Entrance to club house and BBQ restaurant

I could rate this 5 stars. We ARV June 21, 2018 summer is starting and it is 50F at noon. Then started to rain. Got to avoid the elk and deer on this course. Very flat in a huge valley. Golf course was beautiful as were every course I played in Colorado but boy it was too cold. No humidity. See photos this place been here 101 years. Had a bbq restaurant that was just excellent. They had bbq BUFFALO RIBS

Such a beautiful place to play golf and experience the elk coming down for the sweet grass. We had to get creative in the holes we golfed but was okay to play around huge elk surrounded by snow caped mountains.

On the last lesson we were canceled for unforeseen reasons (they cancelled on us) which we are completely reasonable and understanding people "Hey no problems". Come to find out a couple wks later when we log in to book the last lesson and buy more.. surprise there is no credit.. I reach out to them in a "maybe it slipped through the cracks in the horrible event that caused the cancellation." And the response was.. "Yes it probably expired. I can put it back on his account. Are you wanting to get in this month?" To which I replied yes. No credit and no contact since. Very unfortunate as I like to support local owned, Yet I don't like being took for good money either. Weird and odd that the package expired in such a short time. As I was not told it would expire in less than 6 months considering I paid it all upfront! We also felt on the "last couple" lessons that it was rushed and really wasn't welcoming to "practicing" with the screen. It was hit a couple balls and then instruction with maybe 3-4 practice balls after instruction, which I found to be pointless. That's why we "pay to play" My son is very respectful and responsible. We have been told by every teacher he has had thus far how well mannered he is. So I'm sure it wasn't bc he acted like a little hellion jerk. Needless to say my interest in buying another package diminished after that! We will just keep going to xgolf and practice w/ the simulator there an paying for private lessons, when we are not out on the greens! .

I had heard about Scheels for years but never stepped inside one. A friend of mine from Minnesota…read moreused to drive past the huge Scheels billboards whenever I visited, and for some reason I assumed it was more of a farm supply type place where people bought machinery and work clothes. Because of that completely wrong assumption, I never bothered to go in. Fast forward a few years and after reading the reviews here in Colorado I finally decided I had to see it for myself. Yesterday, March 6th, the weather was miserable. Cold, windy, light snow and rain. Not the kind of day you want to be outside, let alone skiing. So I figured it was the perfect day to finally give Scheels a try. I ended up spending five hours in the store and taking more than 250 photos, and this place absolutely blew my mind. There were sports and equipment sections I didn't even know existed. The store truly has everything you could possibly need and then some. What impressed me most was the staff. They were knowledgeable and helpful but didn't hover every five seconds like some stores do, which allowed me to really explore and absorb everything. The shoe selection was outstanding with every kind of running shoe, ski boot, work boot and outdoor footwear you could imagine, and the shoe staff were clearly well trained helping customers. I also spent about 45 minutes in the luggage section, which was surprisingly impressive. It's clearly a curated department run by someone who truly understands travel. I spoke with a luggage specialist who I believe is from Asia and a serious world traveler herself. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately understood what I meant when I told her I was tired of hard-sided luggage and wanted something built for an active lifestyle. She introduced me to a beautiful 100-liter Patagonia rolling duffel with durable wheels, strong zippers, and soft-sided construction that can actually handle real travel. These types of bags come with lifetime guarantees on the wheels and zippers, and now I'm officially saving my pennies to buy one. The store itself was alive and buzzing with families, couples, hunters, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere. The only section that felt a little thin was the women's golf apparel where most of the XS sizes were gone, while the men's golf section was very well stocked. Parking was plentiful and easy. Scheels isn't just a sporting goods store. It's an experience.

Colorado gifts, Denver broncos, nuggets, and avalanche collectibles. Hunting, fishing, guns, ammo, knives, barbecue supplies, a sportsman's dream come true. I was blown away by the customer service, kindness, and kindness professionalism of these owner-operators. I just wish it were a little closer to my house.

And shopping for equipment at the Longmont 'Play it Again Sports' was the best experience I've ever had. My kids were signed up for hockey, but my husband and I had never played so we we were really overwhelmed with what we needed to buy and after shopping online, we were suffering from serious "sticker shock." The gentleman who helped us delivered better customer service than we could have expected from anywhere. He gave us over an hour of his time, explaining what we needed and why, helping us shop the best deals ... we absolutely couldn't have done it without him. We are super appreciative of his expertise and patience! The store was clean, organized, and every single employee was kind and knowledgeable. I will never shop anywhere else for sports equipment - I don't care if there's a better deal somewhere else. The customer service, atmosphere, and assistance when I'm unsure of which gear is invaluable. Thanks again for getting our family off on the right foot and setting our kids up for a successful season of hockey! You all are AWESOME! See you next season!
