I cannot say enough wonderful things about John Riedel and Precision Landcaping. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end and we look forward to future projects with them. He had a bid to us within 24 hours of meeting us while I had to chase down the other contractors who were bidding the work. Never has a remodel been so easy and seamless as ours. This was a major remodel which involved about 100 different people coming in and out during the course of the project and John managed every piece of it which made it very easy and stress free for me. Not only did he work hard to keep us within budget, he was also very proactive and creative in changes along the way. Our plans changed many times and John was very open to and flexible with these modifications. He also had some great design ideas which didn't occur to us initially but wound up making great sense in our yard. His crew was also exceptional. They were reliable, curtious, professional and very easy to communicate with. They worked hard and fast to make this project as least disruptive as possible. They were mindful of safety matters in regards to our young children and were wonderful about cleaning up and locking up daily. They went above and beyond many times, including working several Saturdays to get our yard ready for parties that afternoon. There was never a time when they did not follow throw or show up when they were scheduled. The crew is big and they have a lot of equipment which helped the project move quickly. I cannot imagine a finer crew and there is no one I would rather have at our home than this group of gentlemen. John is a one stop shop. He is very involved throughout and on top of the project. The backyard project we were involved with was going nowhere with the contractor we had hired. John Riedel was recommended to us. We contacted John, hired him, and the project went form frustration and exasperation to excitement and complete satisfaction! I would not think of hiring anyone else but John. We had a huge project to both our front and backyard including a buily in BBQ area, area around a pool, grassy area, garden box area and this was not a flat lot. He also later built a sport court when we no longer needed our play structure area. He also had lots of suggestions if we ran into some challenges with the plans we were using. He was also willing to inquire with others if he needed an extra opinion. His crew were always polite and cleaned up after themselves. John was great at inspecting the work of his crew to make sure it was up to par. He also is responsive if a few years later you need something checked out, or a plant didn't grow like it should have. In 2001 John came by our house and chatted with my wife about our back yard.He then went to his truck and came back with a can of spray paint. When I got there they said what do you thing of the new yard,A bunch of orange lines on the ground,Make the wife happy DO IT!! Two days later my back yard was a bomb zone,TOTAL demo.Then the crew starts moving dirt,pouring concrete,laying pavers,setting blocks,4weeks later.
