The car would not charge so we called Royal and they said, "did you have it certified by Tesla to supercharge". Our sales person NEVER mentioned we would need to have it certified by Tesla, at a cost of $1500! We were stranded 250 miles from home and could not charge, so had to rent a car to get to our destination and then deal with the car on our return. It was a "royal" pain and Royal simply said they needed to to a better job educating their sales people about the certification requirement. They did not offer any compensation for all of our trouble or even offer to pay anything toward the cost to re-certify supercharging. This is such a huge failure in their otherwise solid reputation that I can not give them any other rating than one star.

Like others I had appointment times that were meaningless. They expect you to leave your vehicle with them for as many days as it takes them to get to it. One service advisor actually told me that making an appointment only gets you a place in line for service. Don't expect anyone to call and tell you when it will be ready either. You have to keep calling them to get any updates. Bad service hasn't stopped them from raising their prices either. Higher parts and service costs than other dealers in the area. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

James was very friendly, and his customer service was second to none. There were lots of people there, and he did his best to take care of everyone as quickly as possible. The pickup of my truck was smooth and with better service than many actual U-Haul locations I have visited. He was very professional, and upon my return, he was very quick to check me in so that I could enjoy my day. There is also a gas station right next door so you can fill up without searching around or driving around wasting gas. If I'm in the area, I will definitely rent from this location again. Extremely unprofessional and didn't want to even check inventory.
