I got stuck in the middle of Palomar mountain with a flat tires, on a motorcycle, during heavy rain... I managed to somehow ride down the hill to Ricon Travel Plaza with 1PSI in my rear tire and the staff really helped me. They were very supportive, nice, friendly, landed me 2 pairs of pliers, gave me a lot of air and were able to sale me a tire patching kit (that another gas station up the hill didn't have). Oh and the gas is also affordable here. A huge plus for the services, prices and support! read more

I was just told by the cashier that if you're not "native" that your prices will be higher. I noticed they have no prices on many items and when I tried checking out the prices were doubled as what a normal convenience store would charge. The cashier confirmed this and I'm never going back. read more

Ok how many people drive by this on every trip but don't go in? It's a small plaza with a Subway and the convenience store and gas station is open 24 hrs. The Subway is not. On my last trip I stumbled in here late at night as the food options are limited and close around 11ish at Harrahs. I took a quick walk into her and they have pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches etc. they have a full coffee section as well. I found a Reese's peanut butter cookie and had to have it. Prices are reasonable here and the staff was very friendly. They even rotate the food. Saw them take out the old pizza and started to cook some new slices. I'll be sure to come here on my next trips to Harrahs. read more

Came by for gas, left with a pizza. Gas prices at the gas station here are very competitive compared with the area and cheaper than most in Orange County. This location includes an indoor public bathroom and a convenience mart. The mart has ready-to-eat food like pizza, hot dogs, taquitos, and nachos. They also have a microwave for the frozen meal items they stock (burritos, frozen dinners, etc). I was craving a pizza so I asked for a pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately, they didn't have any at the time. All they had were supreme pizzas which include vegetable toppings. All the full pizzas (supreme, pepperoni, and cheese) are $9.99 plus tax. Pizzas are a nice size (about the size of a large Dominos). The pizzas are frozen and behind the counter. The attendant preps the pizza and bakes it in the oven behind the counter that is timed for about 5 mins. The pizza was provided to me hot with the cheese nice and gooey. The crust is on the thick side (not deep dish though) and soft. I prefer more of a NY style crust that is slightly crispy. Pizza was okay. Toppings were sufficient. This place is horrible. 8 bucks for half a turkey sandwich with nothing on it. 6 bucks for a gallon of water. Nothing in the store has a price on it, but I can see why. The pumps at this station are not calibrated right !! We needed to fill gas cans for our CanAm and it held only 5 gallons but the pump said 5.4. If you fill up a vehicle that holds 15- 20 gallons you are really getting ripped off. This station is not regulated being on Indian reservation so they can do whatever they want. Beware you are NOT saving any $$ getting gas here!! read more

If you gotta make a stop then you GOTTA make it here!!!! I don't post normally reviews but I really had to get on here and let everyone know about this place!!! #1: The bathrooms are actually CLEAN!!!! You can tell that they really really make an effort. An you may not believe this but they actually smell good too!!! #2: The employees are exceptional to say the least! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Good customer service is really rare these days, so it was great to actually experience that today. The store manager was very kind and welcoming!! I really can't say enough about this place. Day or night, the staff is great. I'm a very firm believer in "Hard work pays off" and the employees have clearly been working hard! You can see it all around, inside and out. I drive ALOT so I stop at so many gas stations an this one has ALL of them BEAT! They literally have EVERYTHING you need and more! I was so impressed I just had to share!!! I stop here regularly on my commute to work and the people working here are always so nice and helpful no matter the hour. Thank you for all that you guys do, if you haven't been told lately please know that you're truly appreciated! I have seen some "interesting" characters on occasion especially later in the evening but it's probably because Harrahs Casino & Resort is right next door. You get what you pay for, and the quality stuff and gas will be an indication of such. Go to the Pilot gas station, where the gas is much cheaper, although there may be a line. They're right in front of Valley View casino, and they charge less than Rincon. Pilot employees are capable of putting out of order signs on their gas pumps instead of giving their customers a run around. Don't waste your time or money here. read more
