Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. Service! Our experience all started with our sales rep Colton. He did a great job explaining what…read moreour needs for a generator would be. He was not trying to upsell us with a unit we didn't need. After a couple of days of conversation with my wife and going over what was offered to us by other venders, we decided to go with Grasten. After doing all the paper work and paying the initial down payment, we were assigned a project coordinator by the name of Morgan. Morgan is great. We talked on the phone and then sent me an email with what needed to happen, when we needed to be home with dates and times. When I called with questions and updates she was able to talk to me right away, or if she wasn't in the office, she returned my call right away. There was only one hiccup with the project. During the final instal my tech informed us that there were a couple relay switches that were missing from the factory. My tech took pictures of the area where the switches should have been. The next morning I called Grasten's office and talked with Parts/service Dillon. I had asked him how long it would be to get the switches in. Dillon said he would call the manufacturer and call me back with an answer with getting us the parts. My wife and I we very anxious about getting the generator up and running since a storm was due to hit us that night. About an hour later, Dillon called us and said tech with the parts was on his way and should be there to our house in 20-30 minutes. When our techs showed up, they were friendly and worked very diligently to get my unit up and running. The unit fired right up and ran perfectly during testing. We are very happy with how Grasten solved a problem in such a quick manner. An A+ in customer service and I would recommend them to everyone looking for a generator.

If you go to Google reviews you will see multiple complaints like mine where Blaze does not respond to requests for the maintenance to be performed which is paid for under the purchase agreement for the first two years. Blaze generators needs to be held accountable to their written agreements and perform the maintenance as required!
