So the pedicure itself was okay, my nails look alright, but it was very brief considering what it costed. The tech who did it seemed like she was racing to finish even though there was only one other customer there. She didn't even let my feet soak for more than a few minutes, didn't ask me what shape I wanted my nails in or if I wanted them cut, she barely filed them, it was a mad rush. They even rushed me to pick a color. It was so bizarre! The woman who was at the door was snippy, pushy and even tried to tell me what color to get-unbelievable! Terrible Presentation: When I walked to the back where the pedicure chairs are, I immediately saw junk on the floor, boxes-some opened, some unopened. And boy was I sorry when I had to use the bathroom which they also use as a storage closet-it had more dusty boxes, junk, vacuum cleaners, etc. I'm sorry that I spent any of what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon in this place. There is a great selection of both gel and regular nail polishes that line the wall. The best feature that stood out to me was that the nail tables have built in UV lights. Even though the salon was busy when I went around Friday 12PM, there were enough technicians to quickly cater to all customers. My technician in particular was soft spoken but definitely knew what she was doing. She worked quickly and precisely on my full set of gel nails. My total came out to about $35 which is a decent price for what I got. At the end of the manicure I also received a cute stamp card that rewards based on amount spent! Since I needed to get my nails done also and it was a great opportunity to get some girl time in with my niece, I decided to go with them. My mom originally mentioned another place but, with them having a long wait, I did a quick Google search to find other places and saw Belle Palace on the list. Between the ratings, photos, and taking a look at t their website, I made the suggestion we go here - and I feel it was a good choice. You can make appointments, so I called ahead to ask if we could walk-in or should make an appointment; the guy on the phone said we should be good to walk in with the three of us and begin our service immediately. When we arrived, that is what happened. The place is as is appears from website photos and reviews - large interior with rows manicure stations in the center with pedicure chairs stationed along the sides of the room. The decor, colors, lighting and vibe did give it that spa feel, with a generally calming atmosphere. It was very clean, including the bathroom which is appreciated. Services: My mom got a regular mani and pedi, my niece got the kid's mani and pedi (can't believe she's 7!), and I got a pedi, gel soak off then regular manicure. We each received a complimentary beverage with our pedicure - my niece and I took up that offer with just some water. We're all pretty satisfied with the work and services. The tech working with my niece was very kind with her, and my mom and I both felt our techs were professional and friendly. A thing we both noted and appreciated was that when cleaning our cuticles, they did not go too far back or "clean" too much leading to any sort of cuts - it reminds me of my nail spa in Philly who also does an excellent job as well.
