We were in the neighborhood around lunchtime so we stopped in when we arrived it was busy, by the time we left, it was packed. It's a unique menu fit for most palates and healthy as can be. It attracts athletes if all ages, healthy eaters of all types. You won't find much meat but there is some. It also as an Asian flair with offerings of congee and fried chicken sides, fish, rice and veggies of all sorts including kimchi . Japanese egg salad sandwiches too. That's one I need to try next time. Today we both chose the mushroom congee with 7 minute egg and a hot drink. A spicy chai with oat milk for my husband and berry hibiscus tea for me. We both enjoyed our meals but just a bit too much garlic for me but just right for my husband and must others too. I loved the volumes of mushrooms and the sprinkles of spices on the whole egg. The egg was done perfectly. My husband brought home a side order of popcorn chicken as I will be at a meeting so he will be eating dinner alone. The service was great, everyone friendly and helpful the cafe bright and clean and the ordering counter moves fast. They deliver to and clear the tables. More quick casual places should do this to avoid the piles of debris at bins in the seating area I often see. There is a flat panel screen on the wall featuring cyclists in the wild given that energy snacks were the first products of this company and much for sale here too. The mix of diners covered the spectrum of adults you would expect in Boulder. This cafe is only breakfast and lunch so come when convenient earlier in the day. Parking is free and always available in this center. Lots of construction around the intersection so plan your trip to get into the lot via Alpine and not Broadway. That Broadway construction will be ongoing for a while. It's also a good place to arrive by bike. Pricing was very affordable and variety of meals wide.

The restaurant is located off main street and is small by comparison to other eateries in the area. Parking could be a challenge but we did find a spot right away. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Mexican and American food. I ordered Enchiladas with red sauce that was amazing. My son ordered pancakes which he said were some of the best he has had. Coffee was hot, freshly brewed and delicious. What more can you ask for? Overall, this is a place you must try as I'm sure you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

I was tired after a good ride and this was the perfect stop to rest and relax. Fast forward 9 years later, I am in town again and my friends that live close by suggested we come here for breakfast. The place opens at 7am and we were able to get a table outside and we all ordered what we wanted. Everyone was super happy with their order including me! And funny enough, on the same day, I came back in here at 3pm as I was backing from Pearl St Mall and it was a hot day and needed a nice refreshing drink. I ordered an iced hibiscus lemonade and it was good! Not too sweet but so full of hibiscus flavor! Yea! This is one of my favorite places in Boulder! The background music can be a bit loud at times, but with headphones in, it was totally manageable. Overall, a great place to grab a pastry and drink while getting some work done.

I was so sad but I ordered the classic Avocado and it was fine. I hope they bring the Blueberry Ricotta back for summer. My husband had the classic smoked salmon. Maybe next time I will try that. Chicken fried steak - 8/10 - this was one of the better ones that I have had. The hash brown potatoes were crispy and delicious and the sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly . Oatmeal - 6/10 - hard to have amazing oatmeal, it was fine Pancakes - 7.5/10 - these were light and airy, yummy, and huge (they were the size of the plate) This is a great place to frequent.

Anyway, there was only one other table occupied in the small dining area, but we did see a couple people stop in to pick up to-go orders. The decor is simple, but cute and the ambiance of the place is laid back. It's a perfect spot to grab a quick lunch, and is very easily accessible off of Arapahoe. There's a decent amount of parking out front, but it may get a little crowded if multiple cars are maneuvering to get out of the lot at the same time. I decided on the curry and my friend went with the bulgogi, which seemed like two solid choices for a cool afternoon. It didn't take much time at all for our meals to get to the counter, and the presentation was so nice! There was steam coming from both dishes, and they both looked super tasty. We sat at a table by the window and dug in immediately. The flavors were excellent, and the spice level was perfect; my friend ended up getting his on the spicier side too, and he said it tasted great; not too spicy and all the flavors of the meal came through. For the two of us, lunch was about $35 (with no drinks), which wasn't too bad considering portion sizes. The quality of the food is very good, and the ingredients all looked and tasted very fresh. I'd definitely stop in again sometime soon to check out the other dishes they have available! There is also a list of specialty drinks that would be cool to try out.
