Was told to come here for the burnt ends. I was not impressed. The meat wasn't cooked enough to render out the fat and collagen so they were dry. Burnt ends should melt in your mouth. The sauce they serve them with was very good though. Mac and cheese was dry, flavorless and rubbery. Turkey was excellent. Brisket and pulled pork were good. The garlic pepper sausage was great. Nice restaurant. Service was friendly. We ordered the brisket burgers which was the special that night. It was so very salty, I could not eat it. It tasted like someone dumped a bucket of salt on some left over smoked brisket and formed them into patties. Never again will I ever order bbq patties from any bbq restaurant anywhere. Lesson learned. They have good reviews so maybe their ribs, pork and beef bbq are delicious. Order those instead and maybe you'll have better luck! We may try them again next time we're in the area just not their burgers. read more

Ridgewood Bros. is the best barbeque I've had in the past year in the state. Their brisket is dripping, the pulled pork is juicy and tender, and the sides I've had are incredible. The cheddar jalapeño grits melt in your mouth. I have high standards for cole slaw, and their cole slaw is good. Mac and cheese is good, too. The pulled pork nachos are good, but the chips could be improved. 10/10 read more

You can't pass this up if you like BBQ. Locally owned and run, I can tell that they really know their stuff and love barbecue. I have tried literally every kind of " well known" BBQ being from the Midwest. STL, KC, Memphis, and even Texas. For the longest time STL BBQ was at the top of the list "maybe I'm bias" but we would drive all the way to STL to Bogarts for the ribs. Then I had my first real Pit Style BBQ in Texas, and it was by far the best! But I had never had AR BBQ and I honestly never knew AR BBQ was on the map! Since we have moved to AR we have tried a few places, but when I say I have NEVER had BBQ as good as Ridgewood I was shocked! Like I said I didn't even know Arkansas was known for BBQ. I thought for sure the Texas BBQ I had was the best, and STL second, but now I have to completely reevaluate. Ridgewood has the best BBQ I have ever put in my mouth it was honestly a spiritual experience! The pulled pork was smoky and juicy, the ribs were so flavorful, and each side better than the next; I recommend the grits! Holy smokehouse smorgasbord! This place is the real deal. We ordered the Cyclone platter -sliced brisket, pulled pork, smoked turkey, sausage, and 6 sides - we got the green beans, coleslaw, cheesy jalapeño rice grits, banana pudding, and key lime crumble. All of it was bangin'! Every single item! The meats were juicy and flavorful and could stand up on their own but we had to taste the sauce. Both the mild and hot BBQ sauces were delicious. Portions are generous. You won't be leaving hungry. Not only was the food great but the service was too. Friendly, welcoming staff who get the food out hot fresh, and fast. I placed our order online and was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Their large seating area looked clean and comfy. We plan to try it out the next time we come as this is our new favorite place.
