A perfect date night spot. The atmosphere is lovely, but the food is outstanding. The hummus was delicious, but we were really floored by the Moroccan carrots and roasted cauliflower. Then I had the beef kebab and it was almost too much flavor. But what I really loved at Rina's (aside from the friendly service) was how filling and delicious the food was without making me feel bloated or overwhelmed. Visited Rina for the first time last week, and thought it was mediocre. I split a meal with a friend and we tried the steak skewers and the lamb burger. They were both just okay. I did love the fries that came with the burger! That was the best thing about both meals in my opinion. I probably will not be going back. read more

Have gotten food to go recently a few times from this modern Middle Eastern restaurant. Excellent quality with great flavors. We have ordered Amba chicken, Beef Kebob, and Steak Kebab - excellent and unique dishes. Be sure to get Mezze (small plate appetizers) - particularly like the tabbouleh roasted cauliflower and Israeli salad. Stopped here for dinner on Friday night. Great atmosphere for a casual, yet classy meal or drinks. From the beltline this restaurant seems tiny with few outdoor spots, more like a food truck. But they have a whole section and a great ambience inside in the lower level. The theme is Israeli and the food is great! We had the hummus no. 1 followed by a falafel salad and the amba chicken. Food was delicious, but I think they can do better with the portion size. I was still a bit hungry after polishing off my chicken entree. I stepped out of my comfort zone to try this restaurant & support my friend who is working there. I must say, it was CERTAINLY worth it! I tried the Jerusalem fries w/dipping sauce, the carrots, cauliflower and chickpeas and the amba chicken for my main course. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so cute, it's chic meets street food. The yarn hanging planted pots and large tapestries make the bar and aesthetic so appealing. Definitely a nice place for a chill date or to go out with girlfriends. The drinks were superb. And the food was perfectly seasoned. As a lover of Israeli food I always want to give Rina the benefit of the doubt...but time and time again the service is horrendous - it took nearly 40 minutes to order our food, no one replenished our water and when someone finally came to clear dishes from the table they swiped my cocktail that was still half full. Wanted to celebrate my birthday by trying some place new, so picked Rina. The place was hopping and vibe electric. The tables seat only 4, but accommodation were made for my party. Most of my guest had never eaten Israeli food, so I was a little nervous. However, Rina did not disappoint!! The international foodie in the group said the diahes were amazing. New Israeli food joint in Atlanta and located on the Atlanta Beltline sitting bang opposite to Ponce city market. This is a new addition which opened last month and on the day of my visit the place was full. You have to climb down the stairs to reach the dining area after entering the joint. We were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. The interiors are fresh, contemporary perfect for casual dining with a hint of a sit down formal seating. The colors are vibrant which add on to the entire experience. The menu is not very elaborate which means quality food. WE ordered 1. Hummus no 1 - the hummus was smooth, well seasoned however the hard boiled egg and beetroot did not add anything not for me, I would have preferred it without any additions. Hummus is served with a pita bread. 2. Harissa fries- fresh fries well seasoned. 3. Chicken shawarma - this was my least favorite dish on the menu. It had all the components to make it a good shawarma however there were too many spices in the chicken. I could hardly find chicken pieces and whatever few I found, i could not taste it. It was full of spices mixture. Had it been well balanced it would have made a good shawarma. 4. Falafel - moist, light, well seasoned with a sauce which went well with falafel. 5. Tehina shake- this was my favorite thing on the menu. I would go just for their shake alone. This was better than any tehina shake that I have had. Even better then the chef Solomonov's joint in Philadelphia. A must try. read more

Excellent israeli food and the flavors literally explode in your mouth. We had many of the same foods people already wrote about - mezze: chickpeas, dates & ulfa, eggplant and israeli salad. The chickpeas were a sweet savory dish with the date and peppers perfectly balanced. We also had the chicken shwarma and falafel pita sandwiches. Both were large and came with pickled vegetables on the side. The shwarma had wonderfully prepared onions with sumac and other spices that made this like no other shwarma I've eaten. Both pitas also had their delicious shredded beet salad. The mezze is served fast as an appetizer - I was surprised that an order of (3) did not include a pita. I asked and they brought it right away but I think it should have been included. At Aziza they serve turkish coffee but here they have turkish coffee MILKSHAKE with brownie sprinkles. OMG, delicious. Please come around more often with the water pitcher. We will definitely return. I want the sabich. read more

We found this place while researching the Ponce Market area. We went in and had the mezze 5 for $15 appetizer plates. OMG so much incredible flavor!!! The mezze plates are incredible. I'm researching how to make them myself now. The waitstaff was so helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. Super chill location with lovely decor.
