We had Riley for my son's 8th birthday party and he was beyond amazing!! He arrived early to set up, was very polite and easy to communicate with. The show was fantastic! All the kids and adults were WOWed. There was never a dull moment when Riley was performing. I am glad we booked him and will definitely do it again for our future events! Highly recommend.

I love magic. He's a magician. He can make magic. I had some money. With just these ingredients, you too can book a stellar magic performance from this charismatic fellow. I'll tell a small anecdotal tale of my experience now. Setting: My Backyard, dressed as a graduation for my sister-in-law, stunning. June 1st of the 2024th year. The feeling electric with anticipation for the phantasm or illusory, could also have been some alcohol. So there I was, in my small studio mansion where I was ensuring that everyone stayed out of my mansion - that was for VIP only. *Knock & clatter - I turn in shock* My sister-in-law there with a childlike grin and a glint in her eye that suggested Santa Claus is real, she alerted me that this prestigious guest had arrived - Magic is here. I headed outside and there he was. Me looking like 20 buckaroos, him like a million. He only needed a small portion of the mansion to setup his briefcase of wonders, so I showed him to his quarters. He was Riley, he is him. While I was busy wisping around doing only the lords work(Alcohol), he was blending in like a panther stalking wild hogs, dressed to kill! They didn't know what hit them! Before you know it, all I hear is good call on the magician and wow how did he do that?! In fact, while you simply think you're talking to him... You're wrapped in his spiderlike thaumaturgy, yet another illusion and your kitten like mind didn't even know it until it's too late.... You're enamored begging for just one more trick! Be warned, if you seek the magic, Riley will be there... Waiting. None are ready for his book of spells and harrowing arcane that will stagger and astonish your minds, because you aren't magic. He is magic, He is Riley, He is him. 10/10 would hire again - reasonably priced and wonderful performance. To say his performance is great is underselling it. read more

All the tricks he performed on the fly were leaving the guests with HOW DID HE DO THAT??? He was very personable, friendly and got the guests involved in the magic. Lilly was our artist and balloonist and she is such a joy! She arrived on time and was easy to work with. My son wanted a lizard drawn on his arm and she was able to paint it off the top of her head. Because our company party was held at a restaurant (the restaurant was lagging behind a bit), he was very flexible in his setting up and when he'd start. He worked around the schedule to ensure that people were able to enjoy the show. The show itself was great. I'm not going to spoil the tricks but there was a good variety of different tricks and each had different levels of participation. Everyone stayed engaged and each person had a different favorite trick at the end of the performance. Some of the tricks even allowed us to receive souvenirs which was really nice. Throughout the performance, Hito was entertaining and cracked comical jokes that made us all laugh. He was able to defuse some of the awkwardness and tension that came with the restaurant being unorganized and coworkers and their partners meeting for the first time. His pricing is very reasonable and well worth the time. I booked him for 45 minutes. If you're thinking about booking Hito for your event, do not hesitate! You will have a great time!

We never ate at movie theaters because the food tasted like school lunch but this popcorn chicken was at least one step above that :) It only comes in maybe a total of 20 small thumbpad sized bites so be warned. You will not get full from one box. We finished the popcorn chicken within 5 minutes of sitting down, and that's with us eating slowly. Still a good choice if we're not feeling actual popcorn! First, book your tickets online ahead of time. We saw Devil Wears Prada 2 on a Saturday, over a month after it came out, and the theater was still completely full. I'd recommend grabbing tickets at least a day or two in advance for a weekend showing. Yes, everything is expensive. The tickets, the food, the drinks. But you're in a luxury theater in Newport Beach where someone brings a burger and fries to your seat while you watch a movie, so you kind of know what you're signing up for. And honestly? The burger was delicious and the fries were great. The Aperol spritz was a little flat on flavor though, could have been more sugary/fruity. The bathrooms were clean and well kept, which I always appreciate. My one real complaint is the volume. I get that a big theater needs to fill the room with sound, but it was genuinely too loud. That part I could have done with the volume down a notch or three. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our experience at THE LOT.

Saw Riley first on an underground local access cable t.v. show called Kung Fu Theater. He did some tricks for a college girl, then a hippie. Hilarious stuff. He isn't one of those old time goofy magicians. More like Chris Angel only Riley's magic tricks are real. No camera shots or fake actors. We found him online for a birthday party for the office. The workers and their kids all loved the show. Plus he was very professional, on time, and reasonably priced. He did a little stage show, then hung around the party doing individual tricks for an hour or so. Highly recommend this guy to entertain a crowd. read more

My company hired Riley to do magic at the Christmas party this year. He kept the old people entertained, the kids entertained, the drunk people entertained LOL! He's really funny and not the old fashioned geeky kind of magician. Like down to earth and a cool guy. How he makes the card from his deck jump into the ladies bra region is beyond me. Must be some kind of mind control. Or just crazy cards. I was told he does a great bleeding eyeball trick, but I missed it. Good thing. Probably couldn't handle that! read more
