    Zero proof Lyre's Prosecco
    Candice B.

The ambiance is amazing here. We sat on outside on a lovely evening. The service was ok, not great, not bad. At times it felt like it took a bit long for our waitress to check on us. I really do love they have a zero proof alcohol list. The Lyre's prosecco was amazing. The GA local lettuce salad is phenomenal but the grilled mushroom skewers were not great at all. They were a little tough and lacked flavor. A friend of mine got the ribeye dish and it was excellent. I've been to Gypsy kitchen a handful of times over the years and usually just grab a drink at the bar, I'll probably stick to that versus dining in.

I don't like this new cake recipe. If I would rate this cake it would be a 1/10, but I'm familiar with Gypsy kitchen and I enjoy their food. The oranges on top of the cake were tart and stale. It ruined the quality of the cake. I hope next time I return they change this recipe

Great service and the mood was perfect for a date night or chill dinner. Overall the main seating area is very comfortable, dimmed lighting, great decor and good music vibes. The food was great! Generous sized tapas, fresh flavor and the most tender octopus I've ever tasted!

I'm really impressed with Gypsy Kitchen. The menu consists of mainly tapas (small plates), a few larger full meal-sized entrees, and desserts. We had the hummus with lamb, skirt steak, & Turkish dumplings. My son had the ribeye. Everything was awesome. In particular, the skirt steak, ribeye, and hummus. The flavor profiles were just perfect. If you like food from the Mediterranean, Turkish, Spain / Basque, etc., this is the right spot for you. Aside from the food, atmosphere is top notch. This is nestled in a high end shopping era in Buckhead. The restaurant is on the second level and overlooks the city. Nice outside patio. When we arrived, the place was busy. We wouldn't have gotten a table except that the bar area was self service seating and we snagged a table. Overall: Great. Go there if in ATL!

Came for happy hour with a friend. We shared two flat breads: the lamb one and the serano ham one. Both were super good! The lamb flatbread was seasoned perfectly and great for sharing but the serano ham had a great touch of both salty and sweet which I loved. Of course, we had to get the patatas bravas which was delicious. Dry January is in full effect so I got the beetlejuice mocktail. Don't let the beets scare you away! This was perfectly sweet with just a hint of citrus taste! Such a good drink. Overall, great service and vibes and I will definitely be back! Also, they validate parking!

One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Everything in the menu is delicious but the Charred Octopus is a favorite and the 50 Shades of Purple is a MUST try! Perfect for a girls night, date night or happy hour location.

Celebrating birthdays via rooftop. The space was such a downtown upscale vibe. We had Wonderful and attentive staff with yummy food to add. Will definitely be back to try more tapas.

Went a few months ago and this was the dessert. I don't remember what it was called, it was some chocolate that the server highly recommended. Was nothing special, but did have a bit of an unappetizing appearance.

I have tried their Brunch and was very impressed! strongly recommend. Their masquerade themed dinner for Halloween was cute and low key. I had the mussels, branzino, broccolini and Tiger Lily cocktail. Mussels were good quality and delicious. The sauce could have been a little thicker to dip the bread, and the bread was a little burnt. However the flavor was there. The Branzino was one of the best in Atlanta, probably second only to Zakia. Filleted perfectly, lightly seasoned and super crisp skin. The cocktail was tasty! a great take on a mezcal drink. The waitress was attentive and helpful, as always. They validate parking as well!

Probably 1 of my favorite go to places for quick small bites & good drinks. Lychee Martin's are soooooo good here along the patatas bravas, the apple salad, etc. sooooo good 9/10 The atmosphere is also amazing with the views and vibes from the rest of the outside.

We went to Gypsy Kitchen to celebrate my mother in law for her milestone birthday on Friday night. The ambiance was nice with dim lighting and upbeat music and personalities from the staff. We were greeted immediately and the host immediately asked whose birthday we were celebrating after checking us in and verifying the reservation notes. We were seated within minutes. Johnny was an amazing server! He knew the menu well and made good recommendations. We tried several small plates (look at my photos). It was great to try a little of each thing, and we ordered chickpea hummus, pita, patatas bravas, grilled octopus, lamb skewers, garlic shrimp, and Moroccan Hot Chicken Bites. They were all good and well seasoned. They have a mocktail menu and Johnny crafted a spin on the Black Hole Sun (no blackberry) for my mother in law. She liked it We ordered a large plate of seafood paella to share and it was okay. It could have had more seafood and less rice as far as the ratio. It was definitely shareable but I'd give another large plate a shot the next time. For dessert, my mother in law wanted the chocolate torte which was very rich and good for anyone who loves chocolate desserts. She liked it but I didn't as much. I decided to try the Spanish Olive Oil cake but didn't care for it. The chocolate torte was better. Overall, the experience was amazing. I felt the love and we were treated well. The tapas (smaller plates) are where it is at! You can stick with those and really enjoy your time here. My top 3 were the lamb skewers, patatas bravas and the chickpea hummus with fresh pita. My mother in law RAVED about the smalls. I would come back again.

My first time at Gypsy kitchen and it was a delight. We sat on the patio and it was great weather. My group and I got a selection of small plates. We had a nice spread including the asparagus, PEI mussels, Brussels sprouts, mushroom toast, lamb skewers, smaller bacon wrapped dates, grilled skirt steak, hot Moroccan chicken bites, ahi tuna crisp, chicken bites, garlic shrimp. My faves were the bacon wrapped dates, grilled skirt steak, and the hot Moroccan chicken bites. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was quiet enough to have a conversation and is great for groups. Overall a great night. As for parking Gypsy kitchen is located in buckhead village, complex of restaurants and retail shopping. There is valet available for the complex which was $20. There is also paid self parking, but I am unaware of that cost.

Great place to try a bunch of things with a big budget. Some of my favorites with a smoked bacon wrapped around a date. The steak entrée was delectable and juicy. The whipped feta was delicious with the spiced bread. I like the chocolate torte. Brussels sprouts were also terrific. Very friendly staff that was generous to give us our recommendations and super accommodating. I like the ambience of the place and how it all looks. Very high ceilings

We did have a reservation, so after that was confirmed, we were seated. Soon after we were seated, our orders were placed. We wanted to share the mimosa tower (we got the one that serves 12) - which, split amongst the table, was reasonable. Our food order, ironically, came well before our mimosa tower - which was a little interesting, but we rolled with it. We ate, and as soon as the mimosa tower came, we were able to indulge. We did have to flag down our waiter to point out that they did short us. We were only given 9 out of the 12 servings. So, they prepared the missing 3 servings, and all was good from there. Beyond that, I did enjoy the food. I enjoyed the mimosas - with their lavender one being my favorite. Pricing was reasonable on the food. As for the restaurant, even though it was fairly busy, service was still pretty quick. The overall vibe was lively; they had a really great playlist going at the time. It has nice design/decor elements that I found interesting to look at. I'd definitely go back, but I'd like to try maybe happy hour or their lunch/dinner menus.

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

Usually this type of menu wouldn't interest me, but I pass by it often when I'm in this area, and it's usually pretty busy. I also like the casual vibes that this place and others around it share. I had a Cuban-style half chicken with yellow rice and black beans. My granddaughter had a chicken quesadilla with the same sides. She dug right into the rice and ate most of the quesadilla which seemed quite cheesy. She also ate a good amount of my chicken. I like this style of chicken which has a strong marinade and slow roast with crunchy skin. It was good, though the breast was a bit dry, so I drenched it black beans, as one does. The black beans are solid. They leave the herbs in them and have quite a bit of flavor, good texture, saucy. The yellow rice was a bit dry, but decent flavor. The era of free chips and salsa is not yet gone. The service is passable. When they're with you, they're good but getting their attention when the place is busy is challenging. They seem to be short staffed. We eat outside. The patio is dog friendly so far as I know. We've never run into issues bringing ours. There is an indoor dining space but it looks tired so we prefer outside. Parking isn't terrible but there are stairs up to the patio. Those who can't climb them must be dropped off at the front sidewalk so the driver can park. I'm not sure if there are other options. Have patience and enjoy.
