I went into the Rode Home bike shop in downtown Worthington yesterdaYes to look at electric bikes! The guy in back never came out from behind the desk to ask if he could assist me. iI'd been looking at electric bikes online, knew which brand was a better bike, the Aventon saw one and that man never gave me the time of day, no greeting no nothng! I even called my bf and was telling him they had two bikes I liked! He never offered ANY info about the bike, price, anything! I had to keep going back to him to ask questions as he was rude and offered no assistance!!!! I bought that same bike elsewhere, actually I bought two electric bikes! please don't shop at Ride Home Bike Shop, you'll be so disappointed!!!!! read more

A cool shop. It has bikes and coffee, what else could one want? The bike stuff is priced okay compared to other independent bike shops, and the selection is of good quality. If you like fancy pour over coffee, it isn't that expensive. The owner is a friendly fellow and knowledgeable. It beats the bike store and coffee chains. It's locally owned and the owner seems to be the only employee. There are several bikes for sale. It has a good selection of accessories. The gloves are about $30, but they look to be of good quality. It's not cheap for anything here, but prices are comparable to many independent bike stores in the area. They also offer bike repair. As for the coffee, it's fresh. The pour over is great. It's about $3.50 for a cup. The fancier coffees are about $6 each, but they are probably good. It has the bike stuff at the front. It has places to sit in the rear of the store. The store is probably too noisy for relaxing with coffee if they're working on bikes and making coffee, but is good if you need some coffee and look for some bike parts. read more

This place is great. The coffee is excellent (got a chemex with something from ethiopia), but also the whole concept is cool. A bike repair shop and a coffee shop? This is the ultimate expression of doing exactly what you want to do. I tell my kids all the time to figure out what they want to do, get somebody to pay them to do it and they'll never work a day in their life. Love this place. I get tuneups there and they always do a great job. I bought a cool bike for my wife there at a reasonable price and they were great about sizing and maintaining it. So glad to have a shop in the area that's personal and competent. read more

I've had my e-bike tuned up here twice. The most recent time was after I had a flat tire on a ride. They fixed the flat and tuned up my bike in a day! My bike rides better now than when it was new 3 years ago. I highly recommend this shop even though I don't drink coffee. read more

This place is the reason to support local businesses! I was on a bike ride with a friend who had to borrow an older bike for the ride. 5 miles into our 25 mile ride, the chain on the bike started slipping and the gears were shifting on their own! I remembered seeing this shop in Worthington while at the farmer's market. We were close-so I took a chance that they would be open and able to help. Even after stating that he was completely booked that day, the employee took pity on us and put the bike up on the rack and quickly fixed it for us. He even insisted that we didn't owe him anything for the service! From now on, this is my bike shop! And, I'll be referring any friends in need of new bikes and/or repairs to this shop!! read more

This place is odd. I stopped in here for a coffee and someone who was working on a bike stopped to go over and make me a cup of coffee. So now I feel like I have interupted the bike mechanic who has stopped working to make me one cup of coffee. Felt like I was sitting in a garage drinking a cup of coffee. As a cyclist I may be back for bike service but this is not a coffee shop. It is a shame as Worthington really could use a good coffee shop but woe to anyone who tries to make something happen in this zip code. read more

As a sometimes bike rider, I have to give lots of praise to Ride Home. I had my bike repaired there, and they did it faster than promised, and at a very reasonable price. Most importantly, when it wasn't exactly as I wanted it, they admitted their mistake, apologized, and fixed the problem with absolutely no hassle. Very cool space with a surprisingly varied offering of coffees. The bikes overwhelm the coffee side of the business, but this is most likely by design...I had an expectation of coffee first, bicycles second and this is simply not the case. Very friendly service by the gentleman who prepared my drink, and ample seating was available when I stopped in. read more

Second time this great spot has saved my bacon. Hit the Olentangy Trail and was very low on air. Rode a mile up from the river to this place and they filled me up. No charge. Second time they've done that. They are peeps who love what they do. You'll love them if you're a biker or love coffee. read more

I got a flat tire while riding through Worthington and I walked my bike to their store... They were fast, friendly, and helpful. They fixed me up right there, let me know what my bike needed but didn't try to up-sell me. Actually, they searched until they found the lowest priced items they could w/o me asking them too. They talked to me about my bike and some best practices moving forward and got me out for a reasonable price. Kate and Chris were super nice to boot. I'll tell my friends for sure. read more

This is a bike store with a coffee and tea shop in the back. I came in here after getting a mani next door. The environment is chill and laid back. The employees are super considerate. I was worried about my nails so after I bought my toll house chocolate chip cookie, he helped open it with a scissor! Also, I wanted to add some things to my masala chai tea, which he also helped with like opening the sugar container. I would totally give this place a five star, but I wish there were one more couch with a small table in the back. If I come back in the future, I'd like some hope that space will be available for me to sit down and drink my tea while reading. Since there's one couch and two tables, I am not sure I'd definitely make it a point to come out of the blue... I think it's more likely ill be back if I get another mani or if I am in the area for some other reason. Other than that, I love how engaged this shop is with the local community. There are fliers and post cards of local events (arts and culture), a few magazines (aesthetics and community building)... And a diverse looking coffee menu. I didn't come for the bicycles this time, but I imagine they are just as knowledgeable and connected with their bike merchandise as well. Wish I could give a 4.75! Or 4.5! Locally owned, family run bike shop with coffee and tea. Best tea I have had in the area. Pretty cool how they filter it and serve it to insure the taste is spot on. The extra few minutes make all the difference over a chain coffee shop. Not a coffee person but after watching the process to filter the fresh beans and prep each filter/serving individually I have to imagine that it is equally excellent. Lots of cool flavors to choose from. For tea, I recommend the Assam breakfast tea. Little area to sit and relax or peruse the impressive array of bikes and gear. read more
