This last time, I switch to the North office off of Cleveland Ave and worked with Dr. Bradley Mehl who was a complete opposite! His bed side manner was incredible. He took the time to study l my ankles, checked out my range of motion, and then explained what was happening and recommended options. I though for sure he was going to just slap some orthotic inserts and call it a day like the other office, but he recommended first get the weight off with a boot and physical therapy while it healed. Was skeptical about the physical therapy at first but it made a huge difference. At the end I still ended up with orthotics because of my extreme flat footedness, but in the mean time while waiting for my orthotics to come in, he modified my old ones to give me a lot of extra support. Dr. Mehl is a very caring professional and the staff at this location were wonderful!

Dr. Thomas is exceptionally knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He clearly explained my issues and all available options. I have already undergone two complex surgeries with him and have another scheduled for July. Unlike many orthopedic experiences where long wait times are the norm, my experience here has been excellent. I have had post-operative appointments every two to three weeks since January, and I have only experienced one delay out of approximately twelve visits. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Thomas never rushes my appointments and ensures all my questions and concerns are addressed. I also want to commend the office staff; This is a very busy office, everyone is professional and incredibly helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. (The physical therapists that I worked with also supported this thought). I wasn't believed about my thought of heel spurs because I was "too young". Long story short... For nearly 2 years, I returned time and time again with increasing and unceasing pain. Tried several injections, PO medications, steroids, inserts.... No relief. He never once took an xray because he did not believe what I was saying about my symptoms... Finally got him to do an xray and whatta-ya-know, I had a heel spur. I went to a different doctor and within 10 minutes of talking to him, he *knew* I had a spur and that my heel had fractured {x-ray confirmed}. As a nurse, I work very closely with doctors. I see both sides as a health care professional and patient. I get to see and know the differences between a good phyisican and a poor one and honestly say, this was not good practice and I would never recommend this practice to anyone.
