We use R.A.D. a lot for roll offs and porta potty's in our business. I have honestly always had really great representatives who are helpful and super knowledgeable. There's a time limit and rules on things. We had a mistake on one job recently and they quickly reversed a charge. I think they're a great company to deal with. read more

After years of horrible experiences we changed to Republic. Less money and more services!!! Friendlier staff also!!! Today - Right Away Disposal is such a train wreck! Just watched a roll off truck try to force me off the road #226, when that didn't work he absolutely forced a mini van to slam in his brakes and swerve to miss him! I immediately called (not so) RAD to alert them and got treated like a jerk, like usual. Asked for the driver management, I get transferred to the office manager, called back and asked Jessica a second time for anyone other than the office manager because I have dealt with her before and know she isn't one to be helpful. Nope, she's our only manager, only person in charge. I told her I absolutely couldn't believe that one office manager runs all of RAD and I'm disappointed that they don't care about the way their drivers are driving recklessly. Jessica replied with, "oh well. Have a nice day." When I told her I'd be sharing to FB, she practically challenged me to do it. Love them or the them is irrelevant. Their driver was being careless today and that should have been a simple call. Unfortunately they don't care. Never have it seems in my experience. read more

Personally, I don't understand all of the negative reviews. Our H.O.A. fired Waste Management a few years ago because they kept upping the quarterly fees OFTEN. Since the HOA switched to R.A.D. I have not had any problems with trash pickup. Our H.O.A. pays for the RAD billing directly and includes the fees in our yearly HOA dues. I have never had to personally call RAD about anything, so I don't know about their customer service. I do know that they do their job for our HOA and that I have nothing to complain about so far. I think they do a great job. NOTE: Where I live we don't have much of a choice except for WM or RAD. For me, WM would only score one star. RAD totally beats the pants off of WM in my opinion. read more

I have used RAD for years, after they failed recently to pick up my garbage on a rescheduled day do to a holiday I called and was on hold for almost 45 minutes(all along having to listen to how they are all about customer service). When I did get to a customer service rep I was told that she needed to talk to the dispatch manager to find out what happened and would call me back. I updated my phone number with her and waited for my communication from her. Waited all day, no call back. Got an email from Dorothy and she basically said that the missed pick up was my fault and made no attempt to reschedule a pick up or anything. They never take responsibility for their failures and the customer service they want to have everyone believe they care so much about doesn't exist. I've put up with them too long. Will be getting a new trash service ASAP. read more

These clowns double rates and can't figure out why everyone has canceled services with them. To top that, they refuse to pick up their cans for the last MONTH! FYI: If you call to schedule bulk pickup and question their services or refusal of pick up for cetain items, they'll put you on a list to have your trash checked upon pickup. Apparently they have the right to "audit" anyone's trash, essentially picking through it whenever they want to. They're pretty proud of the fact that they can reserve the right to go through your garbage at their discretion. Not surprised at their 2 star rating. read more

BEWARE! Right Away Disposal (RAD) says they can raise rates at any time without any notice and they tried to do just that to me! RAD sent me an invoice for over twice the price I had been paying for the prior, NOT future, pickups. That is like taking you car in for work, being told it would cost $100.00. and after the work is down, be told that the bill is $250.00 because we can raise our rates whenever we want and we don't have to tell you. When I bought this house, we contracted with Waste Management. Everyone on our road decided to go together and we negotiated a great price. Unfortunately, you have to watch these guys before before you know it, $90/quarter became $150/quarter. Enough of that. We then contracted with what became RAD. These guys are incredibly personable. The man who delivered the cans to our road was also a driver. He told us they're eager to get our business and was very polite. No problems whatsoever with their services. Two days ago, I got tired of stepping around some of the accumulated junk in the garage. I called RAD and asked them if they do bulk pick-up. They said they did and in fact, said they could do it 48 hours later. When does THAT happen? I put the stuff on the side of the road and the next day - they came and hauled it away. Most people don't pay much attention to garbage collection, but if you do and you have RAD, you'll find some very polite and conscientious people. P.S. - The cans are some of the coolest in the Valley - they're BROWN and match the environment. :) read more

OK like other customers that have been writing reviews I too am a very dissatisfied customer. Initially I signed up for Greenline disposal and they were very a good small local company who excelled at customer service. Right Away Disposal is just the polar opposite. When right away bought out Greenline initially they said everything was the same, first they cut me down from two days a week to one day a week, raised the price, and at some point they changed the holiday dates, typically if your pick up date fell on a holiday you would go to the next day for pick up. We received no notification of the change. When I called them I was informed the Holidays are on their website I don't go to their website why would I go to their website. They said they will come out and pick it up for an additional $25. Basically we getting less service for more money and terrible customer service. read more

I don't think RAD has any customer service skills what so ever. I called in at 800 am I was caller number 2 and 47 minutes later I am caller number one. I am still on hold. This is a waste of my time. They did not pick up our trash yet this week. My day is Thursday and there was not a holiday this week. I think I may have to go back to Waste Management. These guys used to be good and now it's a worthless service. They left us a note stating that they dont take car parts. I left plastic fenders out and they have picked other fenders up atleast 4x prior. This time they also picked up an old winch and winch cable but left the fenders - you know, because they dont take car parts lol. Called them and asked why their website doesnt mention anything about car parts but only batteries and wheels/tires. They made up some BS about their terms being updated etc... This is the first time I've felt compelled to review a company. I moved into Maricopa and ordered a garbage and recycling container from RAD first thing and was told it would be delivered that Tuesday. Long story short two weeks and several calls later I get my containers. Today was pickup day and there they sat. I was told that they picked up neither the trash nor the garbage because one was close to a parked vehicle and that a driver would be back by. After a second call this afternoon I'm told that no driver is in the area and apparently won't come back out to pick up until next week. So if occasional pickup and surly customer service is your thing, then give them a call. read more

I'm constantly find my can on it's side with trash in the street and in my yard I try not to over fill duo out any liquids so they don't stick and smell but for some reason captain trashdouce can't seem to figure out that the trash goes in the back of the truck..... like all the trash .... The worst ever. I did not choose RAD, they bought out AZ Sanitation in my town. Tuesday they missed our pickup again but picked up the neighbor. They have to drive past my cans to get theirs. Spoke to a supervisor and was told they would come back today by 6:00pm, it is now 8:00 and still waiting. Two weeks ago they miss my road all together called them on Wednesday and told them they didn't pickup on Tuesday said they would pick up on Friday. We let the neighbors know so we were all waiting. They picked up mine and then backed up several hundred feet to the corner and left. They didn't pick up the neighbors. They say their goal is to be the largest trash service in AZ. They better get their act together because I am looking for a new provider and if it means going back to Waste Management than so be it. At least they pick up. BBB complaint to be ma Update: Well they didn't pick up as promised called on Friday and told they will not pick up. When my husband said he wants to cancel they told him there is a charge to cancel when they refuse to pick up my trash on an account that is paid through the end of November I don't think so. On Monday we received a letter that they were no longer servicing our street and we would receive a refund. The next day they picked up my trash and cans. Still waiting on my refund. I've had him for a year and they've missed picking up our garbage three times they overbilled us they have not picked up my garbage in the last weeks nor have they picked up my neighbors in the last two weeks. Waited on hold as usual, they said would get a call back on Friday from the dispatcher to explain what happened and as usual with this company no one calls you back. Came home from work to find our trash had not been picked up, so called and finally spoke to a rep (after holding 35 mins). I explained to her that my grandson had made a mistake and put the trash too close to a parked vehicle on the street, therefore the non-pickup. I asked if there was any way for the truck to double back, and that I'd have the cans properly placed and was turned down. I then asked why the driver didn't get out of the truck and move the container himself as a goodwill gesture and was told the drivers are not allowed to exit their vehicle for "safety" reasons, but when pressed about debris spillage when dumping was told they can exit the vehicle for that. Their "Courtesy and Commitment" slogan falls way short in my humble opinion. read more

We live in an area recently bought out from Az Sanitation. We've not had our recycling picked up in over a month. We reached via their website initially, suspecting it boiled down to growing pains and new routes, but received no response. We called a few weeks later to be told there was no reason for the discrepancy and a reminder would be placed for the driver. This last week they failed to pick up the recycling again. We were then told it's because we haven't payed...but they've continued to take the trash bin? Payed thinking ok maybe the bill was lost somewhere between companies in transition and requested an invoice be sent to our email. The only email received was an advertisement and we discovered when checking banking we were double billed. While the service representatives have been polite the time an effort put into resolving this is becoming too much. Will update this review after our next phone call to their customer service in regards to correcting billing and whether they pick up our recycling today. Update 1/24 RAD removed the duplicate charge. The recycling was missed last week but they sent a truck out the next day. This week they failed to take the trash. read more

Terrible customer service or rather no customer service. After raising their quarterly rates with no explanation they notified me twice in June that my bill was unpaid. I notified them that it cleared my bank account May 8th. I was told the payment did show on my account and the "supervisor" would take care of it. Then the beginning of July they picked up my trash cans without notice. When I called at 8:15 am I wad told my account showed fully paid to date but was closed. Nobody knew why or by whom. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told she was in a meeting but would call me. 4 and a half hours later I called back and told she was in a meeting and nobody else could help me! 4 more hours still no call! I believe they need a working supervisor with some concern for customers. Looking for a new company! read more

We made a reservation for a concrete roll off to collect debris from a demolition job. A different size roll-off was delivered without any indication of the size difference and that we would need to only fill halfway to stay under their 10TN limit. Visually, this larger size looks very similar to concrete roll offs we've used on previous jobs so the onsite crew was none the wiser. We filled up as normal but were soon advised we would need to transfer half of the material to another receptacle to have it hauled off. RAD made NO effort in resolution and stuck to their 'it says in our terms that 10TN is the limit' even though the reservation was made for a different size that would have allowed us to stay under that threshold read more

This company is completely irresponsible! My neighbor has a big metal trash can and every time RAD picks up there trash they back onto my property all the way past my house! I live at the end of a dirt road and have a 2 year old grandson that lives here and frequently plays outside. I have told them numerous times to stop backing up onto my property! I pay to have it graded and I pay for rocks to keep it from getting muddy! They leave hugs ruts I the mud when it's been raining and smelly liquid drips from the truck. If my grandson or one of my animals is injured because of this companies Irresponsible business practices there will be hell to pay. My next step is getting an injunction so they will finally stop trespassing on my property! when I was in Hawaii a garbage truck backed over and killed a little girl! There is zero reason for them to continue to back up on my property. And it's not just like 10 feet but around 30-40 feet! Absolutely unacceptable! read more

Went for the first time because we are renovating the house and you can't put those items in bulk trash. Went pretty smoothly. You get a discounted rate being with town of queen creek trash. The negative is the rates aren't posted clearly so when it was $10 for if you kept it under one weight category.... seeing it be $44 was a bit surprising but we just had no clue how much the extra was. I have a similar problem to others, I did not choose RAD, they took over Az sanitation. I did not receive any notice or info from either company. I was on auto pay with Az. (Notices were sent to an old email address and marked as junk) Now I have now received a bill for $170.00. But they picked up my trash cans on 12/24/18. I am being charged for them picking up the cans, late fees, 5 months of service! (thru feb 2019) I am fine with paying them for the 2 months of service, but refuse to pay anything else. I didn't contract with them I didn't know my service had changed The emails they sent me, ended up in the spam folder and weren't seen until I recovered them, AFTER they picked up the cans and a neighbor told me they took over for the previous co. How was I supposed to pay a bill from a company I never heard of?? Trying to contact them is nearly impossible (took 45 minutes today) I was called 16. The serviceman dumped the container, slammed it on the ground overturning it. Left it upended on the sidewalk with the broken wheel in the street. He had to have known that he did not return the container back to the original location. The representative, in the office, told me that they will resolve the issue on the next scheduled pick-up. Meanwhile, I have an overturned, one wheel cart and have to clean up the "serviceman's" mess. This has happened twice. read more

I scheduled bulk pick up on the day after christmas and apparently they came at 7:00 AM. Thought my stuff was out but they made absolutely no effort to confirm, to tell me the pick up time would be about 7 hours before they generally pick up my garbage and will gladly accept my bulk pick up if I bring it by and give them $41.00 for saving them the trip. Unfortunately my HOA will only allow contracts with this company. I guess customer service is a lost objective for companies like this. read more

Idiots! Don't bother calling them, they don't pick up. I started out as caller number 45 and waited for 45 minutes. When I was caller number 4 they immediately sent me to voicemail!!!!! Are you kidding me!!?!?!?!! They skipped my recycling pickup yesterday, which is the reason I was calling. They actually skip my recycling pickups often. The trash guy is more responsible and almost never misses a pickup in the marana area. They usually send someone back to pick up the recycling within two days, if you can get a hold of them. RAD is cheaper than their competitors, so if that is more important to you then peace of mind, then you can choose RAD. read more
