Service here is phenomenal. Noreen is fabulous and anticipates exactly what you need. Very attentive. Food is very good. Fluffy eggs, served perfect temp. Home fries were perfect! Love their spices. Bacon was served exactly how I love it, crispy but not burnt. The omelet: spinach, tomatoes, cheddar was good but I wasn't a fan of the cheese slices on top-rather have it inside the omelet, personally preference. The coffee was excellent too. My only recommendation would be for them to have a nondairy creamer or lactaid for those of us who are lactose intolerant. This is an adorable diner that serves great food at decent prices. This a cute little diner located near the rear exit of the historic McCoy stadium. This establishment is one of the few diners left in the city. They offer dine or takeout services and they have ample parking. The staff are very friendly and prompt. The menu is very straightforward. The meal prices are incredibly affordable and the meal portions are adequate. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a quick bite to eat. read more

Just finished eating here and were very happy. We both had corned beef hash with eggs, toast and home fries. Waitress was friendly, and attentive. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Total bill was $25 and that's including 2 drinks. Nice diner car too! read more

Came in here before a Pawsox game to get a hot weiner (I guess this is a Rhode Island thing I'm learning). I think the waitress was confused by someone coming in since she had this look of confusion if I asked I could order something. The price for the weiner with everything was very reasonable (under $2.50). It wasn't bad for the price, but if these hot weiners are raved about I think I still need to find another place that may possibly blow my mind. Overall I'm just giving it middle of the road, nothing spectacular and nothing horrible. I can see where possibly people have had issue with the staffs attitude but based on the food, you could do worse. read more

The Right Spot is a little hidden classic next to the old McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. I'm sure it was much more active when the PawSox were in town, but their moving on is no reason not to enjoy some straight-forward diner fare. On a recent weekend morning, the restaurant was not more than one third full, with regulars calling out each others names as they came and went. The interior is spartan with quilted aluminum accents, stainless appliances, formica counter tops, and red vinyl seating. This place feels like it jumped 80 years from 1943 right into 2023. And clean. Just spotless, with nary a crumb anywhere. The menu items are simple and straightforward variations on the classic combo of eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, homefries, and toast. There are, of course, pancakes and french toast available, too. I had an omelette, homefries, toast, and coffee. I've not had better anywhere in Rhode Island. And the prices are still 1943-ish. The regulars' banter was precious. The waitstaff very polite and just the right amount of attentive. A return visit is in order. read more

As someone who has been to many cafes, breakfast places, and does a lot of cooking, I can confirm that this place has by far the best pancakes. Not only are they MASSIVE, they are very, very cheap! I suggest going for the chocolate chip personally, there's so much chocolate in it, it's amazing! The other food is typical diner food, nothing too special, although it's interesting and nice that a little random diner offers some greek food alongside its standard fare. Lastly, the place is really laid back, never noisy, and the staff is excellent. You can grab a spot at the front, casually chat with the staff or the person next to you, and enjoy your massive, buttery, chocolate chip pancakes. read more

No, just no. You've probably seen this place if you've ever gone to McCoy Stadium because it's right out infront. The food is mediocre, which wouldn't stop me from coming back, because most diner food in the area is the same. However, our waitress was entirely rude. She started off with a huff and a puff like we just took her away from her soap operas, with a groaning "you wanna menu?" Uh yeah lady, we just sat down, are we suppose to put on our psychic hats to discover what we want to eat? Then we asked if they accepted credit cards. Huff.. puff.. No... cash only. Should have figured, it's only 2010. The rest of the experience just entailed being totally ignored and having food thrown at us and quickly walked away from. The place is tiny and empty, how do you have better things to do than be a mediocre waitress? Overall, the eggs and bacon didn't turn me away but there are plenty of average diners in town with better service, so I'll stick to those. read more

Grandpa Ben got us going there and he has been gone for 10+ years. Whenever we are in town to visit family, we HAVE to hit the Right Spot! Their hot weiners are incredible as are the onion rings! I make my own coffee milk [living in Maine and needing my fix] so I rarely order it out. This the right name for this Diner. The Right Spot. Breakfast the way it should be... I ordered 3 eggs over medium with homefries, bacon and toast. Eggs were actually over medium. The homefries were cooked properly ...a little crunch and browned on the outside, soft and cooked through on the inside. Bacon that actually looked like bacon... not some shriveled up scraps of meat being passed off as bacon. Coffee was fresh, not burnt, and they give you cream from a carton, not the little cups that have been prepackaged and stuffed on a shelf. Service was a bit slow, but she was the only waitress on when I was there. I would definitely recommend this place as a spot to try out if you visit McCoy Stadium. This is just what a local diner is supposed to be. Excellent breakfast special with good bacon, home fries, etc. Perfect grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. Not Starbucks, but strong fresh good coffee. I tried the local RI hot dog ... A Hot Weiner. Has mustard, sweet raw onions, celery salt and meat sauce. Interesting combo, but I guess I prefer Chicago's. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Maybe those who complained about them were at the diner during a pre-game crush. Best diner on Earth! The hot wieners are unreal, the homefries are delicious, and it is authentic. The place is tiny, so i like to go when it isn't crowded. I went all the time when I was a kid because my Grandma lived in Pawtcket. Now I live in Florida and can only get to New England once or twice a year. I always make it back to the right spot - even if I start a winter road trip in Springfield MA headed for Maine, I will go out of my way to eat at The Right Spot. The service has been friendly since I started eating there in 1985 without fail. It is also a great place to get an ice cream cone before a PawSox game on a hot summer day! It's a very "locals" and "regulars" kind of place but I still found it odd that the waitress was swearing and complaining about her life outside of the diner so much. I stumbled upon this place driving by Mccoy Stadium on my way to my Grandma's abotu 2 years ago. I guess you could say I that I now have become a "regular." Love this place, it's small but cozy. I'm in here for late breakfast/early lunch about once a month. It gets quiet after the breakfast and lunch rush- which is perfect for me because I enjoy eating my food when restaurants aren't packed. The food is good- I love LOVE their hot weiners! THEY ARE spectacular!! Breakfast is good- though I haven't tried everything - I usually get pancakes with sausage and homefries. The homefries are gooooood. The service experience I have has always been good. The waitresses are not sitting around watching my every move or kissing my *ss or anything, but neither have they ignored me or been rude. They seem polite and doing their job Right Spot has become a monthly "Right Spot" for my bell-ay! read more

We love the right spot! We usually get omelette Ham,cheese and onion which comes out perfect. We also like to get the cheese burgers and fries, the burgers can be on the well done side so order it Med, the fries rock with salt vinegar and ketchup! Oh and in the summer we get there lemon slush soooooo good! Great if you have a little one there's so much that my son eats from there menu even grilled cheese and tomatoes yummy! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars to add a little balance. In my personal opinion this place is under rated here on yelp. Look the foods good not great but hey it's a diner not a five star restaurant as far as diner fare it's some of the best I've ever had in fact I wager it's even better than some regular restaurants menus and I can think of a couple. But there are other factors here specifically price and location specifically in relation to going to a Paw Sox game. Let's face it they sell pretty much all the same basic menu items you could get at the ballpark and it's probably gonna save you some money. In my opinion it's the best place to get a pregame meal. Hence it's name the right spot diner. My most recent visit just before a Paw Sox game I had mozzarella sticks which were very delicious cooked to perfection which a very nice crunch and thick gooey cheese. The marinara is probably plain old tomato sauce out of a can no marinara chunkiness you'd usually get, but this isn't exactly an Italian restaurant. For my main course I had a veal patty on a torpedo roll and asked the server to put tomato sauce on it which she did. I asked for grated cheese which they didn't have, but I'll live. Only downside on the sandwich is it advertises as mozzarella cheese, however it tasted like American, but again I'll see another day. read more

This was hands down the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Went in for breakfast this morning. Waited 15 mins just to get our juice and the restaurant was practically empty. After waiting A HALF HOUR for two breakfast plates, our food came out. I asked for hot sauce the waitress said we don't have any and walked away. My English muffin was soaked in butter, cold and soggy. The homefries were tasteless, cold and mushy. The hash tasted like dog food and the color was off. I took one bite and told the waitress I didn't like it and she took my plate. I was handed a menu to order something else but of course was ignored so I chose not to order anything else. Please tell me why I was charged THIRTY DOLLARS. For food I didn't eat, told I didn't like, and after waiting such a long time. The service was awful but the food was worse. You couldn't pay me to go to this place again worst restaurant in town!!!! read more
