This company did my close neighbor's roof and they were very nice to cover the windows facing the neighbors. So I give them big kudos for that. What I did not realize was that it was a mistake to sit outside with my devices. It was a warm day and now every one of them, MacBook, iPad, and iPhone, have screens covered with that sticky roofing foam and I cannot figure out any way to remove it. So this probably would not be a reason to reject this roofer, but it would be a reason to really warn everyone in the area if you do hire them. And if they happen to be reading this, please go beyond covering the neighbors windows. Tell everyone that the roofing foam is sticky and it goes a long distance from the roof being done. read more

These guys are installing new roofs on all the homes on my block in my HOA. First off my AC unit was working perfectly fine the night before and in the early morning BEFORE they arrived and started their work. Then out of nowhere my AC Unit won't even turn on. They try to tell me that the wires were fried and that it wasn't their fault. So in 113 degree weather outside I had no AC until 5 pm that day when I could finally get an HVAC tech out to come look at it and on the invoice the technician clearly stated the thermostat wire was exposed and it was caused by the roofing repair company. I had to shell out almost $300 for something that was working perfectly fine prior to their arrival. Then for the past two days they've been here so far, they have been blocking me in my garage multiple times each day and I have to wait around til one of the incompetent guys sees me and my garage open waving my arms around so I can leave. This Monday was the first day of school and I was trying to drive my daughter to school and they had a trailer parked in my driveway, blocking my entire garage and said because I had a for sale sign up they assumed nobody lived in the house, they never knocked on my door or anything that morning to check to see if anyone was home (we were home getting ready the entire morning). My daughter barely made it to school on time because I had to wait for them to find a truck to tow the trailer out of MY DRIVEWAY! Then today, one of the guys knocked on my door in the morning and asked if I work from home because he needed to disconnect my internet (I have no clue why), I said no and I said that was fine, thinking it'd be just temporarily. Well they left for the evening and my internet never got reconnected. I'm really pissed off. I couldn't watch tv tonight, I couldn't use my laptop tonight and I had work to do. These guys are rude and disrespectful of my property. I had anxiety just trying to leave my house and even driving back home because I knew something of theirs would be blocking my damn driveway. First thing to say is their service was amazing from start to finish for replacing the underlayment for my entire roof. The agents on the phone Amber and Candra (I hope that is right) who took my initial call were so empathic, patient and very informative because I was a reck and very nervous to start this process. They sent the rep Zach out who was just as patient, informative and well prepared with samples of their product and a Quote for the work before he came in to talk to me. This really to put me at ease to choose them over the other 5 quotes, I had entertained. The job was schedule fairly quickly after my decision was made. The Superintendent Javier on the day the work started was again empathic, patient and very informative because I was a reck and very nervous to start this process. He was very responsive to any questions I had, though I did not have many questions. We had both a tile section and a flat section on our home. Jerry and his crew led by Alex arrived exactly on time each day and did fantastic work on the tile section. They covered the entire perimeter with tarps and cleaned up each day. The tile section looks great. Hunter and his crew did a great job on the flat section. They too were on time, covered the ground beneath the flat section, cleaned up each day and did excellent work. While other quotes were a bit less expensive, we chose Right Way because of the quality of their product, reputation, warranties, and great follow-up. I received 3 quotes before deciding on using Right Way Roofing. They seem very professional, knowledgeable and the products they explained to me seemed slightly better. They were not the cheapest, but I thought they would do the job right. The communicated well with me for scheduling showed up on time and did the job. About an hour after they left I went into my garage to get something when I heard what sounded like rain. I found the source to be coming from my ceiling. I called the supervisor after I shut down the water main. He came back out to discover a roofing nail had pierced a waterline. The supervisor called someone, a man, that tried to talk the supervisor into doing the repair himself, but the supervisor was uncomfortable doing that (the best decision they made). Instead offered to give me a number of a plumber. I turned it down and called my own. The total damage from that roofing nail was about $1,600 to fix the waterline and the water damage. I talked to Lori about it and was basically told "since it (the waterline) wasn't up to code it wasn't their fault and they were not going to help with any of the damages." Then immediately ask for payment since they were done with the job. So what Right Way Roofing stands for is "pay us right away and everything else is on you". I am sure Lori will respond saying it wasn't their responsibility since it wasn't up to code, but there is no denying the facts it was their roofing nail that caused the damage and the supervisor was trying to be talk into the repair before they washed their hands of it, told me tough luck and stuck me with $1,600 in damages. These guys re-did my roof in 2018 and did a great job - quick, clean, and well-done. All contacts before, during and after the install were professional and courteous, showing obvious concern with both doing a very good job and pleasing me as a customer. Last week I noticed that a tile had become dislodged so I called and asked if someone could come out and take care of it. Supervisor Jerry was on the scene soon after and quickly replaced the tile that the dislodged one landed had on and broken when it pulled loose. Communication through the whole process was outstanding including Jerry texting me pictures of before and after. This is what customer service should be always. This is an update on a review that I had placed before. Right Way Roofing is not a credible co. They do not stand behind their co. Brought a complaint to the Registar of Contractors. They ripped off my roof left it bare & a monsoon storm on March 21, 2024 came through. caused all kind of damage to my interior of my home (Water Damage) to all ceilings & insulation. Lori sent out a handyman, a general contractor& a one man restoration. Co. Right way Roofing wanted to pick the restoration co. I disagreed. I felt I should find the company I felt comfortable with. Well we have been in litigation for 8 months. Needless to say the ROC FOUND IN HER FAVOR. She had a lawyer I did not. Eventho ROC inspector found my claims to be legitimate. My insurance company verified the damage & her insurance found the same. Never signed a contract either. Instead it was decided as a written unsigned contract by the ROC judge. That just goes to show you BEWARE I did my homework. BEWARE RIGHT WAY ROOFING does not stand behind any mistakes they make. No matter how severe. Had an appointment for a quote and the guy showed up 2 hours early. I wasn't home so when I saw him on my Ring camera I called and spoke to Heather and then a Lori to make sure he'd return at our appointment time. They basically said I was out of luck, blamed me for not being home, and said he was busy the rest of the day. I'm glad it happened though because I found a very professional roofing company with an excellent work ethic to repair my roof. After I discovered a roof leak that has probably been leaking since the house was built in 2018 (due to poor workmanship by the original roofing company), I called Right Way Roofing. Troy came to our house, found the problem, and gave us an estimate for the repair. He provided photos of the problem area along with the estimate. After I decided to have Right Way do the repairs, they called and gave me a schedule for the job. I was very impressed because they went right by the schedule. The materials arrived on a Friday as they said. A bit later that day, a trailer arrived for the debris. That same day, Javier, their superintendent arrived to check what was needed. The crew arrived the following Monday on schedule and began the job. Javier had a few other jobs to check so he wasn't present all day but when he was present, he sent me photos as the job progressed. The photos showed the extent of the damage which required them to replace three sheets of radiant barrier roof decking. The job took two full days. The day after the job was completed, the trailer with the debris was removed and they cleaned our driveway. While they were making the repairs, Javier sent me photos of the repairs. After the job was complete, they sent me the invoice which was for the exact amount of the estimate plus a change order for the three sheets of radiant barrier plywood which was not included in the original invoice because Troy did not have the cost of the sheets. I was completely aware that there would be an additional cost for the radiant barrier plywood. There were absolutely no surprises when I received the final invoice. I am very pleased with the job done by Right Way Roofing. As I said, they performed the work according to the schedule they gave me. I am confident they did a very good job and we should have no further problem with the sections of roof they repaired. I wanted to use this business, I found out they are actually RIPOFF the Right way Roofing. I have about 800 sq ft of foam flat roof thats about 1 year old. I have a small area 8' X 2' that the foam company foamed over the solar drain back pipe which created a dam effect. Which has caused a leak when rains. I'm working on moving the solar the solar panel up about one foot to relocate the drain back pipe. This way the small section of foam roof over the pipe can be cut out and foamed back flat. RWR will only do the job if they remove the entire 800' foam roof and re-foam. I had hoped RWR might be a honest roofing company but found out different. They claimed if they just patched the area they wouldn't be able to offer the 2 year warranty. If its only a 2 year warranty then this company's honesty and craftsmanship is questionable. The company that foamed my roof can and will take care of this which has a 5 year warranty on foam roofs. I have another shingle roof project and I just thought I could just have one company come in and fix both things right. They was questionable on possibly fixing the other project, its obvious they practice false advertising to the public on TV. read more

On Monday 24th of April we had an appointment for the salesman to come out and take a look at the roof that we needed repaired. He was nice enough (except for the gum which was quite unprofessional) he thought that he needed to consult with someone else about our job. Their name really says it all! This company, ran by the two kindest people you will ever interact with, Lori and Johnnie, indeed insure that roofing is done the "right way". Not just by the ROC standards but their customers as well. And let's face it, this is a huge stressful purchase, that typically comes as a surprise and can be a huge stress factor. Right Way works hard to remove that stress from you and make sure things are done in a timely professional manner. This company is extremely competitive when it comes to pricing, especially when you look at the materials they use, and services provided. They also do not collect payment until the job is done and the customer is happy. In the 10-12 quotes I received, this was the only company that did this, most wanted at least 50% down at the time of signing the contract. Furthermore, they offer a 30 year warranty on labor and materials. Which was unmatched by any other company I had quoted for our full roof. Most, if not all the companies I quoted only offered 10 years, and generally only on the material or defaulted to the manufacturer warranty duration. Back to payment, a lot of the companies we quoted also wanted to charge an additional fee if you paid by credit card or finance charges when using their financing options. Right Way did not nickle and dime their customers in this way. They did not charge extra for a credit card payment, they also offered free financing through a bank when applicants qualified. This company will treat you with respect by listening to your concerns and explaining the process in detail with patience. They know roofing! read more

I was in need of a new roof and received recommendations for four different companies. Right Way was not the cheapest but it was in line with the other estimates. After learning that there would be a supervisor on the job and the crew doing the work were all Right Way employees, I decided to use Right Way. Once I made the decision, they were able to get started on the job within 2 weeks which was much faster than I thought it would be. The crew showed up when they were supposed to and worked throughout the day. What impressed me most was the care and attention they provided to my property. They cleaned up the area and made sure the gravel in the desert landscaping was in good shape. The supervisor checked in with me throughout the process. The roof looks beautiful. The day after they left I had a semi-annual maintenance call for my A/C. I asked him to check around on the roof and to give me an assessment of what he thought. Just had Right Way Roofing to get the underlayment replaced under my tile roof. I have to say these guys were great to work with. Since I knew what needed to be done, they provided me with a quote based on measurements from aerial pictures. Then the inspector came out to walk the roof (on a Saturday no less). He was great about spending time to answer any and all questions I had, explained their process and materials, all that. The roofers were insanely hard working guys! They showed up at 6am every day, and didn't leave until 5pm. They pretty much got got right down to it and I think did a great job. After they were done, I think they left my property in better shape than it started in terms of clean-up. The final inspector came out and I saw him using a magnet to pick up any loose nails even! Called right way roof for a roof leak, came out Gary, seemed knowledgeable. Told us we had some repairs to do, we just wanted the leak fixed and we were going to recoat and maintenance other parts ourselves. We were told this was fine, and we chose the estimate with just the repairs for the leak. The difference in cost was over $10,000. We get scheduled out for about a month out, everything is busy totally understandable. Then the month comes and they kick it out a week, then another week, then another week, then days. Showed up when they felt like it, left a trailer in my driveway blocking my gates can't access my yard. Come back later, and show up unannounced. Go on the roof without letting us know. I go outside Carlos tries to sell me I need this I need that, I say I know, I have it all in the garage to do the maintenance once you guys are done. We don't need you to do it. I leave to go pick up my son, and Carlos tries to sell my wife on the same line. My wife says no we have the stuff we will do the maintenance we only need the repairs done. Carlos leaves unannounced leaves his trailer and they tell us we won't do the job unless you take the higher estimate of well over 10k. Then comes up with other excuses why the can't do the job. Then Laurie tries to blame everything on Gary. I asked ok can we go with the other estimate and she said yes. It's all about making 14k for a 2 day job, as opposed to 3k for the 2 day job. She says that nobody knew and nobody looked at it we didn't know it was this bad, (it is not that bad, had other roofers come out and inspect just maintenance issues). They had 2 months to have a professional look at the repairs needed. Concluding and from reading other reviews, this seems like there tactic of baiting homeowners with lower estimates, dragging things out, until the home owners are desperate and just need the repairs and just say yes to the higher estimate. We would have loved to get our roof repaired by them the day the said they would at the estimate they gave us. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They're rude, poor business practices, and only care about making a buck. It's very sad that this is what contractors are like now. Beware when you go with this company. We called Right Way because of a small leak. Had them fix the leak but also asked for a bid for the entire roof. Gary provided us with a competitive estimate for the new roof. Then Kevin came out to find and fix the leak. First and second attempt did not work. He then had Johnny (the owner) come out to take a look. Johnny found several leaks and had pointed out that the problems were actually because of the types of doors previous owners had installed causing the structural wood to rot and allow water to seep through. They quickly patched what they could and gave us several recommendations for a permanent solution. And gave us a referral for a handyman. Each time they came to our home they were respectful and very professional. This is a family company and they are very friendly. These guys put a roof on my house 15 years ago. It never didn't leak. It always leaked. They came out twice to fix it, but of course it doesn't rain often, only to find they never fixed it. I tried several other handy man guys to fix it, no luck. Being stupid and thinking they might be sympothethic, I called them again to recap the last 15 years. They sent two guys out to quote me, it took two weeks and me requesting a quote to get one. The girl from office calls me and says, we cant do that job for XYZ reason. She checks with Johhny Owner, he says we can do it. I asked if it includes work they suggested I get, they said no, need to rewrite the quote. A week passes, they call just now and said , we don't do that work, even though it was suggested was the root of my problem. Was told it would be 2 weeks before they could do the work. First stall was due to a shingle issue. Then stall after stall by not calling me back to set a date to do the roof. Called them several times trying to set a date, never got a call back to do so. Now 2 weeks turned into 4 weeks, still no new roof. Then the 5th week I finally get a date and time set for them to install a new roof after calling them several times to do so. AND THEY NEVER SHOWED! NEVER GOT A CALL to tell me they were not going to do the job. NOTHING from them at all. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL! They deserve a NO STAR rating. Then Right Way told me they would re-install my bird spikes already on roof and their workers also put up new ones I supplied without extra charge with Right Way oking that When job was finished and asked the job supervisor about some work needed around the area roof work was done. After soliciting 6 estimates in Dec and Jan for roof repair on a flat roof we chose Right Way. Three bids said we needed a roof replacement, and three bids were for repair/recoat. Of the recoat estimates Right Way was the highest, but the estimator (Gary) seemed very knowledgeable and the estimate was the most detailed. We signed a contract the end of January, we were told they were scheduling at least 6 weeks out and weather might extend that, so we were aware it might take a while. We finally got an appointment for work to commence on 23 April, so we did have a long wait. On 21 April I received a call from a manager (John?) who told me the roof was too far gone for a repair/recoat and they could not do the work. I reminded him we had a contract, and was told the contract was cancelled, that the sales reps were not "experts" on what may be needed. This immediately seemed to be a bait and switch situation as a replacement is much more expensive. Even if it was not intentional, my question is why was a contract written and signed, before an "expert" assessed the roof. I received a call from Gary apologizing for his "mistake," but in my opinion the mistake was managements fault for not having the "expert" on site BEFORE a contract was signed. The owner called my husband and offered to try and work us in the schedule for a roof replacement (!), but at this point this is not the company I would trust to do any work. I waited a full three months for work to commence, only to be told 2 DAYS before that it was not going to happen. Apologies and excuses were not much help. All of my other estimates expired in February, and I now have to start the entire process over. I have lost a lot of time and effort and there is really no way this company can make this fiasco "right." I am writing this review with intention to edit in the future if the situation changes. I get that people are busy but when it's been 15 days with no call to schedule the repairs after signing an agreement, it doesn't sit well with me. I'm giving it a couple of more days then will look for other companies that are responsive and willing to do the work. Update: exactly one month after signing the agreement for Right Way to do the work, I called and cancelled. I sincerely do not understand how you cannot have the courtesy to return two phone calls or make arrangements to do so in a one month time span. No matter how overwhelmed you are, it boggles my mind that I never got one phone call from this company. Save your time and energy and find someone else. read more

I can't say enough about this company. They use a quality underlayment, have a great warranty, and their price is comparable to other roofing companies. we were impressed by their work crew. The crew cleaned up every day before they left, did a great job on our roof and completed our job when promised! The crew supervisor came by after the job was complete to answer any questions and to make sure we were satisfied with the work. After he left my husband received a phone call from the owner wanting to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. We even received a handwritten thank you note from the owners! Horrible Experience. I contracted with Right Way Roofing to replace the underlayment on my tile roof. The first day on the job (Wednesday) the supervisor said they could not work around my solar hot water solar panel. The salesperson (Zach) said they could and that they moved solar hot water panels all the time. I had an explicit conversation with him (Zach) for know something about solar panels and the challenges they can be with re-roofing. He assured me there would be no problem. So, I had to jump through hoops trying to find someone to come out right away to remove the solar panel which added an unexpected additional expanse to my already expensive roof repair. The roofers were here Wednesday. Thursday and Friday and when they left on Friday, they said they would be back on Monday to finish. I spent an hour picking up discarded nails, screws and debris around my house on Saturday. Monday came and went, no show and no call. Tuesday, no show but they called and said they would be here Wednesday. Again, Wednesday came and went and no show, they did call and said they would be here Thursday. When I questioned them as to why they were a no show and why the finish job was taking so long all I got were excuses. It was going to rain, it was cold, they had other jobs etc. They arrived about 9:30 Thursday morning, the roofer was in such a hurry that when he left, he left his ladder leaning up against my patio roof right where he was using it. Now I have to wonder what kind of job he did if he was in such a rush. I re arranged my entire schedule the week before Christmas, waiting around for them to arrive and finish the job. Which was a total waste of my time and efforts. I read the reviews for Right Way Roofing and thought I was making a good decision. I was obviously wrong and looks like I may have just had back luck with them. If I knew what I know now, I most likely would have chosen another roofer. read more
