicure it too about 2 weeks for my nails beds to look ok again read more

When I go down to Maryland this is the place that I definitely go to get my nails done. This was the place that I had gotten a pedicure when they actually use a hand massage massage your feet for it. It was the best experience that I have had with a Manny Petty. The owner of the store is very nice, and she has show me different things to keep my nails very strong and has lasted the longest ever when I've gotten my nails done. I have very brittle nails so the stuff that she recommended and put it on my fingernails has made it the best experience for me. read more

This place is a little gem! I've always went into Belair for nails because I had given up finding a decent local place for my nails.. I'm closer to the RS area and forget those shops around there, terrible! I always get a pedicure and a gel manicure, and I'm pretty picky about it, this place exceeded my expectations! First off I'm a guy...the reason I'm writing a review is in the spring my wife decided my toe nails were too disgusting and that I had to get a peddie...wanting to keep peace, and also knowing she was right...I went...it was a surprisingly sensual experience...an attractive young Asian woman essentially founded your toes for a bout twenty minutes...so...hey...I'm a guy...my wife was ok with so.... Yippee! But I'm also a guitarist who has problems with his nails cracking and since good nails on the picking hand are essential, for years I've been looking for a way to repair nails...super glue, hard as nails nail polish...nothing worked...recently I had heard and watched on YouTube gel nails...that seemed like a super hard resin that could be applied and then filed and shaped...so...I gave it a shot...I'm very happy with the results...I'm not quite sure the lady knew what I was asking for...but I had my thumb, index, middle and ring finger done...the right length and shaping still need to be worked out but I'm satisfied that I've found a cure for bad guitarist nails! read more
