For variety, our sides were baked beans, onion rings, corn on the cob, and the mac&cheese. The onion rings and mac&cheese were the best items on the plate. The brisket tasted as though it had been merely cooked in an oven. Not even a hint of smokiness, no smoke ring. Just a simple brisket with little to no flavor. Disgraceful. Our baked beans has 'globs' of what appeared to be pulled pork and resembled a ball of string the size of a golfball. Like the brisket, the pulled pork had no hint of smokiness whatsoever. When we ordered, we asked if the corn on the cob was fresh or frozen and we were assured it was fresh. Either it was frozen, or someone doesn't know how to cook corn on the cob. The kernels were broken down and mushy with no substance or texture. Our server was very attentive and polite. At no time did anyone else touch our table to enquire about our meal or experience. I got my order at my table before I could finish paying for our meal. I have been here twice. The second time I decided to stop here with a group of people in the crew van. We all got our meal really fast. Everyone enjoyed everything they got. I got a smoked turkey sandwich ant was delicious. Next I will probably add some bbq sauce that was on the table.
