You get what you pay for, their meat is good. I asked for that specific piece and he proceeded to ignore me and chose the piece that he wanted. The piece was a much smaller size. I told him that I wanted the other piece because it was a better size(not too small, not too big). He went on to say that they are all the same size and stuffed the bag with both pieces! Don't know if he's trying to meet a quota! I chose another type and made sure to tell him I only wanted one. As a customer this experience did not make me feel valued. It made me feel very ignored. He then facetiously started wishing me a good day. I proceed to checkout and let the lady know what had just happened & she graciously mentioned that she could tell him to take it out. I was like that's ok. Just wanted to get out of there. I was very upset and mentioned to her that'll just leave a review. Don't know if she was one of the owner's wives ;), because she proceeded to let me know that management doesn't see the reviews anyways. I responded that this is a review for us customers to see, but as good business management I would think a business would like to see their reviews here and there. Anyhow, $90+ later, for three pieces of meat(one in which I didn't ask for) and a salsa, you bet that I am going to write a review.

They have a great deli too! The produce is fresh and they have a good selection of organic produce. I like their bakery products like the banana and blueberry muffins. They are really good heated up in the morning with tea or coffee. Sometimes I eat one as an evening snack. They have other bakery items to try. Looking forward to trying other fresh items. They also have great soups. I don't remember the brand but the soup had a ton of vegetables and a good amount of chicken but not too much meat which I enjoyed. The cashiers are friendly as well and make small talk with you which is nice. You can tell they have a lot of regular customers who come in often. It's nice when places remember you or your name. They also have a great selection of milk alternatives like soy, oat or almond milk. It's about $6 a carton. They have sales often too. Give them a try it's a nice community grocery store.

The first time I visited a few weeks ago, I had a really positive experience. The location was a little hard for me to find, but once I got there, it seemed worth it. I walked in craving a breakfast burrito and was helped by a very nice, slender gentleman at the counter. I asked for a ham, bacon, and sausage breakfast burrito and also requested that it be cut in half. He was friendly, said no problem, and within minutes I had exactly what I ordered. That burrito was delicious. The salsa station was stocked and convenient with self-serve cups readily available, and the atmosphere was nice. The people around me were friendly, and one gentleman even mentioned this was the place that used to be near Peterson's Donuts. Overall, it was a great first impression and I left happy, already planning to come back. Fast forward to today, Saturday, April 25, 2026 around 10:30 AM, and unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. This time there was a young woman working the register, and from the moment I approached, she didn't seem very welcoming. I told her I wanted to order a breakfast burrito but wasn't sure what kind I wanted today. She told me the only options were bacon, egg, cheese and tater tots, or egg and cheese. I politely asked if I could add ham and sausage and pay extra, since that's what I had ordered before. She immediately responded that they "didn't have that type of breakfast burrito." That response confused me because I had literally ordered one there before. I wasn't going to argue, especially because her tone and attitude made me feel like I was bothering her just by asking questions. I then asked if the burrito could be cut in half and never really got a clear response. I also noticed the salsa station no longer had the little self-serve cups available, so I had to ask for those too. The same cashier asked how many I needed, and I said two. A few minutes later, another woman called my name and handed me the burrito. I sat down and realized it wasn't cut in half like I requested. At that point, I had to go back up and ask for a plastic knife and fork just to cut it myself. Which was not a problem or issue for me. I ate half of the burrito, but honestly, it wasn't nearly as good as the first one. The taste was underwhelming, and by the time I left I was just so disappointed. I ended up throwing the other half away after I left. Consistency matters, especially when the first experience set the bar high. The food was great the first time, but the service and quality were lacking the second time around. My honest opinion: if someone is having a bad day, they probably shouldn't be the first face customers interact with at the register. I may update this review depending on how management responds, because I know this place can do better based on my first visit.
