Driving through Regina on the way west. Decided to try this place because it was across the parking lot from the hotel we were staying at. It was a Monday night and dead, so the food should have been great. We were seated in the bar area and given menus and water. I decided on a Clubhouse with fries and gravy on the side, and my wife went for the Lasagne. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive (which was alright, even though the place was empty). Funny thing was, we still weren't asked if we wanted something to drink. My Clubhouse was fine (hard to screw that up, really), and the fries were okay, but the gravy was lumpy. The lasagna promised so much, but delivered so little. From the menu: Traditional Lasagne Homestyle Italian meat sauce, loaded with Ricotta and Mozzarella, between layered lasagne noodles. Oven baked, topped with shredded Parmesan and Mozzarella. Sounds good, but was nothing like that when it arrived after a so-so Cesar salad. First of all it was served on a bed of Hamburger Helper type lasagna noodles. There were no layers, as promised. On top of the noodles were cheese, then a meat sauce, then cheese on top, served in an oval chafing dish that had been salamandered just long enough to melt the cheese on top. The meat sauce tasted odd, with way too much of what tasted like Sweet Basil. The garlic bread was kind of chewy. Not really "Traditional" at all, really. Dinner for two, no drinkables (still never offered!) and tip (Hey, maybe it was his first day) came to around $55.00. Honestly, I've had better for cheaper. read more

I've been going here for years and it recently must have switched owners. previously the food was to die for and the service was phenomenal. I ordered the BLTC salad as it is always a favorite, they now only give you one cold/old chicken finger for a topping, 3 crumbles of bacon and no cheese plus I had to ask for dressing. when I complained (which I don't normally do) the waiter said "yeah that happens". the salad cost 20$ and was worth 5. will not be returning read more

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on the way to the airport. There was nothing to complain about, the reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 was based on our server. She was friendly, but I feel she was overwhelmed, and possibly new. This Rickys is surprisingly nice compared to other, older locations I have been to in Edmonton (where I am from). It had a very fun vibe to it. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese - it comes with Cesar salad and it was surprisingly delicious. The portion size was perfect as I was starving! Very flavorful and tasty. My dad had the Radical Burger and my mom had a salad. Everything was really good. The hot food was hot, the cold was cold. The food came out quickly. I went to Ricky's for the first time last night for a late dinner with my family. The server was great. She was friendly and a she took great care of our table. The interior was also very nice. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and is being very well maintained by the staff. The main problem with Ricky's is the food. Our table had three prime rib steaks and a veggie burger. The veggie burger appeared to be something that was bought pre-made and then frozen and warmed up to serve. The steaks themselves were cooked correctly but criminally under seasoned. Had that been the only issue, this would have been a 3 star, but the garlic mashed potatoes were terrible. They were clearly powdered potatoes, and the taste was just off. My girlfriend described them as tasting like a car air-freshener. Overall, the service was great. I think Ricky's would be fine if you wanted to watch the game and enjoy some nachos or wings with a beer. There's too much instant-food and microwave cooking going on for me to recommend this place for anything beyond that. read more

The food was decent, but was cold, they offered to remake it, I just didn't have the time. I noticed others food coming out really fast mine took longer for sure. My luck it would come back worse. The waitress didn't seem happy, but guy I believe a manager was really cool. Great guy. Gets all the stars here. From what I ate it was good, just cold. Cool interior! read more

Decent food but the service was bad. Waited while people who came in after us were fed and done and gone by the time we recieved our food.

Now I realize why it's called Ricky's All Day Grill, you have to wait all day to have a meal. On the plus side, after sitting for 45 minutes without having someone take our food order - the server was too busy to bring us the bill for our drinks so we got them for free. I went on a couple of occasions for breakfast. The food was good if not a bit expensive for a breakfast menus. This is just another franchised restaurant nothing revolutionary. The menu size seemed smaller than other locations I have visited. read more

First time going here, not impressed. Steak was not cooked and very fatty. Poutine was cold and looked like it had been sitting around for 20 minutes before served to us. Service was very poor, our meal took 50 minutes to come to us and the waiter was very rude. read more

i order a god danm steak sandwich medium rare and all they gave me was a pice of garlic toast and a well done no over well done microwave steak i will not be coming back read more

The wait staff were wonderful, but too few working on a noon hour. We waited 45 minutes for our food. When it came, it was COLD and should have been HOT. Will not visit again as this was our 2nd attempt to enjoy this restaurant. read more
