He took a $200 deposit when he picked it up and then paid him $600 later, he came on his motorcycle to pick the rest of the money up before he told us he has not worked on it until we gave him the rest of his money. I had thanked him and explained to him that my family had been coming to this place for years to which he responded, "yeah but you didn't buy the ring from us". There were some other comments made, but I didn't process what had happened to me in the store until I got into my car. After talking to my parents and friends, I realized this was not acceptable behavior. The other man that had walked up to me was very sweet, but my experience as a whole sucked.

Turns out.. I waited 10 minutes total, but it felt like FOREVER... Anyhow... Helen reappears and she is ready to wait on me. She was very nice and informative and super smiley. I did not notice this initially due to only being concerned with the fit. While I was immediately invited back to fix it when I called to inform them that they scratched my ring and it was then buffed out - I am still confused and disappointed that they would cause damage and not notice what happened before they gave it back the first time. The ring has lost quite a bit of its white gold look due to having to be buffed and will have to be re-dipped already - and I've only had it for a few months. I hope they learned to pay closer attention to their work and unfortunately I will not be using their services again.

So go to several places and ASK what your items weigh on their scales, get their price quote, then decide where you'll sell your items!
