The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile that immediately made the visit feel more comfortable especially for a dental appointment. The staff and dentist were very kind and made sure I was comfortable during my tooth extraction. They even had water, coffee and tea available, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. My family and I (family of 7) were going to this hussiness for years. 2 of my children have gotten braces from them. My husband a tooth extracted. Many fillings, unfortunately. We never had any issues. Service was always great. We brought ALOT of business here. We also referred 2 other families. Needless to say my family and I will not be returning. I had a horrible interaction with one of the girls that deals with payments. She was extremely rude and then when I asked to speak with her manager he also was rude. Unfortunate because the dentist themselves and the hygienist are great. Horrible customer service though. read more

I've waited nearly a year before I posted my review because I wanted to give a comprehensive review and wanted to see if the practice would resolve the issue. It has not! March 16, 2024, an already partially cracked tooth split in half. I procrastinated and didn't get the crown in a timely manner as my regular Dentist had advised. Mainly due to the cost. I went to my regular Dentist and she tried to see if the tooth could be saved but it couldn't. She advised me on my options. During this, I discovered that the Dentist I'd gone to for a couple of years was actually out of network and hadn't realized it because I never owed a balance. Well, now I needed an implant and this costly procedure would result in a greater out of pocket amount so I went in search of an in-network Dentist office. This brings me to Valley View and boy do I regret it! Initially, I saw Dr. Shah on March 20, 2024 I believe. He was nice, personable and attentive. He put me at ease somewhat because I'd never had an implant or any other major dental procedure. And having a major dental procedure at an unfamiliar Dentist office was even scarier. He assured me that they do this all the time and I'd be fine. We talked through the process. He removed the remaining part of my tooth, implanted the screw/post, did the bone graphing and placed a sort of temporary tooth (so I wouldn't have an empty space but still was advised not to chew on it) on March 21st. That needed to heal for 3-6 months I believe it was. I went for a follow-up on April 8th and that was with Dr. Shaw I believe as well. He said things looked good. I was having sensitivity but thought it was a part of the healing process. I believe my next check-up was June 22, 2024. I believe it was at this point when I was advised that Dr. Shah was no longer with the practice and I saw a new Dentist. My next appointment was August 10th. I was told that I could get the my crown. The new Dentist took a mold of my mouth and pulled out my bottom crown in the process. I believe her last name starts with a "P". She asked if it was "old" and maybe that's why it came out. It wasn't. I'd never had that happen before. Next appointment, August 21st when my crown was finished. The same Dr. P had trouble getting the crown on and required help and shaved down my crown on the bottom tooth to try to adjust my bite to the new crown. My bite has changed and I know it has because I'm not able to pop my gum on that side anymore. I know that sounds silly but it's a way to know that something has changed with my teeth. I feel pressure in my teeth on the right side like my bottom teeth are pressing into my top teeth. The Dentist advised that I may be grinding my teeth in my sleep which may have attributed to the crack in the first place. I have never been aware of grinding my teeth (meaning I couldn't feel it); however, now because of the pressure I feel like I'm grinding even when awake. All of these appointments that I've listed, I made them aware that I was experiencing sensitivity in the area of the implanted tooth and other areas of concern. I literally had a list saved in my phone. Dr. Singh at one of these appointments even prescribed a round of antibiotics "just in case" the sensitivity was being caused by an infection although there was absolutely no signs of an infection. I don't like taking medication just for the sake of it but did as I was advised. I finished the 10 days of antibiotics and still no relief. So, I go back with more questions and inquiring what could be causing the sensitivity. Dr. Singh tells me he's the owner of the practice then suggests a procedure of removing some of the root from the neighboring tooth. I asked would this fix the issue. He seemed to think so. Again, wasn't clear on why we'd take root from a perfectly healthy tooth but he seemed confident that it would resolve the issue. But he said that he needed Dr. Shah (who is no longer with the practice) to be a part of the procedure. After the office coordinated with Dr. Shah, they scheduled the procedure for December 23rd 2024. I was flying out the very next morning for the holidays and didn't want to have an oral surgery so I asked could we reschedule. It is now 5/12/25 and they have yet to reschedule. I've called. I've gone in the office in person and still nothing. If Dr. Singh is the owner why would Dr. Shah need to be present? Isn't he responsible as the owner to rectify the situation? This one tooth costs about $7400 and of that I paid over $2000 out of pocket. I am not satisfied with the implant. The tooth's color is okay. But it's smaller than my surrounding teeth and the orientation is slanted instead of vertical. I have sensitivity whenever I touch the area or floss and the initial post was implanted over a year ago. Why is it sensitive? I never had sensitivity prior. I do not recommend this Dentist office! read more

I've had great experiences with Valley View Dental in Romeoville overall. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and very attentive during each of my visits. I truly appreciate the care I've received, and today's appointment to install my permanent crown went smoothly from a clinical standpoint. However, I was disappointed by a billing issue that came up today. During my December visit, I paid my balance in full for the gum fillings I received. I was told at that time that everything was covered and paid. Today, I was suddenly informed that there was an outstanding balance because insurance didn't cover as much as originally expected. This was presented not as an estimate, but as a finalized amount, so it was frustrating to learn after the fact that the cost had changed. I completely understand that insurance can be unpredictable, but I do expect clarity and accuracy when I'm told a procedure is fully paid. It doesn't feel good to be told weeks later that the amount is different. I'm sharing this feedback not to take away from the great staff, but in hopes that billing communication can be clearer and more accurate going forward. I value the care I receive here, and I want to continue feeling confident in both the treatment and the billing process. read more

Love the office and the care, but if you need to reschedule for any reason it takes months. My daughter has a school commitment that just came up in September, they told me their next available appointment is January 2025. My goodness, hire more people or stop taking new patients. Chipped my front tooth and wanted it fixed right away because I had an event to attend the next day. I couldn't get an appt with my regular dentist in Naperville and had to go to Romeoville location. Dr. Mirette Hanna was able to squeeze me into her schedule. She was so gentle and thoroughly explained what she was doing. I can tell she has a passion for fixing broken teeth because she took her time to make sure that it was properly fixed and I don't accidentally chip the tooth again. She ended up fixing my two front teeth because the other tooth showed some wear and tear from me grinding my teeth. She is so gentle, and so professional...I was at ease in her chair. Very disappointing visit! This was my first time at this office - AND MY LAST! I came in with toothache pain and left an hour later with the same pain and no plan to move forward. Really did not feel welcome here at all. The tech was rather rude, and seemed to be running the show? I saw her first and last! Like, what does the dentist actually do! The dentist was trying to pass me on to another dentist that comes in once a week!!!! SEVEN DAYS AWAY!! I got a follow up call after I left a review for them. The office manager wanted me to come back in for another TALK! Are you all serious??? I really felt that I was not important to them and when someone comes in for help - they expect MORE!! The remodel of the office is awesome and makes things feel more spacious. I am always greeted warmly by the women at the front desk when I come in. Brought my Mom to Valley View Dental for the first time all the way from Wheaton as it came highly recommended. From the moment you enter the receptionist is super friendly as are others we met. They asked if we wanted coffee or tea. Then we filled out paperwork and went to see Dr Paul Singh who got xrays done for my moms mouth which was swollen. Found out her cavity was infected. Dr Paul Singh has an amazing bedside manor! He gave her prescription to reduce swelling and a treatment plan. When you care about your loved ones you want the best treatment for them and I will be taking my mom here from now on! So grateful for Valley View Dental! read more

I had to change my dental practice due to insurance issues. I picked this one because it had a very good rating on several internet rating sites. However I was disappointed after the first exam. - The technician's hands touched computer keyboard and other surfaces then touched the inside of my mouth. (Amidst the raging of Covid-19 pandemic). Not one, but multiple times because she had to place the bite wings in my mouth to take X-ray. I had to ask for dental rinses. The dentist requested a pen to make notes on the exam but the tech did not seem to hear it, she just looked at some program on a tv screen, which hanging above the exam chair. - It looked like there was only one dentist tge time I was there. This dentist was examining me while was also working on other patients. At the same time! He was just all over the floor, running from one patient to other patients and back. - There are exam "cubicles" with a very open setting, not a true exam rooms as I have seen at other dental practices. I could see this one patient laying next to my exam cubicle with all the dental tools laying around and could hear conversations. No privacy. Talk about HIPPA. In addition, aerosols coming from ultrasound cleanings in this open cubicle setting will contaminate the air of the whole floor. - I made appointment ( in writing) with one particular dentist, but the dentist showed up was a different one. All in all, I don't have a good feeling about this practice. read more

This dental office actually looks very inviting, clean, and modern, but everything else is a joke. To start of, one of the front desk ladies is as rude as she can get. Her in person and telephone manners are lacking significantly. She literally took it upon herself to give me unwanted dental advice over the phone. The wait was pretty average compared to other dental offices. However, the actual service with the techs and dentists was not okay. I walked out feeling like I visited a car dealership and not a medical establishment. What is it with these dentists being so pushy about dental procedures. I have been going to Valley View for several years now. The office was clean and has also been recently modernized. When I go the receptionists and other staff know me by face and name. I have never even been harassed for useless services like I was at my former dentist. The only negative is not the wait time in office, but to get an appointment. I try not to miss my scheduled times because if I do it may be weeks before I can get another. Overall I love this office. Clean, modern, and staff is knowledgable. I took my 4 year old daughter for her very 1st dentist visit yesterday and it went so smooth. The staff here are professional and friendly. They were patient with my daughter and helped her get comfortable. She did so well they let her choose a toy from their "treasure chest". They even offered chocolate flavored toothpaste. She left with a new toothbrush, floss, a container for her tooth when it comes out and stickers. I could not have asked for a better 1st time visit for my daughter. I may even start going here! I'm only going to give 2 stars because all of the staff was so pleasant. This was my first time to a dentist in decades. Before I finished my check in with reception, I asked about possibly being billed because I didn't know what my insurance would cover, and I'm having a rough time financially right now. I was told that I could be billed after everything was figured out. I accepted that and went on with the appointment. When it came time to actually do work, I was told that I couldn't be billed, and my appointment abruptly stopped. This is frustrating because I left the office still in pain, and because I work the night shift, I wasted valuable sleep time to essentially have a few pleasant conversations. I will give them a second chance now that I know, but I am not going to get my hopes up. read more

I recently moved to Romeoville and needed to find a dentist right away because I needed a root canal. Everyone that works there is so friendly, I've never been to a dentist or doctors office with staff this friendly and courteous. They have a coffee bar that many seem to enjoy(I don't drink coffee). Each room has a tv with direct tv and they offer to put on whatever you like. It does help when you are laying there and is definitely better than staring at the ceiling. My wife and I are very pleased with Valley View and if she is able to continue to recruit our friends to the area, we would send them here. read more

My first experience here was horrible. I made my appointment days in advance and was told to print and fill out the new patient forms prior to my arrival. My appointment was for 8:45am. I arrived on time with all the appropriate paperwork completed. The person at the front took my paperwork and said to have a seat. At 9:15 I will finally brought to the back. I chatted briefly with the dental assistant on the reason I was there and continued sitting there for another 20 minutes before I saw the Dr. The dentist came in and instructed the dental assistant to get X-rays. By 10:00a the office manager was walking in with a treatment plan which was completely off from what I was just told. She asked how everything was and I asked if this was how they treated first time customers. I sat for an hour, saw the dentist for 2 minutes and had an X-ray done all for what? I was there in pain and left in even more pain when I learned I selected the wrong dentist/office because the service here was horrible. I will not be back. I would like to start by saying the Doctors and staff are very nice. I can not speak to the work they do on real teeth, but I am writing to say the work the lab they have hired to make the dentures are the worst I have ever seen!!!!! I have not had my plate for 2 years yet. I have had 2 teeth fall out. My Husband has had 5 fall out. We have given up taking them back to be fixed because they charge each time over 100 dollars and the work they do is awful. So we have gone to using superglue and doing it ourself..... I had a previous set of dentures for almost 20 years and NEVER had a tooth fall out.... I know a lot of people and family that have dentures and NEVER EVER have I EVER hear of anyone say they had a tooth fall out of their denture.... I would never recommend anyone to this office for dentures. Stir clear... Your better off having a set wittled out of wood.... read more
